I will never forget I was at a party I was 18 and people were drinking all the guys were trying to get laid all of sudden teen spirit began to play the party instantly became Sodom and Gomorrah that song really resonates with teens and rebellion.I am sure Kurt would hate this story.

I got drawn to them via this song in more recent times, after hearing it repeatedly in a Virtual Reality space - and I now know Kurt expressed an interest in VR which was just beginning to emerge in the nineties. As a visual artist he'd have probably created something weird and wonderful in this medium.
It was Kurt's 1993 interview at the Edgewater Hotel that really drew me to him, and I have also discovered their other songs and covers.
Something in The Way has now had a lot of exposure via the Batman movie, where the central character is based on Kurt, and I think the orchestral arrangement based on its melody is really powerful and atmospheric.
