Oh goodness I needed this! I've osteoarthritis in my hip and my hip flexor seems to tighten and cause problems. I live alone and can't afford a massage as often as I need one. I've figured out some of what you show, but the bending the knee and raised leg are a game changer! Thank you so much! ♡♡♡
:) thank you! You’ve helped me a lot about two years ago and again now !
Great relief, thank you Spencer!
Thank you, I was searching for self abdominal massage videos! 😊😊

The facial hair looks really great. Very good look. I like mine like that, also.
Thanks so much Spencer!! I have ongoing back issues and pain due to an overworked and tight Psoas muscle and spend $$$$ getting it worked on. Will definitely be trying these techniques at home. 😊🤞🏻.

I think this may be what's wrong with me, especially with the strange chair I sit in. It's almost like I have a pain where my appendix is (I don't have one anymore) but it also affects my back in that I cant bend forward or to the left anymore.
Can someone share symptoms of tight psoas? Like how does it feel when it’s tight? After I had my last baby, I would get this like tight feeling or knot or something in the left side of my abdomen where it looks like this massage begins, but my doctors said it’s likely “gas” or bloating. I usually bloat all over, not just in that one spot. It comes and goes. Sometimes gas makes sense because it kind of comes on depending on what I eat. Ive wondered if it could be psoas related since I still have minor lingering hip issues also due to that pregnancy. I heard psoas can also affect digestion/gas/bloating. 🤷🏻♀️ Thanks for any advice!
I have loose skin from weight loss around this area and it’s hard to get to the muscle
How to reach other end of the psoas in the groin? My tightness is all in there. No tension in the upper area
I'm afraid to press the lymphnodes there
Salamat po!
Thanks Spencer, but I'm having trouble finding the abdominal muscles due to my obesity. :(
All I released was a elephant sized bowel movement. Thanks!
Semper29ify did you weigh yourself afterward?
@@leticiagerardo9747 Yes, I'm as heavy as a tic-tac now.

Such an adorable little belly button and stomach lol so cute
I clicked because of the punny wordplay. 😁
Another good video. You might consider wearing long, dark socks, with a nice but comfortable dress shoe. Would complete the ensemble a little better. Thanks for teaching us!
MJ B absolutely nobody bases their opinion on their massage therapist based on the therapists choice of footwear....
MJ B Weirdest comment ever.
Is anybody solved iliopsoas problem with massage or stretch? I have been trying for years and with no success. I think this is stress related and cannot be solved phisicaly. Change my mind.
I'm pretty sure my grandpa does this to himself when sitting in his recliner. He's always scratching and pushing on his lower belly like that when he watches TV...
😂
Effluage? Ya wot?
