No Sebs was right, they have the playback vocals going but add their live vocals over it. Its pretty impressive that Sebs heard that the first time. I dont know of any instance of NSYNC performing BBB or IGBM live without any recording vocals in the background at all.
JC has the best vocals, hands down!! These were the good old days. I remember watching these concerts and recording them on my vcr, going to their concerts, buying cds, I still know their choreography and I still do it lol.
I'm so glad JC is getting some love and respect! Justin is amazing too! My nieces were into NSYNC back in the day and I totally loved their music and dancing and thought what a great bunch of guys! I had a boy band obsession too when I was their age. I totally still love to hear everything they did and as far as age goes Chris is the closest in age to me but you're never too old to enjoy great music!
There's a video from this year's VMAs of Taylor Swift losing her mind when NSYNC went up on stage together. Her hands were shaking and everything. It was wild to watch such a huge pop star utterly fangirl, but those boy bands really had all of us in a chokehold when we were young XD
No…This I Promise you is a JC power ballad song! Jive just put Justin there to open and end so that way people mentally focus on Justin and not JC. I Thought She Knew is a REAL Nsync song that showcases All their voices to make up that 5 part harmony!
@@veryluckybidALL of Justin’s parts are easily replaceable if you insert a “decent” singer to take his place. JC on the other hand IS the irreplaceable member! Heck, even Joey Fatone has a better voice than Justin. After JC, Joey was the next best singer. I cannot stand Justin’s annoying unsupported Billy Goat vocals. The only time he isn’t annoying is when he goes into falsetto, which a lot of his hardcore fans always hyper focus on and rave about how somehow THAT makes him more “better” than JC. Totally stupid, because ANY decent singer can do falsetto, there’s nothing special about it one bit. Chris Kirkpatrick can do falsettos better than Justin and even JC (though he prefers to use a mix high chest voice in a lot of their songs instead).
I took my daughter to see N’SYNC 3 times. We both Love them. We saw the No Strings Attached, Pop, and the Celebrity Tours. The last tour it was her birthday and they sang Happy Birthday to her and other fans for their birthdays!🎉However we were so close to the stage that Justin, Lance, and JC pointed her out😳it was such a surprise and a special moment we will never forget!😁❤💯

JC himself admitted that the group sang to backup tracks during televised performances so that they could concentrate on having the perfect dance performance. That was one of the differences between them and Backstreet--way Backstreet did not do the more complicated and athletic dance moves-they valued their live vocal perfomances more.
If you haven’t listened to I Wish She Knew yet, definitely search for one of their live renditions. Their old a cappella versions are amazing because you get to hear each person’s talent individually and then how well they blend.
I loved NSYNC as a young person and still enjoy listening to their stuff. That being said, as an adult, my faves are BTS, Taylor Swift, Imagine Dragons, and Coldplay. Coldplay's collab My Universe introduced me to BTS, and I fell hard. They are an amazing group. Legit, every member is extremely talented, and they have such a diverse discography. They have a new song out now.... I know Ally has to know this, because of her love for Nsync. You should check it out. Also, another good oldie of theres is "This I promise you" Love JC and Justin's voice on that song.
I'm 39, I still have my nsync dolls until now. People keep asking who are they? I told them the greatest boyband ever live, who can sing LIVE while dancing.
Definitely need to listen to I Thought She Knew to show off all of their vocals. They even said on Hot Ones that it was one of their personal favorites.
Wow. Take me back. I saw them in concert and middle school aged me was in heaven. The rush of seeing these guys live is hard to explain. You just had to be there. The mics were on and the choreography was top tier.
Really need to listen to 2-3 of the acapella songs. That's where their voices really shine and showcases their talent more then any of the pop songs will no matter how catchy. O Holy Night, and I thought she knew are 2 great ones.
You mentioned their breath control and it reminded me of an interview (can't remember which) where they mentioned that they trained to get that control by singing while running on treadmills. Intense!
