When I was in kinderfarten, back in 1978, a girl in class went to Japan with her family. She brought back some Japanese candy for us to try. I have been searching for what it was ever since. Now I know it is called "yokan".

I love how you can always find these small little family owned shops with super delicious food all around the country! Sometimes you walk into somewhere really unassuming and you can just feel the history - makes the food taste that much better.

Thank you for coming to my town Nikko!
I'm so glad to you had nice food and sightseeing in Nikko.
Actually, I recommend Miyamae dango to your listener (6:50), Nikko has many so nice Manju and Dango, but Miyamae-dango is the best Dango in Nikko.
Nikko has other good foods too.
Please come back to Nikko to food trip and hiking again.
I wait for your next visiting.
    Thank you, Arigato!!!
