      Wasn't too bad of a job, but would have been easier with two people. Glad you enjoyed- thanks for watching 🙂

    Thanks for sharing the how to do it. Good suggestion on using the penetrating oil well ahead of time on rusty bolts. Take care. 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

    An old trick i was taught with rusty fasteners is to work them back and forth spray with penetrating oil, should come off without snapping off

    My go to is a 3/8 Dewalt USA cordless impact 🙂. Never breaks bolts, but gives a lot of impact action👍🏻.

      Thanks for the tip! I do have a small impact, but was afraid even it might break a bolt. I will have to try it next time when a similar situation comes up 🙂

    I agree Chris, OEM parts is the best way to go. Also, I have used High Temp Antisieze its copper colored. But I think in this application it would've burned out and probably not been a lot of bennefit.

    That's a semi complex muffler if you think about it but seems like you got it done ok.

    Everybody thinks that because of it's lubricating ability penetating oil is what works best...... The problem is that rust has taken up the minute spaces in the threads......So if you wash the rust out the bolt or nut will come off.... I use a squirt bottle with water... once you move the bolt or nut you work it on and off while squirting it with water.... the water will turn rusty.....I can say with impunity that since I learned this trick I have not broken or gauled a rusty bolt

    I had a Ford mechanic put never seize on the inside of the turbocharger on my F-350 truck instead of replacing it. The turbocharger had to be replaced by a nothing Ford mechanic because it got all gummy and it didn't work right. They both said it could be used for heat but the the 2nd said not on the inside with the moving parts. So for what ever that is worth, lol.

    Didn’t buy a aftermarket special from Amazon. Only a one time take apart and fix. That was good for you but we don’t get 3 or 4 videos of you being frustrated with getting the incorrect part 2 or 3 times. Lol

    • @dehavenfamilyfarm
      @dehavenfamilyfarm  3 роки тому

      Thanks Mike! It was a little quieter, but I found that the glass in the front of the cab needed to be sealed so I did that too.

    Thank you for the video. Nothing about the engine,but I have seen something strange in a cab view picture. I ve never tried a 5150 in my life but, is it possibile this tractor has the seat not exatcly in the middle of the cab? I saw it s a little bit on left side looking at the steering. Maybe because of the consolle on the right. In the 7200 series, is it the same? Thank you
