F2p is more fun considering you don't have to feel pressured to make gains. Especially after already getting max cmb plus 99 range on fire giants before hunter ever existed then rushing to get dungoneering. More chill on f2p now a days just login fly fish and kill ogresses. Wish they had msb and d long n dds f2p that would be super nostalgic. However f2p pk is in a poor state.
I started my f2p Ironman a year ago, got 80+ Magic banked, almost 99 Ranged and 40mil cash pile to 99 magic and possible buyables, my take is, it's is worth, but my 2nd take is only if you have 15000hours to spare, if your thoughts are anywhere near maxing combat or skills, if not, still would advise to those who can't play p2p and don't like f2p regular mode, the map feels bigger when you have to do everything on your own, even the f2p zone. P.S: I also learned to feel the need to bury every single bone.
Sometimes, but it's very rare these days. All main clans/teams ended up killing eachother off due to toxic in-and out-off game behaviour, or switched into P2P. If you're into F2P group PKing, you're sadly better off with a pure, although you'll still find some mains around Rune Rocks and Chaos Temple.
I chose the iron man where if I die I'll become a normal iron man, I've started playing f2p because I just want to check if I like it. I'm quite hooked atm lol
I'm sticking with f2p on my current ironman until I get the stats I want. I'm going for 50 combat with round stats, and enough mining/smithing to build the rune gear I will wear. Not having a coal bag is going to kill me. I will also get decent fishing and cooking for good food. I think I will also get some decent crafting and rune crafting.

Much prefer playing on console with my friends on social games but hcim f2p will be a nice switch. I'm enjoying it more than my f2p higher level account
in my opinion f2p doesn't need any new content or tweaks, it's a grind yes. but the f2p was never meant to be a game on it's own, it's meant to be a segway into members aka the p2p part. if they would make it easier for f2p players to gain money and skill faster, bots would just take over and make it a nightmare since they are able to make money as well, so it ruins the experience. and if u rly want to sustain urself with bonds, buy 1 month member and than you can easy sustain an account with a bond (my alt makes enough to buy a bond for my main and for the alt itself + around 1-2m profit as well in 2 weeks, i play around 1-2 hours a day)
i understand wanting to play a HCIM or UIM but i have no earthy idea why someone would elect to basically play singleplayer osrs with a bank. thats like a deaf person spending his entire life learning audio editing software.

Haha! Perfect
What the heck Anthony? Did you make a new youtube channel and start all over again or did I miss something on your main channel?
Hi Marc, yes indeed! This is my new channel, I needed a fresh start. How did you find me?! :D
@@VannakaOSRS not sure to be honest, was just browsing youtube when this video popped up. I instantly knew who you were by your voice. I've been watching your video's for ages on 'Anthony OSRS' I absolutely loved your content. Haven't heard of you in ages.. still waiting on those Raid video's after your Road to Raids..
Haha, that’s amazing! I’m sorry about the road to raids. I have no plans for them at the moment. But on this channel I will still upload videos. Thanks for watching man :)
@@VannakaOSRS that makes me wonder what happened to that channel and your motivation etc. What made you not want to finish a great series.. you had a channel with nice content.. why did you decide to stop with the channel all of a sudden and start on a new channel with no subs etc? Or do you actually enjoy not having as much subs as you had? Maybe you did explain all of this.. Then I have missed it
What would the time for maxing our a member account, cause if it’s like 1/2 the time I might just start grinding money HARD in my main account
I’m not sure exactly, but yes it’s probably like 2.000 hours instead of 8.000
Why would it take longer to max a hardcore ironman compared to a normal one?
TorchbaneLP Training runecrafting for max XP per hour in F2P requires the suicide method, which you cannot do on a Hardcore Ironman
Ah that makes more sense. And you can do it... once.
TorchbaneLP 😂
thats how i got addicted to ironman completed all f2p quests got most of the stats 40+ then I felt like its time to upgrade
whats you opinion on the Barronite mace? does it fill the void of the rune scimmy? i am a free to play ironman :)
I'll be honest with you, I haven't played F2P in a while. I have no idea!
Made me see the game in a different way. made me realise how much shit the DEVs put in the game that i avoid at all costs but actually do them as a iron-man/UM. and its fun as fuck
Didn't you have a different channel named Oldschool Runescape Vids or something like that?
Dardy Lumani That is right! I used to be OldSchoolRsVids, now Avanko OSRS. :)
Hey bro, could you make a f2p ironman(low level) money making video?
Definitely! I will put it on the list :)
OnFight1997 I can only agree with you! Great achievements on your f2p ironman too. People, listen to this man 🙌🏻
Why not make it a member? Just wondering.
@@pokris3385 I have a member ironman with 99 ranges I don't need 2 of those, specially after 1600hours of grinding that much
Is there still wilderness wars/rune wars rs07 f2p?
Sometimes, but it's very rare these days.
All main clans/teams ended up killing eachother off due to toxic in-and out-off game behaviour, or switched into P2P.
If you're into F2P group PKing, you're sadly better off with a pure, although you'll still find some mains around Rune Rocks and Chaos Temple.
