Ladies and gentlemen Chris Squire and Yes the greatest show on earth. First time I saw this live Chris sang his harmonies above Jon's and Jon kept turning to Chris smiling. They were brilliant.
Howe: "I’m still very proud of [Topographic Oceans] and very pleased with it. There are things in there you never would have thought Yes would do, particularly on side two [“The Remembering (High the Memory)”] - some beautiful, unusual, folk-like, almost Jethro Tull-ish things ... And one of my favorite bits is [sings portion of “The Remembering (High the Memory)”]. Now that to me is Yes at its most exceptional. It’s not [sings riff from “Roundabout”]; it’s in the beautiful, folky world." - GuitarPlayer, Sept 2023
Don't give up buddy. Just expressing yourself through this channel is proof you have the will to take whatever life throws at you. You have the love of your family and your love for them, and though you may not think, the love of the people who listen to your words and the music you play for them. Now for the music. I have read that Jon had read this book something Yogi and Tantra before writing the lyrics for this album. Thus the names Ritual and Ancient, The Revealing Science of God, and Remembering. Their music has a way of opening up your mind to mixed feelings and emotions and taking you to places of those forgotten memories and also of places each individual person, or better yet your own spiritual journey in your mind from the sounds within their songs. This is my take on the music of their music they wrote in the 70s and maybe partaking in some drugs while writing such music as well. Only my thoughts. I could be wrong about it but these are my thoughts. In the 80s while still pushing the boundaries of prog they I believe tried to keep up with the sounds that people were making. I'll stop there. Maybe I'm talking too much about things I don't really know a lot about. I just wanted to share my thoughts with everyone here. What do other people think about my perspective of this band? Yes has been my favorite go-to band since I started listening to their music in the early 70s, especially on those shitty days when things just weren't going that well. Their music always picked me up. Now I come to your channel on them days to so I can cheer up. Yes, you heard that right. So don't stop doing what you enjoy doing
Thank you so much Bruce... I truly appreciate it my friend. You can really feel the healing power from these tracks. I don't know what it is exactly that does it.... maybe it's Jon's vocals. Maybe it's Rick. Who knows. Maybe it's just a perfect harmony between them all in this beautiful blend of old and new.... traditional and progressive.... the perfect duality.
Chris Squire's favorite track out of everything he did from the classic age. 'I felt that I had played it perfectly right, and that's a feeling one doesn't often get.' Also thinks it's his most beautiful work
Didnt know that thank you. CS is out of this word. After 50 years of listening i ser How deep is their musical universe. Songs that never age. Love seeing this passionate reaction to Yes. Always amazed me that albums like this don't get the credit they deserve. Yes are an incredible band. Musicianship is on another level. Keep it coming!
I've lost track of how many times I've seen them live, every single show they would bring me to tears, you nailed it when you said that it's more than music with them, and I'm here to tell you they are one of the most Spiritual bands on the planet Earth 🌎 Brother I'm so happy for you that you have found them, and that you get it, and you really understand the God given talent of these genius artists! I feel your pain, been there, I'm still there and I'm 67 years old/young! I love everything by this band. Open Your Eyes is a killer album. They are without a doubt my favorite band on the planet Earth 🌎 Keep the music and Yes in your soul my friend. God Bless Yes
You are not the only person to cry on the songs of Yes. There are over 50 reactors on You Tube channel...men and women..that have cried on the songs of Yes!!!! The music of Yes speaks to the Spirit,Soul and mind of the person to provoke memories that are both sad and joyous.....painful and Loving.....the group's vision was and still is the Descension and Ascension of humankind....and along the way...they hoped to reach people who identified with this theme. Your tears were shed on " And You and I, Gates of Delirium, & The Remembering." The Remembering is to invoke memories of Ancient beginnings........Gates of Delirium is about the struggles Humanity is going through now.... individually and collectively..."And You and I" and "Awaken" is about our Journey with The Divine Presence of the Creator to Eternity....Humanity is "Close To the Edge" of that reality becoming "Real." I think you are starting become a "Yes" person.
