Honestly I think heisei is really the only one who actually legit KILLED Godzilla now that I’m thinking about it. Showa got him near death and even bleeding but heisei was just a straight up machine that actually killed him. As for mv something that fans tend to forget is that mechagodzilla in that film fought a Godzilla who was not just tired from his fight with Kong but also almost nearly out of energy after drilling a hole into the earth. We even see that where he sees mechagodzilla come out of the mountain and he takes a couple of breaths and musters up whatever strength he’s got left in the tank. Overall amazing vid as always. Even tho kiryu is my favorite can’t compete with heisei

Unfortunately for Showa MG/kiryu, he faced the Godzilla with the “Golden age Superman syndrome” Which means that the respective character with that syndrome can just pull out random powers out of thin air that are convenient for the situation
I believe MG21 is overall weak because he is literally the first of his kind. As the first mecha kaiju, I don’t expect MG to be able to tustle with a full power KOTM Godzilla straight away. What this means is that potential future mechs in the series will be stronger as the technology used to make them improves.
Mecha g 2021 is a melee combatant almost every other iteration of mechaGodzilla is a long-range specialist except 2003 mecha godzilla and the og mecha godzilla but they are balanced out and short mecha godzilla 2021 is the tallest mecha and has big arm's plus mecha g has alot of missiles but og has almost infinite missiles but i can see way you say mecka 2021 is the weakest but even then only one is tall enough to fight him and it is mecha 1993 but even then mechagodzilla 2021 is a prototype he is also not at full power in the movie all other mecha godzillas are finished products and godzillas 2021 atomic breath in the fight looked like his 2019 atomic breath
He's also not smart at all he focused on Godzilla since his minds literally Ghidorah which means he wants revenge on Godzilla that's literally the reason or atleast on of them that he lost he didn't really focus on Kong until he sort of snapped and wanted to kill him
Just wanna say even though some may not care: I discovered this channel recently (thanks to GodzillaKingOfTheMonsters mensioning you in a video) and so far I’m loving the content a lot! Great video too! Nothing but facts, which is refreshing to see unlike the many fanboys and Anti-scalers which flood the internet.
Interms of the monsterverse their are two ways of scaling in my opinion you can take everything into account including novels or books and statements outside the film and imply them to the movies or you can just scale directly what's on screen and ignore everything eles as just side material. If we do that then Kong fight with Godzilla is a lot more fair with Kong actually giving Godzilla a decent fight landing blows but still ultimately lose. Even still Godzilla would still be tire post his fight with kong but it makes mechagodzilla more impressive taking on and dominating both a 50% godzilla and kong. Speaking honestly I find this line of scaling a bit more reliable then using outside statements and media and use what's actually directly said and shown on the film. I also want to note that Wingard said in an interview several months ago that commentary is a separate thing and not a canon to the movie (No Joke). No one was toying with no one. All the three fights, Godzilla was taking Kong seriously and not "having fun" as people claimed. So I'm more hesitant on using wingard statement from the film after he said that and more scale what's actually shown. If you use wingard statements then of course it greatly reduces kong scaling but if you don't like me, then kong and mechagodzilla scaling goes up. How I'll put it I think Kong is around interms of just physical strength 75% to 65% of godzilla strength. Like Kong is not completely fodder in this line of scaling and was strong enough to tire godzilla out and give him a decent fight. I think mechagodzilla vs. A freash godzilla is actually a lot closer then people think. Obviously godzilla does has certain advantages but I don't think mechagodzilla is fodder. I think chuck made a interesting video awhile back on the topic and regardless of what you of think of his scaling the video does at least does a decent job. My final note I would say is I don't think a freash godzilla is completely one shotting mechagodzilla as I see both of them as pretty relative to each other interms of scaling. That would be just my point of view feel free to disagree I just thought I'll share my thoughts on the matter.

