This was very helpful, Rachel! I'm going to look into some of these. My son has been interested in economics/business, but we haven't explored it in our homeschooling yet (he will be an 11th grader this year). I would love for him to have the Christian perspective in these areas.
These recommendations are so valuable! IAnd I’m so encouraged that your are raising your boys with these principles and ideas for success. This part of education is left out for the vast majority of students, sadly. Did you find that the study guides were a huge part of the learning process for the uncle Eric books? We have them but not the study guides. I’m trying to decide.
One of my boys did it independently with the guide. But this last one I enjoyed having discussions. So if you are going to be involved- (doesn’t even have to be every chapter) it would be fine without. I either read with or he would narrate what he read😉
for me, I will be grading, according to what he got done😉. Some of it we read and did the questions together, which is very helpful because then you get a better idea of what they are comprehending.
