Is it possible to split screens I PBP differently? I would like to split it not in the half, but to have 16:9 QHD screen and 5:9 little screen.

I am in Australia, it did take about 2 weeks for delivery. I ordered it on Ebay on the Dell official store.

Hi, I have this monitor.
Can you test the USB 3.2 downstream ports? especially the ones towards the bak. I can only get the ones working that are in the front. I've plugged the USB cable into the USB-B upstream port but when I connect to the ports on the back row I get nothing
I am using the USB ports in the back to connect the WebCam and it works fine.
Hi there, when you do a side by side do both sides do 144HZ or are they both locked to 60hz? Also if you do picture in picture does the main picture stay in 144hz?

What's been your experience with black smearing on this monitor? Noticeable or no? If noticeable, how bad was it?
I got one to test even though i knew VA panels are bad, and they are. The high refresh rate is technically useless at this point because the smearing is horrendous. Stay away from VA Panels
Does this monitor have speakers ?
I notice the monitor has a 3.5mm sound output. If I plug an external speaker to this port, will the sound come out from the speaker, assuming I jplug HDMI cable from xbox to the monitor?
Yes, it works for audio over DisplayPort cable, so should work for HDMI as well :)

Hy, I'm having some issues with my Dell 34 monitor, the buttons don't seem to work as they should, the "Presets Modes" option menu keeps heretically popping up and I have'nt found a single shred of info regarding that issue, would you know anything regarding this type of issue?

Does it work well with the MacBook via HDMI? Is it that bad that you wanted to use it with the HDR? Or do you reckon using Display Port will be better? Not sure if hdr and display port is the same thing. Thanks for the review
It works well with HDMI to HDMI, however, it cannot have 144 Hz refresh. I cannot remember correctly, my windows laptop should be up to 99 or 100 Hz using HDMI ports on both side. If you have MacBook, you should buy a usb-c to disport port cable to make the refresh better. Now I am using usb-c to DP, 144, Windwos OS, AMD Ryzen laptop.

Does this monitor has a built-in resolution downscaler? Some monitors have it where it can signal the ps5 to output 2160p so the monitor would downscale it to 1440p
No, have not found any feature like that in the menu or in the manual.

When sharing screen on Teams, can you share just half of the screen?
No, but you can just share an app instead of the whole desktop. That's what I do.
My Dell S3422DWG is now not able able to go up to the higher resolutions since the last macOS Monterey version 12.3.1 update. The highest it will go up to now is 1080p. Have you had the same issue and did you find a fix so that the 3440 x1440 resolution is an option?
oh and by the way I have spent 2 weeks with Apple Senior support and Dell support. Apple support fix is delete everything on your MacBook pro and reload it. Then it should work. Dell is that Mac's are not support for this monitor I need to speak to Apple.

Same here, with my mac air m1.. I have bought in usbc to dp ..to see if it makes any difference.

Hi Does it have Speakers, some reviews say yes, some no .., I have just buy on Amazon yesterday
No built in speakers unfortunately. It does have 2 audio outs so yo can connect a headphone and external speakers to it.

No issues, just make sure you get the right Display Port cable. I use the MPB 2018

@@joshie902100 I use a USB-C to Display Port Cable. I think going direct is best, you will get the 144hz. Some docks will restrict the throughput.
@@whatsnew9510 Hello, my laptop does not have DP but only HDMI or USB-C. Do you think Bi-directional DP->HDMI cable works without compromise?
How's the black smearing on this VA panel? And does the viewing angle any good?
Will do another video to show...black smearing is not too bad in my opinion, and viewing angle is decent for a VA panel.

What's different between S3422DW Vs S3422DWG? Thank you for time!!
Dell s3422dw is as regular monitor and S3422DWG is a gaming monitor. The S322DWG has a higher refresh rate

I have noticed some light bleed when watching a dark video, but for my WFH use case it doesn't really show up, so it does not really bother me.

Hi. Never had any issues. I run the monitor at 144hz and use it 5-8hrs a day for work. Have not experienced any eye strain

If price is not a factor why go for the S3422DWG VERSUS THE S34DW?
Check this comparison out: www.dell.com/en-au/shop/compare?ocs=210-azhu,210-axiw. I would say go the S3422DWG as it will be more future proof with 144hz via Displayport, higher brightness and USB hub.

The monitor looks washed out vs an IPS panel. Is it noticeably less vibrant in person?
I find it vibrant enough for my use case. I have not compared it to an IPS panel. I guess its subjective...
There's pros and cons to both. VA has better contrast and blacks. IPS is usually more vibrant/saturated with more washed out/grey blacks. Tom's hardware has a video comparing the differences.
If I would get it for my ps5 would it support 120 hz option

It came with 3 cable options, i used the hdmi to hdmi. Should i use a different one, as i have an alien ware r13 gaming pc. So far i hate this look.

G-SYNC IS NOT WORKING!!! I just got this monitor and not only does it flicker, the image is choppy and stuttering! Stay away NVIDIA GPUS owners!!! Second day return.
My GPU is RTX 3070.
I just sent my S3422DWG back as frustrated with a few issues including little to no youtube support.I thought in late 2021 support would have been much better, tried browser extensions, only one partially worked but just zooms out picture, looks terrible.Shame as would have liked to have kept it but going back to my 5 year old ASUS MG278Q