Omg the model from the original video, Kim Smith, I had the biggest crush on her in high school. She's gorgeous and doesn't even have to use cheap shortcuts
They are really fun. Bring joy to life, make you dance and sound amazing while doing that. Those comments are right. Jc is faaaaaar better than jt. He has great voice, perfect vocal control and he is the best dancer in the group. In some concerts, you can tell that they are tired for example in winter olympics concert because of the cold weather and heavy clothes. But even in those moments especially last song bye bye bye in the winter olympics you can hear his voice clearly. There are some videos with only jt and jc live vocals and while jt sounds tired jc sounds powerful. And one last thing: definitely watch nsync holiday intimate show. They don’t dance there and sound amazing 🤩
👏 Jive did JC dirty by sabotaging JC to push Justin! He wasn’t even allowed to release the music he wanted to originally release because they didn’t want JC to compete against Justin in the same genre! If you paid close attention to some of JC’s side projects outside of Nsync, it was clear he was trying to branch out into doing solo R&B music: collaborating w/ Blaque in “Bring It All To Me” (only credited as Nsync cause Pearlman wanted to make sure he got all the money) And JC’s song for Drumline, “Blowin Me Up With Her Love”! Even early on in his career, JC has always stated Jazz and Soul music were his biggest influences growing up (probably has a lot to do w/ his French-Creole heritage which management hid because Nsync was supposed to be an all “White” stubborn boyband)! None of the boybands singers can even touch JC vocally! Some may claim that Zayn Malik or even Bruno Mars can go toe to toe with him….nope heard both many times over and none of them can! The crazy thing about JC’s vocals is that people assume his range is so great because he can hit all those high notes like Chris. What they don’t know, is that JC is also capable of hitting into Bass range territory as Lance. There are several unreleased Nsync projects where JC does just that! You’d think you were listening to Lance, but nope it’s JC! For example, the song Here and Now features JC singing very low and deep!
Both of my daughters plus my 2 sisters are NSYNC fanatics. My oldest daughter more so than my youngest(born in 1998). I told all of them that NSYNC and Backstreet Boys were not the original boy bands of course they looked at me like I was stupid. But I showed them pics of the originals The Osmonds and The Jackson 5. Guess what, my kids absolutely loved listening to that music when I played it for them especially “Down By the Lazy River”, “Crazy Horses” and “Yo-Yo” by The Osmonds.
Jts knees are infact sweating Bc they had to wear those outfits underneath the black puppet costumes for the first set then they tore this off and had those underneath for quick change. Unfortunately jt had the light colored pants on and it’s showed hahaha he actually explained it one time on something I saw Bc everyone always asks the question. JC sings circles around Brian. There are video clips of JC doing vocal runs and holding a long note for over 40 seconds in one breath! He effortlessly sings without trying too hard cause he was naturally gifted with a 4 octave range! Plus Brian never learned how to sing properly with his voice (and the damage is clear today). The song is actually about them ditching their previous record label. The cd was called no strings attached because they were tired of basically always being told what to do with their music...not about some random girl
THEY'RE ALL TRAINED PERFORMERS! WTF are you talking about? 🤨 JT was trained as a child being a part of the Mickey Mouse Club on TV. That's where he, Brittney Spears and Lance Bass all came from. Joey isn't just there for aesthetics either. He helps to tie a lot of their harmonies together as he is the Bass or Baritone of the group. Less sure about Kris Kirpatrick"s background but hey, Shinny teeth Shinny teeth! 😁

Ok... my N'Sync story. It's taken a bit because I'm still shell-shocked. Took my mom's bf's daughter. I came away with a CLEAR appreciation for the group as a whole. Now I was a smidge older than the average concert fan there. First, the screams were deafening, I had ringing in my ears for a couple of days after. I'm no stranger to concerts. I survived a Metallica concert ffs!!! These kids, omg. When I was a kid, my boy band was Wham! and I went to their concert. Oh, it was loud. It was George Michael, we all lost our collective over him, but the decibels were nowhere near N'Sync. I want to try and set the scene, I was around 19 I think and this little blonde haired girl was literally punching my arm every single time Lance came on stage and I was thinking of telling her just to get back at her for kicking my ass the whole night but then remembered MY love of George Michael and literally in my head all I could think was, You poor thing, you're gonna be surprised in a few years, lol. The meat and potatoes of this though was N'sync and the undeniable talent they showcased. I'm a big lover of dance and came away with one sick love of JC's smooth af moves. JT could also, but JC ranked higher to me. Now, we don't talk about JC here anymore. When I saw him, I was like, no, dude, give up the last hurrah and please, Lord, cut your hair. Thought I was going to hate every second and was proven so wrong. I actually have a favorite song, heard it during the concert, and still listen to it today. Digital Getdown

JC was sabotaged from the beginning and wasn’t given any money or support like Justin. Timberlake was spoon fed a career set up by ALL the team of people dead set on making him succeed (momager, handlers). That narcissistic former child beauty contestant is no different than all the Nepo babies that had it easy having money thrown at them to “not” fail.
JC was ON his own, not even comparable in situation.
Jc❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤ he deserved better recognition but us true fans we knowwwww the truth ❤
Team JC. I still jam to this trying to get my kids into it. It's nice to hear yall conversate. I was born in the 80s just for verification lol
Y’all need to React to their Performance of “Pop” at the 2001 MTV Video Music Awards🙌🏽🔥🔥🔥(There’s a huge surprise at the end as well!)
