It breaks my heart knowing I've spent 1½years looking for a mid 50s chevy to restore and that one was 10x better than anything I could find, and that one went to the crusher That is a sin crushing that car

Thank you Thank you Thank you. He has a differrent flavor for this junk and it's really cool. Yes I can appreciate the old iron and steel, but I don't see it like that. Luckily we made a friendship despite it. I love the way he talks about cars. I just wish we didn't meet up at the tail end of the operation. He has saved 1 from the crusher but 1 man can only do so much. He's a damn good man. I've already said it but it's amazing that a man can have so much passion for something I destroy but he does not resent me the least bit. He is doing his best to give any old car it's last bit of glory before I send it to the shredder. My hat is off to him 👊
You're alot better at moving those cars then other guy's I've seen on here! You make it look super easy! I like the narration too. Loved when you said you were gonna squeeze the soil outta that Kia Soul.
Cowboy Car Crushing Doing pretty well brother Again sorry I’m just now seeing all your responses but all is well the yard is still open for business but only 3 days out of the week state law rules now since this Coronavirus going on. I can't even imagine what it would feel like to play demolition car crushing and to take out the anger and frustration on as many a car as possible. Has to be way up there on the awesome factor. Thanks for sharing friend and keep safe.
Bubba i won the lottery of 9 to 5's. It's not just the crushing part either. Sometimes you can find cool stuff in those junk cars. Also being a "mobile" job we go to some cool places. Really cool job. Thanks for watching and commenting 🤠👍
as a guy who struggles for money and also has a 87 vette and despratelly needs a driver side door and window but cant afford to pay the 600$ they want me to pay i cried a little when i watched u crush that one lol just kept thinking to myself bet i coulda got that for 50$.. then SMASH lmao
The usual thing - parts lay "for free" if someone doesn't know it's real price but if they are posted online then prices are usually like "collector's item"
In my experience junkyards are always looking for good help. Not saying you will go straight to running a loader but it's about getting your foot in the door
That red Eclipse ten seconds in looks like it still has a few good things on it to pick in the slight chance it's still there. People are starting to try and restore those cars now since the grand majority of them got riced out and beaten into the ground in the 2000s, so finding parts for them now is challenging and they can go for a pretty penny if you find someone who's looking for factory parts. If it's under your control, I'd recommend listing that thing up for a part out or selling that rear bumper and hatch. Might get yourself some money off of it, I dunno.
Jesus Christ. I sold a '50 Chevy way rougher than that for $2500. And do you know how damn long I looked for a good driver's vent window? I NEVER found one. What the frig. You can sell one of those cars down to literally nothing, every single part on it is sellable on the internet. Those doors are that body style only. $300 each no problem.
Hey here's a little trick if you rotate the wheel with the 1 lugnut to the top and take your fork and push at the top of the wheel while making sure the rotor is not hitting the floor of the crusher it will pop right off. You won't even have to put the lid down. And by the way anytime you are using the loader to "pry" anything make sure everyone is at a safe distance. I'm sure Mario doesn't want anything else flying through the air.
@@CowboyCarCrushing glad to pass along anything to help a fellow Car Crusher🙂 just make sure Mario has some safety glasses on being so close to the crusher while you are crushing sometimes the lugnut can come off with a good amount of force. You a need machine with a functional remote.

That C5 passenger glass was worth more then the metal in scrap lol. Derp
Exactly what I was thinking
It probably cost him money if you count the extra 50 gallon diesel to get 1 wheel off. 🤣
50 in diesel and made $721 on this video so far 🤷 money well spent 👍🤠
