    I'm giving my vote to Alissa. Thank you for the great content and teaching. I loved watching you two work together on that last image, if it would have counted...Sal would have got the vote for that one.

    Thank you for letting us all be a fly on the wall to these fun photoshoots! I gotta go with Alissa on this one... loved her pose... but she sent me with the 'I'm not techie' line!! My assistants get use to words like 'dingins' and 'do-ma-hicky' on my sessions!!

    LOL! I feel you Alissa! All the moving stuff around and stress under pressure, getting flustered, but overcoming and the two of you going at it. . . and somehow still getting along. Amazing. LOL! I enjoy seeing the struggle that goes into great artistry, makes me feel like I'm not the only one, normalizes what it takes to create on the higher levels.

    Happy Holidays to both and can’t wait to see the edited photos. Premeturally until then I would say Alyssa’s posing, lighting and contrast worked, while Sal’s closeup work (0032) was inviting and contouring.

    I was wondering Sal have you ever set your exposure with a light meter then took a picture with the target card. And then compared the white to see how close it was to 90?

    It's all great and fun too, but where are the strobe packs 'n heads of yesterdecades (over 40 years ago already) with their "proportional modeling" lights?
    Where the "modeling light" was continuous, and proportional to the flash level. Where the heads between them had proportionality too.
    So you could actually see what you were doing before the flash. No spray & pray, no chimping. It was film anyway.
    It seems technologically so easy to have proportional modeling light in our cable-less monoheads too.
    But nobody cares at the God Ox manufacturer's or "Pro" foto - because there doesn't seem to be a need.
    The only thing that changes relative to the modeling light, when the flash is fired, is that contrast (pop) increases. But shade and shadows keep their transitions.

    Alissa kilt it! Loved both shots, but the way my creative is setup especially during a challenge.....DON'T STEP ON MY TOES! 😂 Critique yourself not me! I think Sal knew Alissa won so he came in hating with the, "you missed this and that" 😅
    And then Sal tried to bite off Alissa setup and it wasn't a good shot. I didn't like the harsh lighting and shadows he created.
    This was over-all fun to watch tho and I'm 1 year too late😂

    Alissa’s image crushes Sal’s. Sal’s pose is stiff and unnatural. Godox has had these exact lights for over a year! I got some on Black Friday from Adorama for $150! Godox ML 60 Bi Color. I’m happy Westcott is finally catching up to other companies but their most recent products just seem to me like more expensive copies of Godox products.

    • @SalCincotta1
      @SalCincotta1  2 роки тому +1

      Maybe. But better quality build. Better and more consistent color of light and better warranty. So… yeah I’m glad they're catching up too :)

    Seems like one of the contestants got more time and already had had 10 minutes looking at the work of the other to think about how to do it differently. Also seems like one of the two is a bit of a softie. And one of the two has difficulties with the word "no". And some of the debate about the process seems like quarreling. Of course this has nothing to do with Alissa and Sal, but rather with the seven tiny men with little pointy red hats in their household and studio.
