100% agree. Stayed there 3 nights in Apr. walked thru Lux plenty previously but always thought it was kinda crummy. Was VERY pleasantly surprised by how much I enjoyed staying there. Solid pool situations and some real good bars (with happy hours). Go Lux

Good video. I think Luxor can be a good lower priced option for some people and it's a "real hotel" in that sense (unlike Excalibur, Circus Circus, which are just bottom of the barrel). The location is the downside but the trams help get you further north on the strip for walking and sightseeing. It is a cool design and indoor space. I wonder if the Mexican restaurant is worth the trip or are the mid-strip Mexican better.
Great insight! We’ve been to the Mexican spot several times, BUT I wouldn’t go out of my way to go there from mid strip. It is good and we do hit them up if we’re at Mandalay Bay, Excalibur or NYNY
This is one of the best budget friendly hotels on the strip. The rooms have been remodeled, the pool is always fun and you can walk to Mandalay Bay and Excalibur without going outside! Also, lots of ding options between Mandalay Bay and Luxor!
Luxar has lost its luster,since there stuff that made luxur a icon is nothing but a shell of its former self. Iy had a sense af wonder when it had that equiptain theme.
We were married at the Chapel @ Luxor in 2015 and had our reception at a private area inside Tender steakhouse. It was amazing . We are from Minnesota and I had never been to Vegas before, our trip next week will be our 22nd Vegas trip since September 2015 including not visiting for over a year during covid. I married my best friend and fell in Love with Vegas.................Unfortunately CTOP always take Memorial Day week off as we would love to see him again, maybe during our October trip.
Small world! We lived in Duluth Minnesota when we got married in Vegas… Fast forward to now and we live in Vegas. Love the city. We go back to visit family in August because it seems that when we would get at least two weeks of decent weather. 😂
Luxor always gives me the creeps. I will be there next week to see Carrot Top for the first time. Start my two week annual trip since 1977. My happy place, from New Jersey,looking forward to my 86th visit.

Not much there to do🤷♂️ was there and paid boocoo bucks for food and not interested in the the blue man group🤷♂️ what you’re calling “Restaurants” usptors is hot dogs pizza and hamburgers🤣🤣🤣🤣 don’t waste your money people, go to a place just outside of vegas where they have pools hot tubs and buffets that are still $9,99 not $35!!!!!! We had a great view of the Spynx and airport from our 14th floor room and sunsets were fabulous but the room didn’t even have a coffeemaker🤷♂️
There is much more than just hotdogs, hamburgers and pizza, but hey its not for everyone.I believe that Johnny Rockets that you're referencing. Have you been to Diablos Cantina or any of the restaurants downstairs like The Pub?
I wouldn't spend a nickel on anyplace with those preserved Chinese bodies on display. They were originally peddled as educational to museums, until the scientists who worked at museums question why almost all the people were perfect specimens, and speculated the prisoners were killed to populate the exhibition , unlike the Natural deaths claimed . With China controlling the facts, reputable museums wouldn't have them , so now they are tourist attractions only. I don't want to support any of that. I am surprised that anyone wanting to gamble would want to get involved with anyplace displaying murder victims, or, if you believe the chinese, murderers, forever preserved in plastic. That sounds like a plot to a horror movie. I always thought gamblers were very superstitious.

Although Park is our favorite because of location, I must prefer the tower rooms at Luxor. Very underrated property.

I’ve never stayed there but have always wanted to. I’ve heard lots of positive things.

I bought my Carrot Top tickets through MGM. Great seats in the middle of theater for around $50 including fees comedy is a good thing.