Showa Kong punches Monsterverse Kong to the stratosphere since he scales from Showa Godzilla which makes his punches light speed which also makes him solar system level.
Honestly given Godzilla was also at half power and performed significantly worse against MG than Kong did with the axe, I am pretty sure Kong beating him was a case of his plot armor.
@@Goji-C Yeah Kong was primarily able to overpower Mechagodzilla with his axe. Otherwise the mech literally tossed him aside like a toy after getting caught off guard. Kong was probably able to hold back the tail because the tail itself looks quite weak and flimsy next to MG’s other limbs or Godzilla’s tail.
ive seen the anime trilogy so ill somewhat explain mechagodzilla city's feats and how it almost killed godzilla earth. the humans were luring godzilla earth to a trap in mechagodzilla city where they would detonate the ground beneath godzilla and release liquid nanometal and then hardening it. thus allowing mechagodzilla city's turrets to target and shoot godzillas dorsal plates that allows him to use his anti permeable shield. after mechagodzilla city blasts his dorsal plates off they then shoot 1 emp harpoon into godzilla, trying to overload him with energy causing him to explode like godzilla fillius. but instead godzilla begins to turn that energy into heat, he adapted to his own weakness to convert into heat. now he doesn't become scarlet godzilla earth instantly as he needs time to heal and get powerful. the main character is given a choice to kill godzilla earth by using a vulture vehicle to slam into godzilla, thus killing it. mechagodzilla city was SO CLOSE to killing godzilla earth had haruo not had a change of heart after learning that the bilusaludo were trying to conquer earth with nanometal.

The margin between Kiryu and MV is a pretty high one. It is worth noting that at least he is the best fighter out of all. Also worth noting is he is meant to scale off of both non-Godzilla showa stuff and meant to is also meant to (although not stated directly) potentially scale off Millenium Godzilla as it was meant to be the 3rd millenium film after 2000 and Megaguirus (which is why the prologue takes place in 1999). This would mean that he's meant to scale off a Godzilla who stopped an artificial black hole with his atomic breath. If so, which kinda is the original intention, Kiryu would probably be much closer to Showa MG if not above. Something to consider for the future. Still not laying a scratch on MG2 and all get decimated by Anime MG (who's abilities from that MMD are all taken directly from the director's notes). That's my 2 cents and personal critique. Overall, really great vid, man. Hope we can get a scale ranking of every film/show version of Godzilla as a subscriber goal. It's rare to find a power scaling channel that's both entertaining and level headed, this channel will absolutely grow.
The Kiryu Saga, Vs Megagurius, and 2000 don’t take place in the same universe as Vs Mega literally says the current Godzilla is the same as 1954 and Kiryu is composed of the bones of the 54 original. TOHO has an official timeline chart separating all 4 films.
Granted it's been a while since I've seen the movie, but I'm pretty sure the Black Hole Aliens in the Showa film didn't live in a black hole, they were called that because their planet was about to fall into a black hole. They wanted to conquer Earth so that their people could essentially evacuate to it and live here instead. Although I do recall a line saying that their planet had "almost completely fallen into the black hole" which could imply they were able to somehow live on a planet that was partially past the event horizon, which makes no sense. I'd have to watch the film again to be sure, though.
Good point even if I missed that he’d still scale to solar system lvls of power as he can hurt goji who can hurt ghidorah who is invincible in space meaning he’d scale above the black hole, which is consistent as he is also confirmed to have more power than any supernova. This is why scaling fails…it just uses arbitrary calculations that ignore what's happening on screen…if an attack is not visibly causes the damage it reasonably should to both opponent and the surrounding area…then that attack cannot be higher than what's shown. Stated facts that are shown to ignore what eyes can see cannot be trusted when it comes to live action fictional fight scenes. This is my new stance.

MV MechaGs Beam is listed from the japanese Theater Programm of GvK to be 4.10 X 1080 Joules (12 to the 16th Power) similar to MV Godzillas 3.15 X 1014 (10 to the 14th power). If we ignore the last bit (12 to the 16th power) we get 4.10 X 1080. 4.10 X 1080 totalizes over 100‘000‘000‘000, the est. total mass energy of the observable universe 4 X 1069 Joules. If we instead go with 4.10 X 1216 Joules, we get the number 758‘025‘461‘000‘000‘000 Joules or 758 Petajoules. For the mechagodzilla in gvk part, he did not say it would mean Godzilla would win. another fact to take into account is that mechagodzilla is not at full power either, he follows up by saying if they directly put the hollow earth sample into him he would've clapped a full power godzilla even. and for strength terms, this godzilla in gvk weighs 164k tons. and even a full power godzilla would still might lose could go either way. if its full power godzilla vs mechagodzilla gvk(feats)

I would like to see a How powerful is Heisei's destoroyah!!! One of godzilla's strongest villains and most terrifying attacks for any living creature around him. The twisted evil monster who likes to torment his victims while laughing at their pain...*COUGH Godzilla JR slowly dying. Destoroyah is truly a terrifying sadistic monster and that's why he is my favorite monster till this day.