More than music is the best description yet. Your earlir question on the guitar sound or pipe organ. I think Howe was running a guitar through a leslie and later possibly playing a lute. YES the best band I ever saw Ricks orchestrations are superb
The 2 Tracks of the 2nd Record of 'Tales from Topographic Oceans' are total different from the first ones. This is what makes TfTO so One of a Kind, that's the Reason it is, in my opinion, The absolute Masterwork in Progressive Rock of all Time. So many Bands had attempt, but no Band ever will ever achieve the Beauty and Depth of 'Tales from Topographic Oceans'. It's the musical legacy of Yes. This Album is not from this World, It's from far beyond. It breathes The Thought of Gods Creation. ✨ Kind Regards Heinz from Munich. 🌷🌱🌳
If you're born beautiful.... Well... You're beautiful... but if you create something beautiful ....then you've ACHIEVED Beauty... that's what comes to mind when I listen to the music of Yes
these songs are no joke man! it's honestly like a whole event in each track. Crazy... I am glad that I know this band well enough now to kind of see where they are going before they get there. But still be completely bewildered by the end at how they pulled it off lol.
For many years Rick bemoaned this album in justifying his departure, saying this album, had far too much 'padding' . All I will say is:- if this is true, it was bloody good padding!!!! I Always enjoyed the way the 4 distinct pieces linked together like pieces of a jigsaw with riffs already heard surreptitiously sneaking in and out here, even bits of 'close to the edge' found there way in, very deliberately, if you listen carefully, all very deliberate and not padded. And therefore, your insights are worthy and count as very worthwhile and interesting. 🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦
My favourite song from this album. Alan White's contribution cannot be ignored on this album. Apparently, Alan wrote the trippy keyboard sections. Jon's vocals are great, but don't overlook Squire's! The moment they sing together...That's the essence of Yes. The Simon & Garfunkel of Prog! Ha! Chris's musical origins were from his choir boy years and that played a big part in his relationship with Jon Anderson. He knew exactly what he was doing when harmonising with Jon. Also, Chris was proud of his bass line on this. He switched to fretless. Alan's playing on the outro is absolutely fantastic and Jon and Chris have you in a highly emotional vocal stranglehold. Absolute brilliance!
Remember, they have played all of these songs at point in time Live in front of audiences since the 1970's. All these songs are so complex and to do this without sheet music is absolutely insane. Yes.
Well I was not expecting you to cry on this song....wow...great reaction. Yes you are right....if you are feeling like the Ocean or water than Yes has accomplished their goal.....It is their way of saying that we came from Water or Oceans because 70% of our body is "water." So, they decided to create the world of water from which we came from.....full of wonder...joy...mystery.....shamanic rituals.....with Cosmic/Spiritual meanings. Enjoy your journey.
The second greatest album in music history behind 'Close to the Edge'. The next two songs will blow your mind too. Nobody does it better than the greatest band in history!🤩
Hey there. I have so much respect for you. Yes makes life much better. You have such a positive attitude. I'm happy to be a new patron member. Ive seen YES about 30 times OMG INCREDIBLE 😊
Your cheeks are slimmer. You are loosing weight. Wow. It looks good and different in a good way. We are or at least I am here for you.....I have been a Yes supporter since the beginning in 1968. Created a community of Yes fans ......many have passed away.....and we are getting more people who love Yes. So, I keep up on people especially young people who are discovery Yes. Yes band coming from a spiritual bases is always healing to humanity and always tell our story or Journey to the creator of Love.
I've been listening to this since the day it was released and remember being knocked sideways by this side. I love the rest of the album but there is something awesome about side 2. We didn't refer to the track titles, just the side numbers. In the good old days of vinyl you listened to a whole side at a time. Anything else was sacrilegious.
You have such a beautiful soul 💓 I hope life gets easier ... Just wanted to say how proud I am of all the work you've put into yourself and for never giving up. Most people in your situation would've thrown in the towel long ago but not you. Even with the seemingly never ending list of set backs, even when you're scared and broke and have nothing you always show up for me and for our girls. The day we met my life changed dramatically for the better and I thank God everyday for you Lee. I pray we can soon all be together under 1 roof like it should be. ❤ We love you more than you know!
This album followed Close To The Edge. Pre-orders alone made it go Platinum. So glad you found Yes. And glad I found you listening to them. It’s always peace, love and Yes for me. ☮️❤️😎
Let me tell you something my friend: all those things you can´t define belong to the same dimension in where consciousness and mind are. All of my life (I hear this since 1974) this music did connect me with my spirit. Like once I read, "music to sail the endless sea of mind" and like once I said, there are great music, masterpieces and also we have Tales...that is something else
That's perfect. This really is great cerebral food. Helps you build the memory palace as they say. I love how truly powerful it is just it is quite gentle.
Relayer, all the passion spent on one cross Relayer, we advance we retrace our story Fail Safe Now. The ending part of The Ancient is a favorite of mine.
