70 is very high for poultry eggs. I dry hatch with mine. And add a little water on day of rest. I aim for 55%. Many don't add water at all and have great results.
It stays worm for hours and won’t affect the eggs. We don’t get many power cuts here tbh but if we did for longer than a couple of hours you would need a generator I guess until power comes back

There is something wrong with this machine when it comes to the egg turning becouse it never works as it should be.
So how to get 70% humidity for hatching while the setters need to be about 50% Humidity?

I set humidity at atbout 50-55 % the humidity naturally gos up and up as the eggs begin to hatch