Loved the video! Had multiple great points and good reasons for your placements generally. However, I do want to just talk about Monsterverse mecha a bit. I do agree with many of your points but there are some assumptions and shrugging feats off. For example, Adam Wingard did say the fight would have gone differently if Godzilla was less tired but based off of how well mecha did anyway, I think mecha still would have won. I don’t think you said if you thought he would have won or not but he COMPLETELY destroyed Godzilla in that weakened state. Understandable if that’s not enough but on top of that, he fought Godzilla and Kong at the same time and nearly won as well. You seemed to shrug that point off. Also, you went into detail about the short span of time when Kong was doing well against mecha but that was barely any time, mecha nearly killed Kong straight after and mecha was caught off guard. Now this is not me saying that I would or would not put MV mecha in 4th place but I just wanted to highlight those points.
Love the video however I disagree with Monsterverse Mecha being the weakest and ill give my reasonings. Mg21 directly scales to a stronger Godzilla than the one Kiryu fought and ill give some exmaples, its stated that MV Godzilla has subatomic destruction and this is consistently moon-small planet and MV's overall scaling in the multi-cont range is far more consistent that Kiryu's is as well as Mg21 has better hax than Kiryu like dura neg and etc still a good video though
Due to the reasons I got in the video even if mv is that high ap wise mg barley scales to him while he’s at one of his weakest states in the mv, but I’m glad you liked the video! One thing kiryu can do is do the dash/ram thing and repeat it over and over again until mg21 dies if they were to fight.. his beams are also stronger, and his ABZ literally breaks the laws of physics, if you are somewhat educated you know how heat works, the colder the target is the slower the molecules in it move, and abz freezes the target to exact zero which is physically in real life impossible as that would mean negative movement, which literally then shatters atoms. One hit from abz and mg21 is literally simply gone, absolutely nothing left behind, quite literally not even a single atom.

Do any movie version of Godzilla vs namek goku, my favorite showa era character is Titanosaurus so if he can scale to Showa Godzilla and he can maybe be on par with goku that would be awesome.

@@Goji-C There’s a theory going around that GvK Godzilla was weaker than 2014 since he was starving of radiation in Dominion but I disagree with it for two main reasons. One, since Tiamat killed a MUTO Prime, Godzilla shouldn’t have lasted long if he was so weak. Two, GvK Godzilla evidently moves faster and uses his atomic breath more than he does in the 2014 film.
@@papouligaming9594the muto prime in aftershock it’s confirmed to be the strongest of her species(and we also don’t know how that fight went and if it even happened), the monsters movements in 2014 were slowed down to make them seem more realistic so if it wasn’t for that you would see 2014 godzilla move at that same speed.
OK I just like to point out the only reason kiryu lasted as long as it did against Godzilla was because the JSDF or Mothra got in the way of Godzilla before he was able to deliver the final blow. I watch the movies and there at least half a dozen times Godzilla could have destroyed kiryu.
Yeah. I love Kiryu, but he was basically playing against a Dark Souls super boss when he fights Godzilla. I always had the sense that the pilots and engineers knew that they couldn't simply overpower the big G. They had to play smart and use every advantage he could get. The moment Kiryu took a big hit from Godzilla, he was out of commission for a good minute.
@@Amikas117 That's only because he was hit in his face and Absolute Zero Cannon. Godzilla got several good hits and Kiryu just shook it off. Including Kiryu tanking Godzilla's beam for at least 10s, and just got up like nothing happened. While although Kiryu took every advantage he could, that's what makes you win in a battle. Every Mechagodzilla and Godzilla takes advantages to get ahold of the fight. Kiryu would also scale above KiryuGoji, he was able to outclass him in melee multiple times, and in range KiryuGoji would not have an advantage.
*IMO,* Kiryu scales over Showa MG because Kiryu managed to survive his own weapon (absolute 0 cannon) in water which is more dangerous in water than on land because he could freeze himself, his speed is the same as a speed of an advanced jet that carried him to battles, he managed to get up 3 times after being hit by atomic breath (one of which hit him right in his eye) and his maser blades and drill hand could do a lot of damage. Hell, it even pierced the skin of the most durable godzilla out of any godzilla
@OGCoolname In my honest opinion, that's highballing. I'm a Kiryu fanboy, by the way. I think at the lowest? He's multi-continental. At the highest? Maybe moon-small planet. But since the Showa Era is cannon to Kiryu Saga, it's not impossible to use crossverse scaling. Using statements, Kiryugoji earned the title of "A Monster Amongst Monsters." Meaning he would scale above MOST Showa Era kaiju. Kiryu scales to it not higher than Kiryu Saga. Meaning he would scale slightly below, to even higher than Showa MG.