You can thank Jamie Muir the one-time percussionist for King Crimson who was at Bill Bruford's wedding when he suggested the book The Autobiography of a Yogi to Jon Anderson which prompted the creation of this album
Yes is such a beautiful wonderful musical journey!! I am so proud of you for trying to find some peace! Sobriety helps this music to penetrate your soul!! I will being praying for you brother. Sending peace and love your way! Have u watched Jon Anderson and Todmobile live singing Awaken!!! That will send you right into heaven. ❤❤❤❤
Certainly an album that polarizes opinion in the Prog fraternity.... and a number 1 chart album too , let's not forget. The most important YES album I think. On any given listening day it's either this or Relayer or Close to the edge , that is the ultimate ??? Oh the freedom of choice. 😍
Will always be my favorite band and this is my 2nd favorite album from them. Jon's concept and he and Steve's baby as it were. As you know not pleasant for Rick. Besides the fluff he despised, Jon has said in interviews he was a bit of a "Napoleon" in the studio. The last two songs are where there are the most repeating phrases etc. that Rick hated, and are getting more experimental as they went. One thing certain is you see and understand the progression from Close to the Edge to Relayer within (4) side length songs.
YYYES!, Jon's voice IS pure dopamine. And Chris is always on point. This intro is so much about floating and his bass feels like magic bubbles under the sea of a lullaby drifting away into your childhood memories which you mentioned regarding Time moving faster as we age. This is what the song is about, reflecting on the nostalgic innocence we once knew but have forgotten. It moves in drifts through ebbs & flows to build into a tidal wave of emotions which eventually brings you back into a state of profound peace, grace and gratitude for life itself. And yes, YES were more than a band. I've always felt their ability to channel some sacred state of the Divine. They were a spiritual inner journey that takes you to where only music can go when performed by a deeper awareness and YES did it in spades. This song is spellbinding & brings me to TEARS instantly & keeps me there throughout until I'm weeping. YES!!!!!!!! Rainbow, Sunlight, Tell me, Alternate View, SURELY SURELY!!!!!!!))))))........ Now sadly some fans seem to have issues with this song because they don't appreciate the sheer beauty of the smooth undulating mood it creates. My guess is that it's the Rockers who can't "get it". YET the next song is the complete opposite and offers more psychedelia & Rock than even some ROCKERS can handle! I LOVE how YES by the sheer power of their creativity, bold inhibitions and imagination could SHOCK & AWE the audience without trying to appease. I think they were revealing things to us and allowing us to SEE! Oh well I LOVED them & I am happy you can appreciate.
SURELY!! "The Remembering" is Yes at the pinnacle. Thank you for your beautiful post. "Spellbinding" is indeed the perfect word for this Yes (master-)piece.
Wonderful reaction to this personal favorite yes song of mine! As I've mentioned before, I think this is some of the Finest singing the band has ever recorded! Squire plays a fretless bass throughout the song, and Rick provides amazing soundscapes with keyboards and synths! I'm very happy that you enjoyed it, btw. Next up: The Ancient-Giants under the sun. the first 2 thirds of the song may seem a bit....bizarre ( it's mostly instrumental), but it ends with a nice acoustic section. Sorry, don't mean to play spoiler on that. Enjoy!
Love seeing how much the channel has grown. Keep sharing as much personal stuff as you like as this is what makes this channel special and different. Keep it up brother.
This album is amazing, and every time I listen to it, I feel like my soul has healed a bit by the end of the album. I hope it helps you find healing as well.
"I swear he's saying 'relayer'." He is, and i have always believed it was no coincidence that the title of their next album was that. One of those things where you know there is a backstory.
@@L33Reacts I highly recommend the "Tales" reaction videos done by Doug Helvering ("The Daily Doug"). He's a music professor and he does a great job deciphering the gist of the lyrics. Each song relates to a different Hindu shastra, and to confirm your experience, yes - Jon anderson was attempting to evoke ancient/forgotten knowledge (i.e., "things we once knew so well"). That's literally why this song is called "The Remembering" - he is exhorting us to recall the wisdom and precepts once known by our ancestors. Clearly he was somewhat successful in this regard, though it greatly varies from listener to listener.
“Relayer” in this case means a teller of stories(perhaps the most literal thing Jon ever wrote). The Remembering talks about how stories and traditions are passed down through generations.
