I have had pretty good luck in SW as far as violators go. The first trip we had a group of 4 and the first campsite we had a reservation for was taken by another group. It was one of the double sites and we said as long as we could find places to hang 4 hammocks we would switch with them. They had tents and their site wasn’t as accommodating for the size of the tents they had. Not sure what would have happened if we couldn’t find decent hang spots. It worked out though.
I think there are a fair amount of people that just don't read the rules. With the entrance being shut down for the last few years, they are also not talking with anyone from the Forest Service. It was sure nice of them to trade sites with you. It is always better to setup further back in the wood if you can't find a place. Thanks for watching!
I discovered the SW many years after I should have, but can't wait to get there this summer, a couple times! Have enjoyed finding your channel!
I am happy you discovered both. Thanks for watching!
I've never heard of this wilderness but it looks interesting.
Thanks for sharing this with us.
Thanks for watching!
Very good list!! J & C
Glad you enjoyed it
It’s so frustrating that people can’t follow simple and common sense rule.
It sure is. I know that there is currently an issue with people having campfires outside of designated campfire rings.
Thank goodness for Spam singles, LOL!
I’m more into chicken or tuna myself!