Also temperature doesn’t make him equal to a star the temperature is not the totality of its potency that would be its GBE and etc.

So I think mecha Godzilla, at least thematically speaking, and with the way he looks, is like the coolest thing ever. We face the problem we retroactively created by answering it with our own version, turning our biggest foe into a ally. Using their power against them. It’s just cool. Also to be fair, I’m not that interested in Godzilla kaiju fights since their mostly visualize as big dumb brawls and nonsense, but the human element that mecha Godzilla brings in is enough to keep me interested.
As you can clearly see…the axe was supercharged by the strongest force in nature…you’re statement is invalid. A non charged axe literally had no effect on mg21 outside of tripping him up because kong is really fucking strong…the only thing that happened was some sparks flew off the impact…

And considering mg21 is being controlled by ghidorah who is sadistic, was most likely playing around with kong just like godzilla OOOR that could be because of how terrible the plot was in gvk that to the point nothing makes sense :D MG21 weighs over 600k TONS while kong weighs around 90k, AND is confirmed to be weaker than godzilla. So the fact that he knocked mg21 to the ground (while mg21 just stood there and took even though he was juking godzilla left and right minutes ago) was purely due to kong having plot armor Now im not saying mg21 is the strongest, but ill go ahead and say hes definetly not the weakest
I really don't think MG21 was playing. I think he just wanted revenge for Godzilla humiliating him. Kiryu would already be above MG21 since he scales above most Showa kaiju, (Showa Era is cannon to Kiryu Saga) meaning he could possibly be stronger than even Showa MG. Showa MG already scales above Showa G who scales to probably Star-Solar System level. While although this may be wrong, it would already put him above MG21 since Kiryu scales above Showa Era kaiju. Kiryu Saga Goji would be stronger than Showa Ghidorah AND Showa MG, since he was stated to be a "Monster Amongst Monsters." Kiryu would scale on par-stronge4 than KiryuGoji, since he was able to ragdoll KiryuGoji across Tokyo. All of this means that Kiryu is probably 2nd strongest. Putting him only barely above Showa MG.
I don't like power scaling, but this is no bias. Showa MG2 is the strongest, hands down. He's a more effective fighter than Heisei MG. You really underplayed him, he cut a fucking mountain in half when he fought King Ceasar. Not to mention, he can survive losing his head. Heisei MG melts from being near Godzilla, but Showa MG without its second iteration caused Showa Goji to bleed profusely and puncture his skin. Don't downplay the metal king of the monsters.
Cutting a mountain isnt that impressive. Only takes around 5k Celsius to cut through rock. Heisei MG melted because Godzilla pulsed. No other reason. Heisei MG punctured Godzilla's skin as well, whats your point?

