Yes unfortunately it was only one lung and gut shot. I had to back out and come back later that day to track him down. Never would have recovered him if I had pushed him at all.. very little blood.

This guy was only 131. I hit a possible 10 pointer who was probably between 180 and 200 a few weeks later from this same stand, unfortunately i didn't push the button on the go-pro hard enough. Even more unfortunate was the fact that i hit him high and never recovered him. More practice with the go-pro and the bow before next season :(
i will give u a tip. i had my first clean miss in 8 years last munday morning at a 180 to 190 lb 120 in ch buck at 42 yards .in 1987 i started aiming at the bottom off the deer right wair the wite meats the brown .yhey all jump the string .i shot my 214 newengland bow kill oct 27 .shot 5 this season 3 in NH 2inMASS. got them on video also . the big one my battery died be four the shot . i don't think u shot hi i think the deer jumped the string .alys aim low good luck.@@nobama5555
