I've just binge-watched 2 years worth of classic Corrie at a fairly crap point in my life. I stumbled across it on UA-cam after too many wines about a week ago. Thank you ProfessionalGun66 for the quality uploads of a British show that reminds us all of when Corrie was unmissable. Keep 'em coming. xx

@@Milarkimilarki Peter was openly gay and was caught exposing himself to another man in public.
Bear in mind that in the 1980s the world was nowhere near as liberal as it is today when it comes to homosexuality and equality.
      Corrie producers stood by him.
He was caught again later with what Peter suspected was a sting operation.

Hilda was poisoned chalice at times. Her interfering & thirst for gossip went way too far sometimes… I mean even spreading scandal and bad words about the death of Renee & Alfs possible drinking. Alf wasn’t even at the damn wheel when Renee died & her car was stationary.. FFS!.. it was a pure accident..,

Renee only had a learner's permit, so legally Alf was in charge of the vehicle - which he had vacated, leaving the learner at the wheel alone in the car, and he failed the breathalyzer, making it even worse.
