Interesting thing about the paths is that they are rigid, but they can also be flexible. One can focus on multiple paths quite easily especially those who follow the warrior paths as they can perform other tasks during times of peace in between during or between training. There is also a great deal of variety on how one traverses a singular path. Using the warrior path for example again one can control how they fight, what physical traits they train, and more can be decided by the individual.
As far as I understand it the thing is that you don't follow several paths at the same time, a warrior would use all his time to train in his chosen aspect, a waiter would try to become a perfect waiter, an artist to become the greatest artist. Only after you have been fed up with a certain path you would switch and Eldar will become fed up with a path after a while. Actually one of the worst/tragic things that can happen is that one doesn't get fed up. The whole Idea is that Eldar are quite extreme in their emotions and Craftworlders will concentrate with laser tight focus on a goal, so that they don't get tempted by their more darker desires.
@@beastalchemistVA haha yeah I guess even Space Elves enjoy their nap. Great work to you and everyone else that helped make this video. I really enjoyed it!
Yo, I've been a fan of 40K for a decade and I always disliked how complex the Eldar are. I smoked some weed yesterday and watched your video and immediately fell in love with the Eldar. It is such a fascinating and emotionally complex species. Loved the Tau and Ork videos too. I like your comic dub videos and all, but my god, your 40K Videos (and that art style) is pure magic. Please keep it up!
If you ever do a video about Ork hierarchy, then I think Da Red Gobbo himself deserves to make an appearance at the very bottom, even below Squigs and Snotlings (Kinda like how C'tan shards were at the bottom of the Necron hierarchy video). He is after all an ontological manifestation taken on by/title given to those who seek to upend the hierarchy in its entirety
Dame imagine one who learns all the paths and each of the sects, even one who at least studied what the path of damnation is. They’d be a truly wise individual and I wonder if they’d be less arrogant?
I’m going to sound pissy, but the dark eldar act they way they do not to “appease” slaanesh. They are different from the craftworlders in that soulstones do not work oh them, giving them no refuge from slaanesh upon death, and slaanesh is constantly siphoning their souls away. Meaning they are on a constant timer. They act the way they do partly because, let’s be honest, they like it and don’t want to change, and because they have found a way in so acting to siphon off emotions from their victims and replenish what slaanesh siphons off. As much as they are absolutely horrible individuals, it is part of their way of surviving.
Superb video full of really interesting eldar lore! Just one minor nit pick on the Path of the Warrior. The final battle against Chaos is called Rhana Dandra which means "The End of all Days", and where every Phoenix Lord will perish, being Fuegan the last to fall. The Rioghile Bhlar is just a battle where all the Phoenix Lords gather to fight, but it doesn't mean that battle is the final one. Other than that, really good job on this video!
Mourners and celebrators have been a thing in human societies, but having to have someone celebrate or mourn for you kind of sucks. And unlike the Drukhari the Assuryani actually tried to stop the debauchery of their species before the fall.
Wait... wait wait wait... Tzeentch demons sometimes try to find ways to craft ships in the warp right? The end result is they hit real space and dissolve. Slaanesh is always eating Eldar, like those who walk(ed) the path of the shaper...right? soooo, why hasn't a Slaaneshie demon ever told a Tzeentch demon how to do it?
Some worship slannesh so it’s quite common from some exile be working for demons of slannesh or even some emperor children who keep him safe from his other brothers in turn for their services . There is also geenstelers Eldar being normaly infected Eldar who got the gernslter kiss
I think a potential path for the Asuryani is The Path of The Smith. There's got to be *_someone_* who makes the vast weapons & armor The Eldar uses, or at least oversees sections of the automated protection lines, to make sure those who're on the front lines stays safe and alive.
Bone singers can make wraithbone weapons for the Eldar. But you are right about the other equipment. Who makes that exactly? I would like to learn more!

I would probably say No: 1. Humans don’t nearly live as long as Eldar so they have less time to reach an Eldar’s level of mastery. 2. Humans nearly as fast or agile as an Eldar is, so they probably can’t physically make the cut. 3. Eldar are generally pretty xenophobic so even you wanted to emulate the Aspect path their reaction is probably going to range from: “Hahaha, the Mon’Keigh thinks it’s capable of being an aspect warrior, that’s hilarious” to “The Mon’Keigh is denigrating our Aspect paths, kill it for the audacity of think it could be one of our equals.”
@@somerandommen Wow he did I didn’t know the Emperor himself did that I’m still kinda new to 40k lore but from what I’ve read the Emperor was actually rather fond of the Aldarei so why is it that the Imperium still hate them like they hate all other Xenos?
@@seangray6131 The Emperor respected them, especially Eldrad, but ultimately he viewed them as failures which Mankind could learn from, and possibly save from extinction if we completed our other goals first (but he viewed most xenos like that, outside the Orks). Overall the average Human relationship to the Aeldari is complex. On one hand, the Imperium has allied with the Aeldari more than any other race. If you see a xenos and a human together, and they're not fighting, the xenos is probably an Aeldari. On the other hand, the general arrogance of the Aeldari and the abundance of Drukhari leaves a horrible impression for average humans. I'd say that the Aeldari tend to be hated slightly less than other xenos, but the humans who hate the Aeldari are much more passionate about their hatred than humans who hate other races.
