    Hi Sarah! Hi Kyuho! Hi Kevin!
    My gosh Kevin! You can cook! And Mama Debbie’s blueberry pie? Wow!
    Thank you for taking us along on this wonderful day trip! There’s so much to see and do in Canada! It’s absolutely beautiful! Definitely on my bucket list to visit one day. The beach was so pretty, and I loved how Kyuho was able to find Kevin’s sunglasses for him! The bond that the boys have is beautiful thing to see!
    I love how Kyuho got to fulfill his dream of eating at an old diner. Things that we as Americans take for granted. We used to have a 50’s style diner, where the girls were on roller skates. I hope you both continue to have good weather for the remainder of your time. We’re experiencing the remnants of Hurricane Hilary. The last time a tropical storm hit the California coast was 84 years ago….. Take care! I cannot wait to see what this next week has in store for you and for those of us, who live vicariously through you! Thank you! ❤

    • @2hearts1seoul
      @2hearts1seoul  10 місяців тому +5

      We’ve been eating quite well here, to say the least 😅
      Kyuho had the best time at that diner, haha! It’s definitely something you don’t see in Korea, especially a place with history like that with a huge ‘western breakfast’ menu 🍳🥓
      We’ve been seeing the Hurricane Hilary stuff on the news these days-so weird that it’s on the west coast, because they’re almost always here on the east coast. 84 years ago, WOW! Stay safe over there!

    Ardmore is great. Try the Armview too before you go back to Korea for that traditional diner experience. And if you are looking for gourmet style brunch Bliss Caffeine Bar or Almonak - all in Halifax. Have a safe trip back to Korea.

    That is so cute that Kyuho wanted to go to a diner. I love that! I’m glad that he was able to fulfill his dream before you all left Canada this time. I also love the Bromance between Kyuho’s and your brother Kevin. I think it is the best thing ever! It really makes me smile. Enjoy the rest of your time in Canada if you’re still there. If you’re on your way back, safe travels back to Korea. I know that your parents and your brother will miss you greatly.

    OMG, diners are the best! Here on Long Island, we have tons of diners and it's the place to go for any meal or even a late night snack (like after a movie or concert). Breakfast food is always the best.
    We occasionally get tall ships in New York harbor. Usually, I think they come for events. The Halifax harbor is gorgeous and I love that rustic look. Reminds me of the New England area here in the US (Maine, New Hampshire, Massachusetts, Rhode Island). There's definitely a vibe/style that is so different. sarah you're a cat magnet!!
    about the mics, I've noticed that the fuzzy wind filter is also a great pop filter- when sarah was not using it (before going to the diner) you could hear the the pops come through (pops are like stronger air emissions we make when pronouncing the Ps at the start of words)-- so I'd always keep the filter on, even indoors and when not windy
    another mic related thing: is this model very directional? meaning: if you do not speak directly onto it, does it not capture your voice? (there's different kinds of mics for different purposes that require different distances from the sound source to the mic and how perpendicular the sound needs to be to it)-- asking to see if you would find it technically fesible to clip the mics to your shirts so you don't have to worry about holding your mics close to you when speaking. I'm a singer, so I'm used to having a mic on my hand all of the time, but it can take some time for folks to "become one" with it

      PS: for a moment i thought the tall ship was ARA Libertad (the argentinian navy uses it kind of like a school) and when i was the flag from Colombia i was like "oh it's not, but yay for latinamerican representation yesss!"

      @2hearts1seoul  10 місяців тому

      Yes! We noticed that too! We definitely want to keep the little fuzzy things on from now on :) These mics clip onto your shirt, but we prefer holding them, since the wind can blow them around and rub on the fabric of the shirt-plus it’s fun having a mini microphone 😅

      @2hearts1seoul it IS fun to hold a mic!! glad that you're comfortable-- handheld mics are an extension of my arm at this point. i am happy when i learn other people enjoy using them too and not find themselves feeling awkward using them 😀

    Canada gives me the feeling of a less stressful environment, mainly because it has fewer people at any one place, one time. Also it's more spread out, sprawling. East Asian cities in which I'm living in one of them, unless you are living in the countryside, it makes one feel claustrophobic, stressful and "straight-jacket". The good thing about east asian cities though is convenience, almost everything you want is within walking distance and less boring because shops are still open at night, with some convenience stores or MacDonald open 24 hrs.

    • @2hearts1seoul
      @2hearts1seoul  10 місяців тому +3

      Yup! We definitely agree with pretty much all of this. Canada has a lot of open space and it’s less ‘stuffy’ feeling, but the downside it that everything is so spaced out you pretty much NEED a car to survive here. In Korea (Seoul for us), everything is very compact, a lot more people, but also it’s so much easier and faster to get from place to place (and public transportation is wayyy better). We definitely don’t need a car living in Seoul. Each have their pros and cons for sure!

      It really depends where you are in Canada. Halifax (and out east in general) is very laid back. Places like Montreal, Toronto, Vancouver is a much much different vibe, everyone's rude and in a hurry in these places.

      try cooking on a grill very fresh with lots of omegs three fish, had saltwater pike when 20...called snook...changed my attitude towards seafood. ps also u might be turned off by metal in fish, good to find a local regional chart to area for mercury levels. Lobster differs between seas. Also be selective about omega threes, some fish are not healthy. Makes heart health difference 💞🌅⚓