I love it... Tales start to finish has grown on me through the years... It's pure master piece... You should read the back story of what this album is about... It's absolutely amazing 👏 😍 I have a deep connection with Yes and always will... Funny how "The Remembering" brought out ancient memories for you... that's what the song is about... 😮 It's some spiritual sauce bro!
I believe you, my friend. This is the type of music that seeps into your bones and never leaves. And I'm grateful for that because this is just wonderful.
Stick with Dr. YES! This is about Remembering, the images you were seeing are part of out shared Genetic Heritage and Traditions. Truly a sublime piece, was my favorite on the record for a long time, but The Revealing edges it out. You picked up on the fascinating subject of our pre- history, ancient maps depicting Antartica accurately without ice, and such things as the incredible feats of precision stone cutting of megaliths over 10,000 years ago. These things fascinate me! (and obviously Jon too.) The next side, "The Ancient" delves more deeply into these subjects, ancient civilizations such at Lemuria and Atlantis, and is the wildest track on the record. You will get images! Looking forward to your reaction to that! Bright Blessings to you & your family, and your viewers!
There's a great video from rael_nyc that documents the making of this album. It helps to understand the spiritual texts Jon was pulling from when he and Steve first put all of this together. But yeah, classic Yes has the ability to channel something other-worldly from another time. They really were unique (as side 3 will prove!)
When TFTO was originally released, music critics gave it a thumbs down. They absolutely hated it. I think Tales is their greatest musical creation to date. I hated the fact that after Relayer, they changed. And in my opinion…not for the better. Don’t get me wrong, they were still crankin’ out hits and great music…just not my taste is all. Didn’t take me on that spiritual journey I became so expectedly familiar with…the ‘70’s yes was absolutely mind altering.
So nice to see you're doing this album, my all-time favorite. I saw how you reacted to "The Revealing . . . ." You get it. And now, The Remembering. After the song ended, you seemed a bit lost for words. I know exactly what that's about. I think the word you may have been looking for is "Transcendent." Yeah, you get it. I don't want to spoil anything here, but this whole album has a strong basic overtone. It's called, God. Yep, that's it. It's all there. Enjoy.
18:10-19:54 - the wide open atmospheric interlude here is one of the most beautiful passages Rick Wakeman ever played for the band (I assume it was also written by him, though someone in the comments here suggested it came from Alan White...anyway, Wakeman certainly orchestrated it with the right kind of sounds). A massively cosmic feeling of flying through dawn, or through a vast mental space half outside normal space and time - or yes, like a bird over the ocean.
My favorite Yes song, though if I’m listening to Awaken that’s my favorite song LOL. The Revealing Science Of God seems to get more love, the chanted intro draws you in sooner while The Remembering takes time to build. It’s definitely a slow burn, you have to do a little work to get the reward. That just makes you appreciate the reward more, though. And the expression on your face at the crescendo showed that you got it! “Alternate tune, alternate tune,” Steve with a variation of his motif from TRSOG and Rick’s bright, exuberant keys setting your soul free to fly (to paraphrase Silent Lucidity), while Chris & Alan keep your body in place so your spirit can find its way back. All I’m going to say about “Awaken” is that Jon considers it Yes’ masterwork. After you listen to the studio version, check out the live Jon Anderson & Todmobile version.
Great to see you react so positively to my favourite band and my favourite album (alternating with Yes’s Relayer to be fair). Hope you continue to find inspiration from their music as have I since 1973 👍
For many (even Yes fans) this album is too long-winded. "this could have been condensed into a single LP". I don't think a single note is too much on this album. On the one hand, because the topics change again and again, on the other, because especially in our hectic time a bit of slowness and linger is necessary.
I am happy that you enjoy this album. This isn’t easy listening. My two favorite songs from this album are The Ancient and Ritual. If you want pure beauty and emotion I suggest. To Be Over from Relayer and Turn of the Century from Going for the One
“The most mellow Yes song” ? Maybe you're right. But it takes place in the whole. The four parts are to take as one big piece. The two next pieces are just amazing. I have a big preference for “The Ancients”. And I agree, Yes is more then music. Of course we came from Apes, it doesn't make us smaller, or less interesting. We are from the Sun as Jon Anderson says (in the last song from this album). And all living creatures on this planet are. Don't underestimated the other forms of life. Some are as amazing as we may be. And, for my part, I fear we are on the way of destroying much of the richness of all that surrounds us. And maybe destroying a great part of ourselves in the process. Maybe we will come out greater of this. Who knows. But don't doubt about things like evolution… these are proven since decades.
