Probably my fav rig of all time but also a pain to tie, I'm waiting for the day you release the completed rig in a 3 pack unless I've missed a trick and you already have.
@@jimwocha4949 I KNOW LOL ITS OK IF YOU ARE JUST STARTING OUT BUT YOU WILL NEVER LEARN ANYTHING BUYING READY TIED RIGS AND THE KIDS GET CAUGHT UP IN THE HYPE ESPECIALLY WHEN THEY WATCH THINKING TACKLE AND THINK BECAUSE THEY BUY KORDA TACKLE THEY WILL CATCH BIG FISH SAME AS DROPPING THE LEADS GOOD ADVICE IF YOU HAPPEN TO SELL THEM 🙄 I HAVE MANAGED TO FISH FOR NEARLY FIFTY YEARS WITHOUT DROPPING THEM WITHOUT ANY PROBLEMS
And how is your lead positioned on your rig? Do you use a lead clip? I’m going to assume so in this case. Because you aren’t supposed to use it just as a lead system to hold the lead, it’s a system that’s supposed to drop the lead, as if you push the tail rubber all the way on, the lead will never come off and if you snap off or lose a carp then it will never be able to rid itself of the leader and hooklength. Same with a helicopter rig but if your dropping the lead. The fish can’t pull the hook link off the leader because there is no resistance.
I have to admit that is fsr easier when you've just had one than tying an all bright knit also booms will last forever pretty much like stiff hinge booms 👍 great idea
I don't think threading the pva bag like this is a good idea unless it's filled with something very fine like ground bait. You can perfectly see in this video how pellets completely cover the hook and when carp tries to take the hook bait it might prevent from going into it's mouth. I just hook my pva offering to my hook and use other means of anti tangle remedies.
this is just korda trying to sell you stuff. yes the rigs work. yes they are perfect for beginners. yes they are stupidly overpriced. yes korda does give some decent tips but just because you use the rig they do doesn't mean you can go and fish stupidly hard water and catch big fish. to be able to go to the places they go and get the results they do it takes years of practice. this is not me having a go at korda I completely understand it is a business and they need to make money but people need to use their head. I am not saying that I can get the results they do or go to the waters they fish but I know people who can and they have always told me it takes work.
But, on the other hand it’s 2021, nip to Argos get a three rod setup, and catch 40s/ 50s and sixties down south. Meanwhile up north, lads have been carp fishing since 1986 and never caught a thirty, let alone a forty. Carp fishing is a great leveller. Cockneys would NOT come up north to catch a Cheshire thirty. DOES NOT happen
Ever since Rob taught me what I was doing wrong my fishing has become alot easier and simpler thanks to all your guys at korda for all your hard work
Great video
Can this rig be used at range or will the bag slide off the rig?
Big help cheers mate
This might sound daft but I'm guessing you won't be able to use this rig in a pva bag due to the boom see section?

While the bell ends complain, Korda makes money 😂
can you use combirigs on snowman?
Yes, you would obviously need to tie a longer hair to accommodate both baits.

If you use this rig with a helicopter set up you won’t need to worry about adding a pva bag to the rig if you didn’t want to …
To much ready tied gear around.anyone starting out can just go buy then go fish for a 40 not even having doubles. Good ol korda NOT
Not proper fishing is it all out the packet....after 40 years carp fishing its all gone to shit in my eyes. Sad.
Rob really sound like Gordon Ramsay
