I'll be honest, this is a hunt I never thought I'd see from you,.............but why not. It puts meat on the table. It's a fun learning experience. It broadens your fan base and gives you some great footage as a UA-camr. It's legal, and somebody's going to do it, so why not you? Looking forward to see how it turns out.
Can’t wait for the next episode, I’ve never hunted high fence but there’s a world of difference between Texas high fence managed in part by the state game department and a high fence where the deer are purchased, tagged and put into a breeding program. I say if you get a unique buck then mount him and hang him on your wall! Not any different then a lot of high end hard to draw area guided hunts! Thanks for an awesome channel!
As always, enjoy your videos and glad you had the opportunity. Question: Was it tough sitting in the blind, seeing those huge bucks and know that you could only watch? I'd be amazed and would learn something from watching them but would probably start shooting does (for meat) in frustration.
Opportunity like that would be awesome. I would be so nervous about shooting the wrong buck. I would want them to invite me back again one day. Would hate to ruin it. Your hard work is paying off! Keep it up.
I guess when you push yourself and set goals, this kind of awesomeness is the payout.

If you haven’t experienced South Texas deer hunting you are truly missing out. People who don’t know high fence bash it as if it’s not fair game, I would argue it can very well be more challenging than low fence. Plants high in protein grow in S TX, resulting in large antlers and superior meat quality. On many ranches you can hunt October through February!
Whoa, hold on Dan hunting whitetail. Since I have started watching the channel haven't seen this. But it is a good change of pace for sure. Always look forward to each video. Keep up the great work and way to go on shooting some doe's.
Ranches with gentically modified deer and fences are a major threat to real authentic hunting. When you are sitting in front of a feeder with 50 deer and 15 of them are 5-7 year old 150-200 Inch bucks. That’s a zoo not a farm.
Yeah… have to agree… petting zoo… surprised they didn’t have inventory # tags in the ears. But I guess there’s a market for rich people to check off a bucket list item for a cool $10,000. To each his own, I guess, and I’ll never think ill of it. Everyone has a right to pick the level of hunting difficulty and that’s ok too. Just not for me for the price, lol… Cool video. Heck yeah, two favorite species from hands down the best hunting channel. Being from alberta, OTC archery moose, rifle sheep, mulies and whitetails. And hunter hosted goat hunts 5 hours west, we're very blessed with opportunity and species selection. But MAN, I want a big ol Texas whitetail
Love the content of the channel. Crazy to think that those bucks you showed are worth about $10,000 a piece. Born and raised in Texas. I have seen game ranches and high fenced ranch go up like crazy. Deer are worth more than cattle and bigger business than you might think. The commercialization of hunting in Texas had made it so expensive it’s insane. Which is why I have switch to western hunting because it’s cheaper. I can go to multiple western states and still save money when compared to the cost of one year on a hunting lease. It’s a big business that’s Changing hunting for future generations.

You got the opportunity which many people do not, you might as well take advantage of that and fill your freezer. Who cares if it is high fence or not. You still have to make a good shot.

How high was the fence around the property? Doesn’t take any skill to harvest an animal when it’s contained. Especially when you add sitting on a feeder into the mix.

Not trying to sound like your mom, but I'm super proud of you for just saying it's a high fence hunt. There's plenty of legit places that offer hunts if you're willing to pay for it that are fun and that's the idea of doing it. That's a lot better than portraying guys pounding out land, like your elk hunts, shooting some giant animal and making it seem like it's something other than it is. Great videos