I am a YES diciple. For your head right now I am prescribing Jackson Browne. Come back with FOR A DANCER or FOUNTAIN OF SORROW. It's good for your soul.
Give Triumvirat a listen and the album Illusions On A Double Dimple is well worth a listen. The whole album is one idea, this becomes evident after a few listens 🙏
The four tracks on Topographic Oceans need to be taken as “one” piece to appreciate it because the next track, The Ancient, is a COMPLETE change which you’ll find weird, Yes have NEVER played anything like it before or since, and listening to The Ancient as one track is like taking something “out of context”; enjoy the ride but with an open mind !
When you get to the final track 'Ritual' make room for the live version from Yesshows. It's longer and even more bass and drums than the studio version.
Side one was the "most experimental" you've heard from them? We're all smiling at each other, knowing what's coming up on the next side. Just know there's a LOT to come in the next two tracks and we are having a blast watching you surf these interdimensional waves.
David Bowie was asked once if the highs and lows of addiction were in a way better than the middle of something like Prozac. He unequivocally said that the middle ground beats those uncontrollable feelings hands down. And he’s one that would have known. Try Ashes to Ashes by Bowie about mostly cocaine😊😢
This album and Going for the One I got at the same time to close the gaps between the Yes album and Talk. After Talk, the band dissolves into oddness until Fly from Here. Then Squire, then White RIP. Howe should retire the name w/o Squire. Name it: Going for the Edge of Topographical fragile tomato.
Our descent into topographic oceans continue... what a hauntingly gorgeous finale man. Once again Rick just absolutely melts my poor brain.

Yes has been my favorite band since 1976, and I saw them twice in concert.
I discovered them 2 years earlier, and was lucky to see them 3 times. I would be glad to see them again even with Chris not there anymore.
“More than music.” Brilliant.
It absolutely is brother... you can just feel it awaken things inside yourself. Kinda freaky haha but I love it.
Jon’s voice is indeed something special. I’ve decided late in life that I’ve never really heard anything or anyone else like him.
And he sounds just as good today as he did 50 years ago.

I truly enjoyed the rise into bliss we had right here. It was... eventful to say the least lol on to side 3!
Celestial!
Thanx for your thoughtful reaction.
The second greatest album in music history behind 'Close to the Edge'. The next two songs will blow your mind too. Nobody does it better than the greatest band in history!🤩
I saw the classic line up..12 to 14 times.. great performers.
Hey there. I have so much respect for you. Yes makes life much better. You have such a positive attitude. I'm happy to be a new patron member. Ive seen YES about 30 times OMG INCREDIBLE 😊
18:40 Ancient memories….”and we danced from the ocean”. Love that this music is affecting you so much. It is ALL GOOD!
“We fled from the sea, whole.”
Whatever you do, hang in there -- you have a lot of precious moments to give.
My friend and I would play this album on the way to see YES in concert! A great way to prepare your brain and heart.
This album followed Close To The Edge. Pre-orders alone made it go Platinum. So glad you found Yes. And glad I found you listening to them. It’s always peace, love and Yes for me. ☮️❤️😎
The lines and layers Rick Wakeman plays is not ¨noodling¨ as has been
remarked by others. This is true symphonic rock.
I always feel that Yes is the soundtrack to a film you write in your own head while you listen. Everyone gets something different from it.
This song brings waves sound to our souls
Yes is such a beautiful wonderful musical journey!! I am so proud of you for trying to find some peace! Sobriety helps this music to penetrate your soul!! I will being praying for you brother. Sending peace and love your way! Have u watched Jon Anderson and Todmobile live singing Awaken!!! That will send you right into heaven. ❤❤❤❤
Thank you so much I appreciate it ☺️ I've earned how hard this music affects me through blood and gnashing of teeth. But here I am. Still standing.
Amazing that nearly everything that is said about the track in the album's liner notes is what you experienced
Is it really? Huh I guess everything worked as they intended then 😁🤣
Good luck with side 3 reaction!
Enjoy!
oh, and they are singing" Relayer"!
Love seeing how much the channel has grown.
Keep sharing as much personal stuff as you like as this is what makes this channel special and different.
Keep it up brother.
With Yes'music its more then tapping along, you will create yourselve somesort of a visual which belongs to you only.
This album is amazing, and every time I listen to it, I feel like my soul has healed a bit by the end of the album. I hope it helps you find healing as well.