@@MrFullmetaljacket i think sundays there is still some clan wars f2p? 🤔
I chose the iron man where if I die I'll become a normal iron man, I've started playing f2p because I just want to check if I like it. I'm quite hooked atm lol
Haha, A Hardcore Ironman I see! Good luck my man :)
new slayer vid when ya slacker!
I have a f2p only uim, and I disliked w 385 cc.
Enjoy my f2p uim from time to time, but mostly play the main now
Ah! I've never played a UIM before. I might actually give it a try sometime :)
No
Just started my f2p ironman today
Good luck Tuguro!
For me personally. I do some early grind in f2p. Then buy membership
Completely reasonable :)
What if everyone used in-game money for bonds?
Very interesting. But that would make the price of bonds rise, and this would make it more attractive to buy bonds with real money!
is this will miss it
Subbed. Nice soothing voice for me to listen to while I sleep (no homo)
Haha, perfectly fine brother! Thanks :D
i just started a f2p ironman love ur vids surprised you dont have more views!
NegroLamb Ooh wow! That’s great man! Amazing to hear! Let’s hope we will get more views in the future! :)
are you anthony ? used to be oldschoolrsvids?????
Cumba Yes buddy, that’s me! :-)
@@VannakaOSRS awesome bro i was so pissed when u stopped making vids on there, just started binge watching your hcim series, you have that entertainment voice/style about you. keep at it this time man
@@9jessse8 Thank you Cumba! I'm sorry to have let you down before. Let's just say that it had a very good reason but now I'm back and I will try my best to upload videos weekly! I'm happy to hear you enjoy my vids and my voice man!!
Just droppin a comment
I’m dropping a reply too then!
Trying HCIM f2p, don't want to pay for rs anymore as I dont think its worth it. I just like a grind now and then after work. Playing since 2005/6 on and off. Much prefer playing on console with my friends on social games but hcim f2p will be a nice switch. I'm enjoying it more than my f2p higher level account
Then this is a great choice man. Have fun and play whenever you want, totally for free. Enjoy and good luck!
Miss this game
Ho Lee Fock :)
So play.
good video
Thank you!
F2P ironman is super fun!
Definitely!!
in my opinion f2p doesn't need any new content or tweaks, it's a grind yes. but the f2p was never meant to be a game on it's own, it's meant to be a segway into members aka the p2p part.
if they would make it easier for f2p players to gain money and skill faster, bots would just take over and make it a nightmare since they are able to make money as well, so it ruins the experience.
and if u rly want to sustain urself with bonds, buy 1 month member and than you can easy sustain an account with a bond (my alt makes enough to buy a bond for my main and for the alt itself + around 1-2m profit as well in 2 weeks, i play around 1-2 hours a day)
You're right! I stated it in the video too, F2P is basically just a ''demo''. Some people really enjoying it though!
i understand wanting to play a HCIM or UIM but i have no earthy idea why someone would elect to basically play singleplayer osrs with a bank. thats like a deaf person spending his entire life learning audio editing software.
what is this game name?
Old School RuneScape
Ok the moneymaker for f2p ironman is to sell to bandit camp, it's what made me quit my f2p iron
At the lower levels it is a good way, but you will make much more money at ogresses later on. Don't worry!
@@VannakaOSRS I quit my f2p Iron way earlier than ogresses release, looked up and I am down to try again
0:30 I see what you did there.
starting f2p ironman b/c im burnt on my main.
Loads of fun!
Plots twist: Jagex is actually the botters
Made a f2p HCIM and died to a DC at Obor. Good times.
Rip :(
F2P iron man? Not enough content/too easy.
F2P Ultimate iron man? Hell yeah man!
Just set not too far goals, such as completing all quests. Or killing all F2P bosses. Or smithing you’re own rune scim (if you are one of those maniacs).
I'm having loads of fun on my F2P HCIM though! But I agree with the goals.
Anthony is that you?
Hey Mason! Yep, it’s me! :)
@@VannakaOSRS hey man! Super happy to see you playing again. I hope life and runescape are treating you well. I've already watched all of your F2P hardcore ironman videos after finding your new channel yesterday lol. How come you didnt tell people you started a new channel? There are a lot of people missing your great content.
Thanks Mason, life can’t be better at the moment. Except from the virus of course... I needed a fresh start and I used this channel to test if I could get subscribers again from zero on a new channel. And now it seems to work!
Thanks so much for watching man, I’m happy you found my channel again :)
You can get rune scim from hill giants boss
Unfortunately only the longsword, weapon wise. The Rune scimitar can only be obtained through smithing.
I found a way to get power amulet without 70 crafting
:o how?
Vannaka can’t you buy diamond amulets from the jewelry shop in port sarim? Then you only need 57 magic to enchant it
@@oilcorn900 The only problem with this is that they have 0 in stock. And if someone sells one to the store, you can't buy it because it'd be overstocked!
Vannaka ahhh I see, so you still need to get 70 crafting
@@oilcorn900 Yep...
