I just got my Noble Collection of Jumanji game board not few days ago and after seeing this I really wish I got the kit for it as I remember watching the film when I was a kid but I still try find a way of getting something to modified my replica the game but it not easy to find any in UK or any way I know in fact but still fanstantc work on Noble collection board game replica though !

You should do a collaboration with the UA-camr Steven Richter. He made a board from scratch that looks so much better than anything else. With your combined powers you could make the most authentic REAL and working Jumanji board! Oh please oh please do it!

I almost bought this but I think it is just software and instructions on how to modify your own game board if u have one. Not sure but I did send you a msg on Etsy and waiting for a reply. If it is a game board all set up and ready to go then I would buy this in a heart beat.

I had someone ask if the dome could face the player who rolls. I’m working on a way for this to work.
Very tempting but I don’t have any skills with technology and I’m not sure if I can even afford a diy kit at this time and even if I eventually could afford one they’ll probably be out of stock by the time I could afford one and have the technology skill to handle it without accidentally breaking it in the process of installing it

I have a question about the DIY kit. I might be interested in changing the language. with which program are the animation videos made and would you get the files? + can the code be viewed and changed? --> In any case, this is the best digital implementation I've seen. The whole thing looks very smothe and very high quality.

I'm so tempted to buy this but I have neither a proper board or knowledge of electronics at all. On the off chance I decide to pick this up, how hard would it be for a beginner to try this?
I wouldnt say you need any experience in electronics. You just need to follow instructions and be able to use basic hand tools

It’s a lot of work to translate but can be done. I do have them translated to French.

i see you added in riddles from the original board game, but i'm curious, what about other dangers like earthquake or the jungle and hunter dangers from the noble collection?
Yes they are all in there. 50 in total

Similar to the Noble gameplay. For hunter, there are 5 instances I believe. If you do not win the roll you are trapped until double are rolled. Jungle traps you until 5 or 8 is rolled like in the movie

@@danieldirocco2126 although i don't have an interest in physically modify my copy of the game, i am interested in the alternative game play with the riddles, and i had a thought for how to do it on excel, if you are willing to share the riddles. i will understand if you don't want to share them

I would be more than happy to buy your kit on Etsy but just want to know what I’m getting into in case I’m not capable. Do you have any videos of you actually doing the work? I’m an attorney by profession and don’t have a huge amount of free time for trial and error. With your Etsy kit and included list is it pretty straight forward?
Hi. It just requires some basic knowledge of electronics and hand tools. A little tinkering will definitely be required. I wouldn’t say it’s difficult but does take some time to complete.

but never give up on the idea and if you do manage to do it that’ll be one of the greatest jumanji boards since the original and i honestly think you can do it

I may be a little confused so bare with me. The kit is the sensors that go under the track, the instructions on a USB drive, and the SD card with the software. So what are the other components that you have to buy? I'm just trying to get my bearing on what else is needed before I jump in and buy the kit. I'm assuming the other stuff that's needed is a raspberry pie board, speaker, charging port with charger, pushbutton for power, battery, LCD screen, and.....that's it? Also, do you have plans on updating the amount of puzzles over time? And would that be as simple as just removing the SD card and downloading an update? I know 50 riddles is already a lot but.....you know.....more is better, lol.
My biggest grip with the Noble Collection board is that they put the little collection boxes below the words instead of above them. When making a replica.....you kind of don't want to mess something like that up, lol. But hey, I could learn to overlook it.
Hi there. Yes you basically have that correct on what’s needed. Software can be updated over time by switching out the SD card for sure. I don’t currently have plans to make more riddles but it could certainly be done. As far as the mix up on the side labels….you can peel these off and flip them if you are concerned about it. Also, the kit has printable labels that can be placed over in the correct orientation if desired.
@@danieldirocco2126 thanks for the swift reply. I used to do Arduino projects YEARS ago but i'm sure it'll be easy to pick back up where I left off when it comes to putting everything together. I'm now mad that I sold off my projects because I totally could have scrapped them and taken the parts from them. I think the only thing I have left over a speaker and some wires. I'll have to see just how much my wife loves me for Christmas this year, lol.
And i'm glad to hear about how the side labels can be removed and rotated. I know the NC board isn't a 100% replica but for some reason that was the only thing that really bothered me, lol. But yeah, you got a future customer here! You did an awesome job on this and can't wait to purchase this stuff and get it going. My wife and I play board games with another married couple we're super close to every Saturday night so I can't wait to blow their minds with this!

@@danieldirocco2126 I'm going to be getting the Raspberry Pi 4 Model B when it comes back in stock. Would the 4GB RAM option be overkill for this project? I keep going back and forth between the 2 and 4 gig option.
@@jazzcat9363 definitely overkill. I used the 1 gb version until it was discontinued. The pi3 A+ is also fine