To me this song has the most intense "finale". I just love man. Find the 3 Tacets and you will love it more, it all fits together then
"I swear he's saying 'relayer'." He is, and i have always believed it was no coincidence that the title of their next album was that. One of those things where you know there is a backstory.
Dude I knew it! But I didn't realize relayer was the next album! That is so cool. I'm glad I caught that lol
My favorite from this album
Fifty years from now, you will still enjoy it. Take my word for it. Bought this record when it first came out. my college years.
I believe you, my friend. This is the type of music that seeps into your bones and never leaves. And I'm grateful for that because this is just wonderful.
heaven
YES at this point obviously wasn't concerned about being commercially successful. Their shows were like religious experiences.
It's so much more than music..m
There's a great video from rael_nyc that documents the making of this album. It helps to understand the spiritual texts Jon was pulling from when he and Steve first put all of this together. But yeah, classic Yes has the ability to channel something other-worldly from another time. They really were unique (as side 3 will prove!)
"It’s more than music." Yes.
Yes ⛵️⛵️⛵️⛵️🙏
When TFTO was originally released, music critics gave it a thumbs down. They absolutely hated it. I think Tales is their greatest musical creation to date. I hated the fact that after Relayer, they changed. And in my opinion…not for the better. Don’t get me wrong, they were still crankin’ out hits and great music…just not my taste is all. Didn’t take me on that spiritual journey I became so expectedly familiar with…the ‘70’s yes was absolutely mind altering.
A Great moment sharing with you
Thank you for watching my friend
So nice to see you're doing this album, my all-time favorite. I saw how you reacted to "The Revealing . . . ." You get it. And now, The Remembering. After the song ended, you seemed a bit lost for words. I know exactly what that's about. I think the word you may have been looking for is "Transcendent." Yeah, you get it. I don't want to spoil anything here, but this whole album has a strong basic overtone. It's called, God. Yep, that's it. It's all there. Enjoy.
Listening to you , you need to listen to Going for the One title track, that gives you a visual which will cheer you right up.
If you continue on Tales, the next song will be the most experimental, The Ancient. Then it ends with one of the best Yes songs... Ritual.
I think Yes were meant to come to you, your perception of the music is evident, that you have a connection to it.
It’s a wonder to see. 😊
Great to see you react so positively to my favourite band and my favourite album (alternating with Yes’s Relayer to be fair). Hope you continue to find inspiration from their music as have I since 1973 👍
For more on the history of the Antarctic continent, check out At The Mountains of Madness, H. P. Lovecraft.
For many (even Yes fans) this album is too long-winded. "this could have been condensed into a single LP". I don't think a single note is too much on this album. On the one hand, because the topics change again and again, on the other, because especially in our hectic time a bit of slowness and linger is necessary.
Tighten the seat belts for side 3 though. It’s a challenge. Worth it.
Thanks
Thank you so much dylan!!
❤
❤
I am happy that you enjoy this album. This isn’t easy listening. My two favorite songs from this album are The Ancient and Ritual. If you want pure beauty and emotion I suggest. To Be Over from Relayer and Turn of the Century from Going for the One
And You And I, as well.
Great Video. Peace
Thank you for watching 😁
Saw it live bro 4 times
As I've said before YES will change your DNA : )
Rick has his Mander Pipe Organ!
When you get to the final track 'Ritual' make room for the live version from Yesshows. It's longer and even more bass and drums than the studio version.
Yes the greatest prog band
You ain't kidding bro.... top of the mountain here lol
hang in there mate
I've just been struck by how much the choral mellotron at the end reminds me of some Radiohead tracks (e.g exit music for a film).
Side one was the "most experimental" you've heard from them? We're all smiling at each other, knowing what's coming up on the next side. Just know there's a LOT to come in the next two tracks and we are having a blast watching you surf these interdimensional waves.
My favorite album for plane trips since I was about 10 years old :)
Sadly now I kinda associate it with nausea lol
David Bowie was asked once if the highs and lows of addiction were in a way better than the middle of something like Prozac. He unequivocally said that the middle ground beats those uncontrollable feelings hands down. And he’s one that would have known. Try Ashes to Ashes by Bowie about mostly cocaine😊😢
"Ancient memories" yeah these f-kers do that. lol Tales is not for everyone but it's always been top notch to me. Keep it up brother. Stay cool man.
Sorry for all you're going through. Try practicing The Wim Hof Method. It will help you to feel better, both physically and mentally.
Based on indu philosophy. 4 pillars...read the story
Dude...read "The Earth Chronicles'' series bt Zacharia Sitchin....will answer all.
