This gives me some old Beatles vibes a bit. I grew up on that kind of music and its so nice to hear something new that takes me back.

its weird bc i know this song is originally written from the perspective of a parent watching their child grow up but having just turned 23 and moved halfway across the world for grad school, I cant help but hear in it a self reflective sadness about the passage of times in one's own life. the absentminded girlhood now gone.
either way, this abba song always gets me but its never made me cry in the way his cover of it did. amazing.
you put this into words so well. i'm 23 and about to finish my bachelor's degree in july, and it makes me want to hurl thinking about how time passes. where did all the time go? how am i suddenly here? i'm glad for all the experiences that i've had, but the way that time just flies still makes me tear up.

someone did an AI cover of Mccartney's vocals over this song and it sounded exactly like he did when he first sung it on an Instagram live. Even Declan was shocked himself lol

It goes without saying this man has been heavily influenced by young Beatles material. Tysm to his parents for exposing him to music before his time & nurturing his beautiful gift. Please get some other guys for a band and create a new beatle-esque band that can fill that very big emptiness that your cover really revealed in everybody! Your McCartney-like voice give me some of the biggest chills. Not belting out notes, not doing any crazy stuff. Just delivering me pure emotion.