I would first like to argue that cutting through a mountain is more a feat than you let on. We’ve seen monsters blow up mountains many a time, but to cut through it so cleanly and retain full effectiveness is still impressive. Another thing is Heisei’s lack of CQB. He was built specifically around the idea of getting around Godzilla’s ultimate weapon, his heat ray. It is this fatal design flaw that Showa lacks. Showa is built for combat at any range. Close up he uses a flurry of pushes, jabs, and chops. At range he uses beams and missiles. He can protect himself with his shield rather well, too. But he’s also been shown to dodge his own reflected beam and pick up Godzilla. He’s strong, swift, cunning, and armed to the teeth. Heisei can only try to create a gap, which wouldn’t work since Showa can move so quickly. My point is that Showa has a more balanced but still insane arsenal unlike Heisei who is only effective at range.
Overall scaling for the mv is like moon level to planetary,but really mv mecha really just doesn't even scale to a weaker kong who is at best multicontinental when weaker To say,only the high tiers reach moon level,such as muto prime, godzilla and ghidorah,kong is like in the top 8 and is like...in the 6th place(?)he only got feats and statements that puts him there,just not that good feats,and mecha doesn't really scale to that tbh,blud is like multicontinental at best
Overall scaling for the monsterverse is continental at an extreme highball but more consistently country lvl for the upper echelon titans with the low end titans like rodan and kong getting anywhere from mountian- island lvl
Hey I would like had a few things to your great video scaling. In the comics Godzilla Dominion wich is canon to the Monsteverse. We discover that Godzilla is weakear due to his fight with Muto Prime and having to fight everyday with other Kaiju. Also he just finished healing from his fight with Muto Prime who broke his spine. So Godzilla 2021is way weaker then Godzilla 2019. This make MV Mechagodzilla even weaker.

Honestly I think heisei is really the only one who actually legit KILLED Godzilla now that I’m thinking about it. Showa got him near death and even bleeding but heisei was just a straight up machine that actually killed him. As for mv something that fans tend to forget is that mechagodzilla in that film fought a Godzilla who was not just tired from his fight with Kong but also almost nearly out of energy after drilling a hole into the earth. We even see that where he sees mechagodzilla come out of the mountain and he takes a couple of breaths and musters up whatever strength he’s got left in the tank. Overall amazing vid as always. Even tho kiryu is my favorite can’t compete with heisei

I believe MG21 is overall weak because he is literally the first of his kind. As the first mecha kaiju, I don’t expect MG to be able to tustle with a full power KOTM Godzilla straight away. What this means is that potential future mechs in the series will be stronger as the technology used to make them improves.

Interms of the monsterverse their are two ways of scaling in my opinion you can take everything into account including novels or books and statements outside the film and imply them to the movies or you can just scale directly what's on screen and ignore everything eles as just side material.
If we do that then Kong fight with Godzilla is a lot more fair with Kong actually giving Godzilla a decent fight landing blows but still ultimately lose. Even still Godzilla would still be tire post his fight with kong but it makes mechagodzilla more impressive taking on and dominating both a 50% godzilla and kong.
Speaking honestly I find this line of scaling a bit more reliable then using outside statements and media and use what's actually directly said and shown on the film.
I also want to note that Wingard said in an interview several months ago that commentary is a separate thing and not a canon to the movie (No Joke). No one was toying with no one. All the three fights, Godzilla was taking Kong seriously and not "having fun" as people claimed.
So I'm more hesitant on using wingard statement from the film after he said that and more scale what's actually shown.
If you use wingard statements then of course it greatly reduces kong scaling but if you don't like me, then kong and mechagodzilla scaling goes up.
How I'll put it I think Kong is around interms of just physical strength 75% to 65% of godzilla strength. Like Kong is not completely fodder in this line of scaling and was strong enough to tire godzilla out and give him a decent fight.
I think mechagodzilla vs. A freash godzilla is actually a lot closer then people think. Obviously godzilla does has certain advantages but I don't think mechagodzilla is fodder. I think chuck made a interesting video awhile back on the topic and regardless of what you of think of his scaling the video does at least does a decent job.
My final note I would say is I don't think a freash godzilla is completely one shotting mechagodzilla as I see both of them as pretty relative to each other interms of scaling.
That would be just my point of view feel free to disagree I just thought I'll share my thoughts on the matter.

Kong was probably able to hold back the tail because the tail itself looks quite weak and flimsy next to MG’s other limbs or Godzilla’s tail.
ive seen the anime trilogy so ill somewhat explain mechagodzilla city's feats and how it almost killed godzilla earth.
the humans were luring godzilla earth to a trap in mechagodzilla city where they would detonate the ground beneath godzilla and release liquid nanometal and then hardening it. thus allowing mechagodzilla city's turrets to target and shoot godzillas dorsal plates that allows him to use his anti permeable shield. after mechagodzilla city blasts his dorsal plates off they then shoot 1 emp harpoon into godzilla, trying to overload him with energy causing him to explode like godzilla fillius. but instead godzilla begins to turn that energy into heat, he adapted to his own weakness to convert into heat. now he doesn't become scarlet godzilla earth instantly as he needs time to heal and get powerful. the main character is given a choice to kill godzilla earth by using a vulture vehicle to slam into godzilla, thus killing it.
mechagodzilla city was SO CLOSE to killing godzilla earth had haruo not had a change of heart after learning that the bilusaludo were trying to conquer earth with nanometal.

