Arizona Strip Trip [2017 - Full Trip]

- Опубліковано 8 жов 2024
- We're off to one of the most remote and least-visited parts of the state -- the stretch of Arizona north of the Grand Canyon, known as the Arizona Strip. On our 5 day journey, we'll cover around 700 miles of trails, camping out along the way and pass stunning scenery around every turn. Some of our stops include White Pocket in the Vermillion Cliffs, the North Rim of the Grand Canyon, Toroweap, Mt. Trumbull Schoolhouse, and Grand Gulch Mine.
This series originally premiered in 5 parts back in the summer of 2017. Going forward, future specials will continue to be released in multiple segments, with the full trip uploaded after the last episode.

Yeah, boys, that is it! I made that tour 1985, now I´m 80 and I have to look that fantastic road movie on my sofa!
5 years. Time to return and revisit!
I did the exact same trip solo with my dog a year ago. Great video!
I did the same trip 25 years ago in my Nissan Frontier. Thanks for the re-package of the original trip.
Great trip. The Arizona strip is so desolate .. I fly over it all the time while decending into Sin City and the raw beauty is breathtaking
I’ve been all over the AZ Strip. The drive out to Toroweap is my favorite. Also the Bar 10 ranch is worth visiting it’s just south of Mt Trumbull School House.
You 2 cousins are so funny! Another awesome Daniel / Scotty production. Thanks for sharing, hermanos.
Just saw you at the stop light. Was awesome seeing you! Excited to watch your new videos!
Good way to start Friday!
Love your channel. Your videos inspired me to explore Arizona. Spotted your rig on Dysart Rd today.
Love the channel, haven't heard much, hope all is well.
Where is Scotty?
@@W7DSY idk, I hope everything is ok.
@@graysonbrown2774 You know, I only live a few miles from him, have reached out to him but get no response.
Yikes, not good news.
I came here wondering the same, hope all is well and there are some trips soon.
Enjoyed the trip a lot. We just purchased a SXS and are planning some weekend trips to begin with. Loved the video and especially the outtakes. Kudos you guys.
Great Video! We just got off of 10 days on the strip. We did Kanab Point, SB Point, Toroweep, Whitmore Point, Twin Point and part of Kelly Point. We love the strip and the North Rim!! Keep it up!
Great adventure! I know the area’s remoteness!
Excelente video. Saludos desde Sonora México.
Yo no se inglés:( sabrá que dirá, me cuentas ? Jajajaj
You have Black Rock. SeegMiller mountains. Mount Logan Trumbull.
Whitney Pass/pocket. Limekiln Pass/pakoon. Twin and Kelly points. All the area between I 15 and Blackrock.
Road in from colorado city over to black diamond butte.
Its 80x200 miles. Plus Lake Mead. GCNP. Vermillion cliffs.
7 days. And you need fuel resupply. Water.
I just visited the Bar 10 Ranch on the AZ Strip, and had a white knuckle, grueling drive out. The night before I was to leave it rained/blew hard. Just as I went to sleep, I thought, "Oh sh*t, I'm not going to be able to get out of here." I made it, but there were moments when I thought I was going to be out in the middle of nowhere mired in mud. It took me two days of chiseling/knocking dried mud from every nook/cranny of the underside of my truck. For anyone considering driving in there, getting in is only half the equation; and most importantly, DRY WEATHER travel only! (unless you're flying in to one of the remote airstrips). I'm curious how you were able to cover so many miles (and so many aired-down in creep mode) on just one tank of gas, plus your 10 spare gallons.
I enjoyed the out takes. leave more in. LOL
I'm in St George, I've made it down to Tuweep and Mt Trumble.
Good video, Scotty. But I hope your drawing from 2017 doesn't mean you won't be doing anything current--like because the Jeep has a broken axle or something.
Crud, point sublime is on my list. Bring a chain saw and get there
You should get some nitto ridge grapplers
Two spare tires are smart.
Living the dream. You guys ever want to do these trips with a bigger group? You could even make a little money as guides.
I have a question. Is a trip on this route doable with a 2016 Jeep Renegade Trailhawk with a 2" lift, or do you need a more capable vehicle such as what you have or a Wrangler?
I’m thinking that would work. What tires are you using?

Was that cabin in the national forest?
👍👍👍
Those dump truck tires had air 20 years ago until my drunk buddy shot holes in them...shame on him.
How would a 2wd F150 or f250 fair?
2wd is a NO
