Another tip for understanding and reading English or any other language is to read children's books in that language and to watch kids movies. Start there because then it's easier words and smaller and understandable sentences. Then go onto to teen books and movies and then to more advanced ones. Easier that way to start from the small segment

They do body scanning just to make sure if you have any Contagious Rashes /skin diseases . 🙂

Yes ,nangi . At the Emirates interviews, there was a lady who came to check if we are wearing stockings or not. So yes! It’s a Must , If you notice even Sri Lankan’s cabin crew wear stockings for work .

No . I did not have previous airline work experience. But I worked for a bank and had nearly 04 years of customer service experience.

Hadn't there been vacancy for emirates
They didn’t hire until they started a month ago ..
Back to back flight means ??
Back to back flights mean , we only get 12-14 hrs REST after a duty flight until the next duty flight . Usually these flights are around 2-4 hrs time . Sometimes may be 3 flights in a row .. :-/ it’s exhausting at times ....

Can I know the approximate salary for newly joined cabin crew members in Emirates ?
Starting salary package for a new cabin crew in ECONOMY CLASS - GR2 would be approximately LKR 243,000 with flying pay . I don’t remember how much is paid hourly ( flying pay ) coz I was in economy class in 2014 . Flying pay would be total equivalent to the basic salary.
Currency rate as of today 1 AED = 54 LKR
