Interesting to know that the R230 SL 63 production is a fourth of the previous SL 55… different times with a global recession and competition from Ferrari with the California… still my favorite AMG though!

Love the E63 wagon. I would love to have one, as well as an SL55 and SL 63 in my stable. Wish we had the money for them. But we do have a 2014 C63 coupe. So at least we have 1 AMG. Awesome cars. Eternally grateful. But I wish Mercedes would get more specific and publish production by the year and not just the generation subset. For instance, facelift R230 SL65's are listed at 788 cars for the total of the years 2008, 2009 and 2010 combined. From my R230 book I know 355 of those represented 2009. I also know from my manual this year SL has a 94.64 liter fuel tank. 14.64 liters larger than listed in this Mercedes Archive. It's the largest fuel tank for any SL. Maybe they will provide more detail and accuracy later.

The C32 Sport Coupe was a AMG Performance Studio build only! If you find a C32 AMG SC and run it’s vin it will pull up info for a C180 😂 crazy but that’s why that is separately documented.
Regarding the W210 E55 AMG, I've heard a number of 12 000 produced but according to the website the number is less at 10 073, so that's great! :D
C216 CL Class from 2010-2014 not included! I looked everywhere for numbers on these models and only unofficially found AMG numbers!
thanks AMGmeister, now i can spend time on this website unnecessarily, ha. also, do you know of 4962 E62 AMG produced, how many came to the United states? i know its like 2400 ish, but this number is from facebook AMG pages and i take their information w a grain of salt.
Great info! But for my car it says " Not separately documented". So is still a guess for me about how many C32 AMG Sportcoupe were made.

so I have a 2006 w220 s55 which I believe was only offered in N. America. The database only goes to 2005 for w220. What are my options?
The database follows build dates rather than model years. The S55 AMG was produced until 07/2005. However, many of these cars made in 2005 were sold as 2006 model year cars in N. America. Here is a 2006 S55 built 01/2005 for example: bringatrailer.com/listing/2006-mercedes-benz-s55-amg-4/
So: 5,469 units of S55 LWB with the Kompressor engine were made.

I cant find: 2004,2005 S65 AMG production amounts. Usually people are telling only north america 2006 427 amount but that is wrong.
W220 427 units were sold to north usa all total. But it does not give full manufactor number. Same also w220 S63 444bhb version. No info. Wtf!
