Nice and easy to follow with, I just installed my Sena 20S tonight with your video. I looked at the Sena video and it was OK but other than a nod of "if you are using a modular helmet then use the wired mic" and that the was last thing he said about it. I figured out the speakers but really needed some more in depth help with the mic. It took me a lot long longer than I expected to install it but I did it and all by myself with some visual help from you. Thanks!
Thanks for the step by step easy to follow instructions. I just ordered a modular helmet and will be switching my Sena to the new helmet when it arrives.
great video helped me get it fit to my Shoei Neotech 2 .(yes I know there is one specially for this helmet but this unit plugs into a Goldwing gl1500, so took a little extra to get it right.. thanks again
Thank you! None of the installation vids I found for the SENA 10H used a modular helmet. They didn't change the underlying architecture all that much between the 2 models so this filled in the missing pieces quite nicely.
Great video. Best one I've seen on the 20S so far. You had great pointers in this. I just finished installing my 20s in my Scorpion EXO-GT3000. Your vid made a huge difference. Thanks!
Nice video. One of the circular pads wouldn't stick to the speaker (at all)...it sticks to every inch of padding though. I'm very irritated with Sena at the moment.
Are these Sena’s voice activated. What’s the difference in the two mics. Do they still send the small mic you Velcro in front of your mouth instead of the boom. Great install video.
@@Jimbobd421 Each have their application. The boom mic is what Sena says to use when ever possible. The wired one for full face. The smaller skinny is for modular. He switched it because he knew which he needed because of his previous install on his helmet
good vid andrew....as you know i have questions about this....does the standard boom fall short being directly in front of your mouth? that is a concern to me.
you maybe wouldn't need to but you'll get allot more background noise without it. and probably undesirable noises like popping sounds on some of your words.
That is strange, I would contact Sena..they should be able to straighten you out. I don't think I can be much help with trouble shooting because I rarely use my Sena for music. Sorry! Definitely contact Sena.
Thanks for uploading this. Do you use earplugs? I use foam earplugs and I read the 20S does not get loud enough, even on max volume (but makes the beeps way too loud)
So I just got this and the 20S. How do I get the prism tube video and the audio from my Sena 20S into one video? Like how do I record what I say on the 20S with the video from the prism?
+Tom Bousquet depends on the situation, where I'm going or coming from. if its a long ride I'll pull off the road hopefully before I actually run into rain and put some rain gear on. If I'm close to home I just ride through. I actually kind of enjoy riding through rain if I'm heading home so I don't have to wear wet clothes all day. long trips through rain do not necessarily require rain gear but man it makes life more bearable.
+Touring Midwest but rain as far as the sena 20 s is concerned. Have u experienced any malfuctions because of moisture, either penetrating the wheel of the reciever or any corosion of the speaker jacks? If so, what would u recommend 2 prevent that from becoming a problem?
+Tom Bousquet I'm sorry that was my bad I misunderstood your question. well there seems to be some debate on this, the system is designed to be water resistant but you have to make sure all of the rubber covers are closed up tight. I guess there are some folks experiencing issues after riding through rain and the unit getting to wet, however I have have ridden through allot of rain some where we we're soaked from head to foot for most of the trip and mine has continually worked with no issues.

Awesome, I'm glad I could help.
This is why I do what I do!

thank you for watching,
I really appreciate your comment.
Great video. I just ordered the Sena 20S and it should be here tomorrow. Your video gave me a good head start on the install. Thanks!
No problem Kevin, glad I could help!
Thank you for the thorough instructions, made installation so much easier. Much more helpful than Sena's own instruction video. Thank you!
No problem, I'm glad to help.
great video, clear voice, great lighting, and precise instructions.... perfect !
+Andrew Holland thank you for the compliment.
I installed my 20S w/ the help of your video. I had 2 use the sticky mount rather than the clamp though. Ty4 the video.
+Tom Bousquet Im Glad I could help,
I think you'll be happy with the 20S.
I really appreciate you checking out the channel, ride safe!
Touring Midwest can sena be installed in Roof Boxxer Helmet ?
I am not sure, that thing looks pretty wild.
Twist the tab to release the mic for the swap (20s Evo)

Thanks for the info!
No problem
Helpful tutorial, I couldn't understand why the extra microphones.
Thank you.
So let me get this straight....you want to talk to your wife? LOL
just curious, why did you take the first mic out of the clamp and put the second one in. Did you have to do that ? Thanks for the video.
yep, it comes with a few different mics for various applications, I'm using the wired boom mic for my modular helmets.
Are these Sena’s voice activated. What’s the difference in the two mics. Do they still send the small mic you Velcro in front of your mouth instead of the boom. Great install video.

Thanks for the tips!
You are welcome. Thank you for watching.
Thinking about getting the 20s. Any opinions on the sound quality when listening to music.
Sam, to be honest I have never used it for music personally. I've heard that it's decent but I've never tried it out for myself.
Very helpful. Thanks!
good vid andrew....as you know i have questions about this....does the standard boom fall short being directly in front of your mouth? that is a concern to me.
+MemphisMike I use the wired boom if I remember correctly and that you can position right where you need it.
Do you have to use the sponge on the mic? I have a Shoei modular and there isn't a lot of room inside the helmet.
you maybe wouldn't need to but you'll get allot more background noise without it.
and probably undesirable noises like popping sounds on some of your words.
When you are riding at 65 mph, do you hear something ? With the wind, I am not able to hear radio,or music with this kind of helmet.
I can hear my stereo but I have a really good system on my bike so it's probably not a very good comparison LoL
Touring Midwest I have the HD boombox with the sena20s Evo! So, where is the problem ?
Oh I misunderstood you i think. Your trying to hear through the Sena headset? I wasn't thinking LoL. You get no sound at all or just poor sound?
Touring Midwest at the moment I accelerate the sound is going low. Standstill, the sound is perfect. Very weird.
That is strange, I would contact Sena..they should be able to straighten you out. I don't think I can be much help with trouble shooting because I rarely use my Sena for music. Sorry! Definitely contact Sena.
Thanks man. Prefect video.
+Melvin Jacobs thank you
Touring Midwest Your very welcome sir.
thanks for the help buddy 😊
absolutely no problem, glad I could help.
Thanks for the how to video. used it to install ours. 🖒
Very glad the video helped you out, I appreciate your comments!
Thanks for uploading this. Do you use earplugs? I use foam earplugs and I read the 20S does not get loud enough, even on max volume (but makes the beeps way too loud)
+fl0sserelli I do not usually wear earplugs.
Hopefully someone else will be able to answer this for you.
So I just got this and the 20S. How do I get the prism tube video and the audio from my Sena 20S into one video? Like how do I record what I say on the 20S with the video from the prism?
Are You using the Prism Tube or the Original Prism?
I think the tube uses a direct wired mic.
the original has to be paired with your sena headset.
the tube
what do you personally do if you encounter rain while riding?

+Touring Midwest TY4 the information.
No issues. Rode 3 straight hours in pouring rain. We were soaked kind of rain.
Very disappointed with the Sena 30k! Thing that bothered me a bit about the 30K is how you can not listen to music while using the bluetooth intercom
Great video!
Has anyone put a Sena 20s on a shoei neotec 2
I believe Memphis Mike did.
Thanks for the video. Rather annoying the farting around with the packaging and items on the table however. Just get to it.
Yup no problem
If you’re going to make a video, do a better angle bro, that’s horrible
Well it was 7 years ago so hopefully the newer the ones are a bit higher quality 🤞🏼