Also y’all are a cute couple, and it’s great he is partaking in your old school favorite artists/bands. I agree with some of his comments, but they’re the last icon before most if not many that aren’t as good nowadays. Nowadays I can only think of a few
You asked about the pants…JT had just been out doing some beatboxing with the band while everyone else changed. Those khakis were under his black pants from the first 3-4 songs and he had to do a quick change so yes his knees were sweaty 😅
Hermosa voz..
Nsync Forever!!!❤❤❤
Yesssss team JC all day!!!!
Aannnd he just called her T-Swift. He's a Swiftie 😂😍
It’s great to be able to bring back our teen or pre teen years 🩵
JC was always my favorite too and Chris was underrated
Great dancers
JC is 100% the best!! Justin knows it too
This definitely is one of the best songs they made. It's a total banger before bangers were bangers.
You should check out SB19's doing the
NSYNC's and Backstreet Boy's medley. You will surely love how they execute the songs in that medley.
JC Chasez is the chosen one.
OMFG I have this on dvd 😅😻
Sebs, embrace the boy bands 😂 I was born in 1980 and love all the boy bands
Jt's knees are sweaty because the performance before that (he was beatboxing), he was wearing pants (i assume) on top of that pants.
Obviously, i watched the entire thing.
4:54 Me too Aly, Me too. I was 18/19 screaming like a fool. The shows were so much fun though! JC4eva!! 😂
You should listen to a solo song from JC. JC Chasez - Dear Goodbye. You can really hear him sing.

Lol you don't know you don't get to go....😅😅😅 I love Allie. I feel you girl.... yes let us have our nostalgic moments you heathens lol
"Ali keeps making me listen to NSYNC"..... remember Sebs mothers and wives know best! OR I'll put it another way.... happy wife happy life.
This song was purely prophetic for the future Dr Justin Timberlake💘, Hon DMus (Berklee, 2019)
Ok... my N'Sync story.
LOL... I had a crush on Joey. I still love Joey. And I'm a Swifty. We all get to love what we love. This has been super fun to watch you both do these together.
I was born in 2003 and love boy bands cuz of my mom. I think I should be able to seem them for the first time while y’all have seen them before 😂. Never understood that argument
Yes, they need to share, let us have a turn now
It's just a joke don't worry hahah
@@lakeeffectkid1848EVERYONE can see them. Her point was ONLY 90s kids and back saw them LIVE. It’s not as special watching it on UA-cam years later. Seeing them live today wouldnt be the same as back in the 90s….
Gen Zers are too young to have experienced NSYNC in their peak. Sure ANYONE can discover them anytime, but the point is, their PEAK is the best time. Not discovering them through internet or a parent…
@@lessismore8533 I understand, I didn’t mean it in a rude way. It’s not my fault I wasn’t born earlier. It just really sucks that I couldn’t be there when they were at their greatest. I want to at least experience them singing live once in my life
OH, OH, OH... Sebs you have to listen with your wife to NSync "God must have spent a little more time on you". That is a great song that will make you think of your wife anytime you hear it. And by the way, you and Ali are seriously #relationshipgoals!!!
No backing track. It's just them. ❤
FABULOUS ❤❤
Do the live of This I Promise You with Richard Marx! Omg its soooooooo good. Sebs will love it!❤❤
They are not singing over a back track, btw. There have been recent interviews where they stand very firm on never having 1. lip-sanc or 2. Using back track to fill their voices. What you hear is all them which is why you might hear a couple sound weaker in times of exertion.
only Tops of the Pops is when they had to lip sync.TOTP made everyone lip sync anyway😂 but the boys put on a fabulous show regardless!
@@knmonlinemedia True! Top of the Pops required that with everyone. Definitely not their choice. I remember seeing an interview with Queen members complaining about that same requirement back in the 70s! So annoying that they had to do that. Lol
Linda voz
Muy cierto
I’m team JC shoutout to the Leos.
They all knew how to sing.
I forgot how good of a dancer JT is.
They’re not singing to a backing track. That’s all live performance.
Dude, your wife have taste if your talkin about boyban😂😂.. for me and my wife, its actually the other way around, like i was the one whos updating her that nsyn released new song, and she said"ok cool", and i told he"whhat thats it, have to listen to it swettie" 😂😂😂
Hermosa chica
JC is the BEAST!
In this video, they were no backing tracks. You could hear everything. They were singing, even the messed up notes that they would hit every once in a while.