The margin between Kiryu and MV is a pretty high one. It is worth noting that at least he is the best fighter out of all. Also worth noting is he is meant to scale off of both non-Godzilla showa stuff and meant to is also meant to (although not stated directly) potentially scale off Millenium Godzilla as it was meant to be the 3rd millenium film after 2000 and Megaguirus (which is why the prologue takes place in 1999). This would mean that he's meant to scale off a Godzilla who stopped an artificial black hole with his atomic breath. If so, which kinda is the original intention, Kiryu would probably be much closer to Showa MG if not above. Something to consider for the future. Still not laying a scratch on MG2 and all get decimated by Anime MG (who's abilities from that MMD are all taken directly from the director's notes). That's my 2 cents and personal critique. Overall, really great vid, man. Hope we can get a scale ranking of every film/show version of Godzilla as a subscriber goal. It's rare to find a power scaling channel that's both entertaining and level headed, this channel will absolutely grow.
The Kiryu Saga, Vs Megagurius, and 2000 don’t take place in the same universe as Vs Mega literally says the current Godzilla is the same as 1954 and Kiryu is composed of the bones of the 54 original. TOHO has an official timeline chart separating all 4 films.
Granted it's been a while since I've seen the movie, but I'm pretty sure the Black Hole Aliens in the Showa film didn't live in a black hole, they were called that because their planet was about to fall into a black hole. They wanted to conquer Earth so that their people could essentially evacuate to it and live here instead. Although I do recall a line saying that their planet had "almost completely fallen into the black hole" which could imply they were able to somehow live on a planet that was partially past the event horizon, which makes no sense. I'd have to watch the film again to be sure, though.

Loved the video! Had multiple great points and good reasons for your placements generally. However, I do want to just talk about Monsterverse mecha a bit. I do agree with many of your points but there are some assumptions and shrugging feats off.
For example, Adam Wingard did say the fight would have gone differently if Godzilla was less tired but based off of how well mecha did anyway, I think mecha still would have won. I don’t think you said if you thought he would have won or not but he COMPLETELY destroyed Godzilla in that weakened state. Understandable if that’s not enough but on top of that, he fought Godzilla and Kong at the same time and nearly won as well. You seemed to shrug that point off. Also, you went into detail about the short span of time when Kong was doing well against mecha but that was barely any time, mecha nearly killed Kong straight after and mecha was caught off guard.
Now this is not me saying that I would or would not put MV mecha in 4th place but I just wanted to highlight those points.

Mg21 directly scales to a stronger Godzilla than the one Kiryu fought and ill give some exmaples, its stated that MV Godzilla has subatomic destruction and this is consistently moon-small planet and MV's overall scaling in the multi-cont range is far more consistent that Kiryu's is as well as Mg21 has better hax than Kiryu like dura neg and etc still a good video though

One thing kiryu can do is do the dash/ram thing and repeat it over and over again until mg21 dies if they were to fight.. his beams are also stronger, and his ABZ literally breaks the laws of physics, if you are somewhat educated you know how heat works, the colder the target is the slower the molecules in it move, and abz freezes the target to exact zero which is physically in real life impossible as that would mean negative movement, which literally then shatters atoms. One hit from abz and mg21 is literally simply gone, absolutely nothing left behind, quite literally not even a single atom.

@@Goji-C There’s a theory going around that GvK Godzilla was weaker than 2014 since he was starving of radiation in Dominion but I disagree with it for two main reasons. One, since Tiamat killed a MUTO Prime, Godzilla shouldn’t have lasted long if he was so weak. Two, GvK Godzilla evidently moves faster and uses his atomic breath more than he does in the 2014 film.

