The luxury set for sure, though Minamoto no Yoritomo was the first shogun by quite a wide margin. Tokugawa Ieyasu was the first shogun of the Edo period.
I love how you incorporate the traditional foods and sights, with todays foods and sights. I hope one day to get to experience not just what you showed today, but other areas of japan if I get to visit. Thank you for sharing :)
1ST Thing I Noticed Was Snow, 2ND Was Your Clear Umbrella & 3RD Was The Giant Waterfall. I Could Hear The Crunch Every Bite You Took Of The Yummy Potato & Pork Thing. Ritz Cariton Looked Outstanding. Outstanding All Around
I’ve really enjoyed all your content since I started subscribing from last year. The places you go seem very well thought out and not just where all the other j-vloggers go. Keep up the great work.
Such a nice warm relaxing video, thank you. I really appreciate your style in your videos, (the second one I have watched) makes learning about your culture fun. I really enjoy it. Thank you for sharing. :)
Great video! but it'll also be more help for tourists to see the price range from all these tasty looking food! Just to give us some ideas (Planning on visiting Japan next year, maybe sometime in April) :)
Chinese and Japanese food are completely different; granted each country takes and varies a food sometimes but that doesn't make it similar, Chinese food uses a lot of spices that Japanese don't, Chinese also has a lot of variation depending on where it's from, Japanese does too but not to the extent China does
6:59 WHHHHHHHHHHAAAAAAT? Holy crackers. Tokugawa Ieyasu was no where near the first Shogun of Japan. His line were the LAST Shogun of Japan. How do you not know this? I'm a hafu from Atlanta Geogia USA and I seem to know more about my culture than you do. Just whhhhaaaat? hahahaha I love your videos but I'm going to have to thumbs down this one for the awful historical error there hahaha
Yikes, you’re right. I think I might have misspoken there. 😅 I think I meant to say he was the first shogun of the Tokugawa shogunate in Japan. I have a lot of info to memorize in a short time so sometimes I say some weird things. 😬 That said, I never studied Japanese history in school so I’m admittedly not as knowledgeable about it! Thanks for catching that though; I’ll have to be more careful!!
Would you choose the street food or the luxury lunch set?
The luxury set for sure, though Minamoto no Yoritomo was the first shogun by quite a wide margin. Tokugawa Ieyasu was the first shogun of the Edo period.

My volunteer guide was kind enough to drive me to see the falls. That hotel restaurant is stunning!

Very similar to Chinese.
