Ok so ive been playing this game with my family for a week now. So much fun to play the game as designed but we wanted to change it up and compete against each other. So heres what i came up with which i think others may find enjoyable. First you have to remove story chellenges that have no chellenges and the animal "charades" cards. 1. Use one dice. 2. Have 5 lives each. 3. If you guess a puzzle (the hidden writting on back of card) incorrectly you go back 2 spaces (or for veteran level lose a life) 4. Chellenges that require a partner you choose a partner and they must complete the chellenge with you at the risk of losing a life. 5. Chellenges that require all players means all players risk losing lives.
I do recommend to play with only one dice. As a family of four playing with two dice after only two not even full turns the game was over. My daughter hit a 6-6 and than 5-6 and next round the game was over
I have one question. What happens when I solve the riddle incorrectly? Do I immediately lose my life or do I move on to the challenge anyway? Thanks for help! 🙏

When do you use the challenge dice and how do you use them? There is nothing in the instructions about them. Also what happens when you land on the water space or fire space?
Yup, instructions are basically unusable. Didn't tell properly how to play the game. What happens if you can't figure out the riddle, when you lose life token etc...
@@ashiquor rules say you advance 1 space if you solve the riddle; ergo not solving it means you don't advance. When you lose a life token is explained as well, everyone loses if a player runs out of tokens (players can transfer tokens to other players).

I want the Lion Token Idol to ACTUALLY be added to the Animal Token Idol Lineup, along with keeping the Crocodile Token Idol, the Elephant Token Idol, the Monkey Token Idol, AND the Rhinoceros Token Idol in that lineup, as a FIFTH token option for the Jumanji Board Game FOR REAL AND FOR GOO ONE DAY!
My partner and i played, so 2 players. We finished the game in 5 minutes. Im trying to figure out how to slow down the game. Perhaps if you guess the chellenge card wrong you go back one space and no going forward one space for guessing right
Do i have to enter the temple by thriwing the exact number of steps required me to enter it or i can enter by throwing a higher or equal number? Eg. 2 steps to the temple, inckusive being in the temple itself, and i throw a 4. Can i enter or im out as many round till i throw a 2?
I just played this ,UK version. The challenge cards were really difficult to read The additional challenge dice don't really make the game anymore interesting I'm.afraid. I see the game is overall good but it could be much better similar to snakes and ladders with challenges across the way
Bought the Mexican version. Riddles get a bit lost in translation, but after playing it once, it seems fun. Maybe someone from Miami or San Juan translated it.
The cards are almost all geared toward 5-year-olds. I wish there was a more mature version that involved counting backwards by sevens, spelling words backward, rolling a series of dice etc. I was very disappointed in this game. A complete waste of money. I've started writing my own texts to go with the cards similar to the questions found on the tv gameshow Cash Cab instead of the childish crap given by the maker.
Played it with our family and loved it. The nervousness of what challenge you get gives it the perfect feel. We cheered and laughed a lot!

in the Australian version, the green dome is a red colour
It's like that here in the US now. The red dome was a change made due to complaints about not being able to read the cards on the green dome.

Hello there, the riddle cards do not reveal themselves when I put them in to the decoder. Impossible to read. Is there a knack to it?
Light. During the day you can read them fine... but at night, only with strong ambient light or a flash light.

When needed, the challenge will direct you on how to use that particular die.
