TRAINLI TV: S-KUPLIX COUPLERS PRODUCT INSTALLATION

LGB Hook and Loop coupler are wider than S-Kuplix couplers. In order for engine and cars to go through smaller curves the trucks have to reach out further than in large curves. The wider the loop is the more it has to be extended from the body frame in order to be able to pivot out enough for the cars no to derail. Therefore the distance between the cars is larger and gives a less prototypical impression. The narrower S-Kuplix design allows for short coupling of cars because the narrower loop hit the pivot limits later.