OK I just like to point out the only reason kiryu lasted as long as it did against Godzilla was because the JSDF or Mothra got in the way of Godzilla before he was able to deliver the final blow. I watch the movies and there at least half a dozen times Godzilla could have destroyed kiryu.
Yeah. I love Kiryu, but he was basically playing against a Dark Souls super boss when he fights Godzilla. I always had the sense that the pilots and engineers knew that they couldn't simply overpower the big G. They had to play smart and use every advantage he could get. The moment Kiryu took a big hit from Godzilla, he was out of commission for a good minute.
@@Amikas117 That's only because he was hit in his face and Absolute Zero Cannon. Godzilla got several good hits and Kiryu just shook it off. Including Kiryu tanking Godzilla's beam for at least 10s, and just got up like nothing happened. While although Kiryu took every advantage he could, that's what makes you win in a battle. Every Mechagodzilla and Godzilla takes advantages to get ahold of the fight.
Kiryu would also scale above KiryuGoji, he was able to outclass him in melee multiple times, and in range KiryuGoji would not have an advantage.

*IMO,* Kiryu scales over Showa MG because Kiryu managed to survive his own weapon (absolute 0 cannon) in water which is more dangerous in water than on land because he could freeze himself, his speed is the same as a speed of an advanced jet that carried him to battles, he managed to get up 3 times after being hit by atomic breath (one of which hit him right in his eye) and his maser blades and drill hand could do a lot of damage. Hell, it even pierced the skin of the most durable godzilla out of any godzilla

Using statements, Kiryugoji earned the title of "A Monster Amongst Monsters." Meaning he would scale above MOST Showa Era kaiju. Kiryu scales to it not higher than Kiryu Saga. Meaning he would scale slightly below, to even higher than Showa MG.
Kiryu surviving his own absolute zero canon is so out of the realm of absurdity. It's defying the already broken physics of his own attack.

So I think mecha Godzilla, at least thematically speaking, and with the way he looks, is like the coolest thing ever. We face the problem we retroactively created by answering it with our own version, turning our biggest foe into a ally. Using their power against them. It’s just cool.
Also to be fair, I’m not that interested in Godzilla kaiju fights since their mostly visualize as big dumb brawls and nonsense, but the human element that mecha Godzilla brings in is enough to keep me interested.

Kiryu would already be above MG21 since he scales above most Showa kaiju, (Showa Era is cannon to Kiryu Saga) meaning he could possibly be stronger than even Showa MG. Showa MG already scales above Showa G who scales to probably Star-Solar System level. While although this may be wrong, it would already put him above MG21 since Kiryu scales above Showa Era kaiju. Kiryu Saga Goji would be stronger than Showa Ghidorah AND Showa MG, since he was stated to be a "Monster Amongst Monsters." Kiryu would scale on par-stronge4 than KiryuGoji, since he was able to ragdoll KiryuGoji across Tokyo.
All of this means that Kiryu is probably 2nd strongest. Putting him only barely above Showa MG.

I don't like power scaling, but this is no bias. Showa MG2 is the strongest, hands down. He's a more effective fighter than Heisei MG. You really underplayed him, he cut a fucking mountain in half when he fought King Ceasar. Not to mention, he can survive losing his head. Heisei MG melts from being near Godzilla, but Showa MG without its second iteration caused Showa Goji to bleed profusely and puncture his skin. Don't downplay the metal king of the monsters.
Cutting a mountain isnt that impressive. Only takes around 5k Celsius to cut through rock. Heisei MG melted because Godzilla pulsed. No other reason. Heisei MG punctured Godzilla's skin as well, whats your point?

He was built specifically around the idea of getting around Godzilla’s ultimate weapon, his heat ray. It is this fatal design flaw that Showa lacks. Showa is built for combat at any range. Close up he uses a flurry of pushes, jabs, and chops. At range he uses beams and missiles. He can protect himself with his shield rather well, too. But he’s also been shown to dodge his own reflected beam and pick up Godzilla. He’s strong, swift, cunning, and armed to the teeth. Heisei can only try to create a gap, which wouldn’t work since Showa can move so quickly. My point is that Showa has a more balanced but still insane arsenal unlike Heisei who is only effective at range.

In the comics Godzilla Dominion wich is canon to the Monsteverse. We discover that Godzilla is weakear due to his fight with Muto Prime and having to fight everyday with other Kaiju.
Also he just finished healing from his fight with Muto Prime who broke his spine.
So Godzilla 2021is way weaker then Godzilla 2019.
This make MV Mechagodzilla even weaker.
