    Dedication and hard work pays off again. Those 3 deer were bigger than anything I've seen in quite a few years. I got skunked this year, and I'll be losing access to about half of the property I hunted this year. Urban sprawl here in Northwest Indiana. And there really isn't that much public land to hunt in my area. Always great to come along on your trips.

    We shot 2 deer with the Beast. Both were broadside shots and center punched the heart. In both cases we had full pass throughs, both heads made close to a full cutting diameter entrance hole but apparently closed back up and only made slightly over a 1” cut through the heart. Both heads were recovered intact and in good shape though of course dull. They need to do some additional work on the design as not have a cutting diameter as large as most fixed blades through the vitals is far from ideal.

    Shhh. Imagine preaching united, not divided, and hunting a place where a majority of land is private. Land access divides us. The thrill of the hunt and fever to come unites us. Promoting products from a poacher divides us. Ecologigical rehabilitation and management for all beings unites us.

  • @josephr1198

    • @TCdiscgolf

      So he had a plot and intention to steal, bro?@@TCdiscgolf

    • @josephr1198
      @josephr1198 6 місяців тому +1

      @cooperoutdoors9635 Conspiracy to what? He literally admitted to taking wildlife illegally in his plea deal. Read further I'll post it.
      And you realize that his plea deal is public record.
      In that document there's things like elements of crime, and then there's elements understood and admitted to, factual basis.
      Under that you see what Josh admitted to, section II, B, 6
      "Defendants conducted approximately three (3) to five (5) hunts per year at HHO.
      At various times from at least on or about September I 0, 2015, through at least
      November 6, 2017, Defendants agreed to purchase hunting and guiding services
      from RHO for the purposes of taking, possessing, and acquiring wildlife, some of
      which was attempted to be taken in violation of the laws and regulations of the
      State of Nebraska. Wildlife taken, possessed, and acquired in the State of
      Nebraska was transported in interstate commerce from the State of Nebraska into
      Ohio."
      So there you go Josh bowmar violated game laws. He is a poacher.

    • @Matt-jl8xf
      @Matt-jl8xf 6 місяців тому +1

      @@josephr1198 I think you are reaching a bit man. Violating a game laws does not equate to poaching. I made a mistake fly fishing out west once where it was barbless only, and I forgot to pinch the barb on one of my flies and sure as sh*t a game warden pops out and asks to see my fly. I show him and explain I forgot, and then showed him my box of flies with virtually all of the barbs pinched and he was cool... so, is that grounds to call me a poacher because I technically violated a fish and game law? ... to anyone with common sense thats a definite no.... and for arguments sake, had that warden charged me and then after years of court dates, they offered me a plea deal to just say I had conspiracy to violate the law and take a minimal punishment, I would take that deal rather than keep fighting trying to prove it was an honest mistake..... Try to think beyond the surface of things...
      Yes, I'm sure they had known some shady stuff was going on but continued to hunt with the outfitter because he wants content... that is certainly wrong and he should answer for it... But taking a plea deal does not mean certain guilt. If you know anything about the system sometimes its WAY easier and cheaper for someone to take a small slap on the wrist and move on, than spend countless thousands on lawyers and time to continue the court case which may just end at the same result anyways. The plea deal was smart and anyone in the situation, even if they know damn well they are innocent would probably take that deal as well to save money and time... I'm sure he knew what was happening there which is the real thing he should be blamed for, but you cannot call him a poacher without hard evidence he was literally poaching. What you just posted means nothing. If you know the baiting laws where he was hunting, you can only base poaching on speculation and nothing more. Yes, he helped put out bait.... and thats legal there as long as you hunt 200 yards away from it from what I understand, and he did not take a deer over a bait pile. I am not a fan of him by any means, but I am not a grudge filled person that looks for anything they can to put someone else down. Maybe he did shoot a deer with a rifle or over bait...but there is not hard proof of that. There has been WAY too much guilty until proven innocent going on in our society these days.
      On a side note, his cease and desist order to that guy that was making nose buttons or whatever was just lame. He can claim its business, but I think its punching down and a bit arrogant to go after a small time person making a few bucks off something they made. So, I don't think they are the greatest of people out there.... but all the poacher allegations are either just jealous people or grudge filled. In the hunting world, the term poacher is about as bad as it gets... and needs hard evidence before dragging someone through the mud for that... all the evidence I have seen about him poaching is just total speculation because he took a plea deal.... which does not mean guilt of poaching.
      Thats just my .02 . I am not looking for an argument so will not respond, I just wanted to state my opinion and let others judge for themselves.

    • @josephr1198
      @josephr1198 6 місяців тому +1

      @Matt-jl8xf I see you didn't read the part of the plea deal where Josh Bowmar literally confessed to knowingly taking game illegally, and knowingly transporting that game across state lines.
      I don't care about your anecdotes, we are referencing the court case where Josh Bowmar plead guilty to illegally killing g animals, as per the plea deal.
      What is your definition of poaching?
