    Lord ham mercy...This really gives Marvelous Designer a run for it's money. And it pretty much means I don't have to wastes money on fabric brushes anymore.

      I'm working on making clothes for a sculpt that I've been putting off for a while. This is a really neat feature and I'm really excited to learn its ins and outs.

    cloth sims in zbrush look and feel insanely flexible compared to blender. not sure if it's feasible for animations, but for static meshes, truly a gamechanger (at least for me)

    My transpose cloth brush is not doing anything in zbrush 2021.1.2. It just translates the object in a direction without collision.

    Hello Michael, thanks for the great videos. Massively educational and fun. My question, can you use UI and Shortcuts from Zbrush 2020? Better remake them? Cheers

      sorry for the late reply - between major releases, I rebuild my custom menus/ui from scratch to avoid any major/minor issues, just to play it safe

    Thanks for this quick overview! beside Undo, is there another way to reset the simulated mesh back to the default shape?

      store a morph target, store a layer, use your alembic cache, history recall brush if you want to get real zany, probably a few more ways

    You should clarify that the Transpose Cloth only works with a gizmo turned on. I never liked the gizmos and turn them off to use transpositions the old fashioned way because I'm more comfortable with it, and it was driving me crazy that this does nothing, and I thought things were broken.

    Is there anyway to animate on a timeline, aka Maya dynamics, so one can record the entire dynamic? KEEP UP THE GREAT WORK MIKE!

    • @MichaelPavlovich
      @MichaelPavlovich  3 роки тому

      it might not be exactly what you're looking for, but you can record the dynamics in a cache and play it back on the timeline; converting that cache file to something useable in another program might take a few hoops though ua-cam.com/video/t7isPofP6IU/v-deo.html

    Can you play this back and pick the frame of the simulation that you want or do we have to just pick the end / gamble with the ESC key?

    Mike, do you know if the simulation is CPU intensive or does it do the calculations on GPU?

    • @MichaelPavlovich

    Cette effet et déjà très utilisé et cela depuis très longtemps sur d’autres logiciels.je ne voie pas la de gros progrès. Il aurait tout autant plus intéressant de pouvoir animés des personnages créer a même sur Zbrush. Je ne voie pas l’intérêt de celui-ci .

      C'est surtout très simplifié et dispo sur zbrush, au lieu de devoir passer sur marmoset ou autre soft. C'est pas une révolution, mais une addition intéressante.
