The kohlepp case is never truthfully told- it only takes one more step to get the real story there, and personally, I think its one very interesting part. The POLICE didnt track the location of Carver's phone...HIS EX-WIFE DID. She was not getting her child support and the authorities were paying her no mind when she started complaining. SHE called the phone company and said she was a detective and SHE located the property. She went there snooping. When she informed the Sheriffs ofc. the information she had gotten and threw a fit until they went and investigated,(bc they did not take the missing persons cases seriously.) The police charged HER with impersonating a police officer. This was widely reported when the story broke, but the police have been able to cover their poor response in the media with their own B.S. (I'd like to see a movie made from Carver's ex-wife's perspective)
Great clarification. Also they made it sound like kohlepp just “got in a fight” with the guy. Just skipped right over that insanity of holding a whole person captive in a shipping container. He was an absolute monster who lured those couples to his property to kill the male and enslave the woman.
stole her childs diaper, ran a dna test unbeknownst to her, and then tried to accuse her of having an affair...no idea why she didnt want to talk to police
Maybe she did tried to explain the first time they accused her. The second time, maybe she was hurt abt her husband's death, then still being accused of having an affair and no way of proving it false cause she didnt have her husband's dna to conduct her own dna test made her like dismissive of em
I would've sued their asses. That's horrible. But I believe they can get DNA however they want but I'm not sure. I know cops do that but not sure if a warrants needed
An interesting fact about the John List case is that the family mansion in NJ had an antique skylight made by Tiffany that was worth enough money to solve all of List's money problems. Had he been aware of this rare piece of art that had come with his home, he could've sold it for BIG Bucks instead of murdering his family.
Had he tried working before killing all his family, he could have solved his problems without making even more of them. If he was able to hide his not working, he could've hidden his working a lower-tier job.
You missed the absolute BIGGEST twist in the John List case: the ballroom he put the bodies in had a chandelier. A rare Tiffany chandelier, worth around $40,000.
I am so happy for the mother of Zebb Quinn to finally be on the path to having answers and some sort of closure. I have followed this case for years and you could see how much it aged and weighed on her. It was also very obvious that there was something off with the coworkers story about pulling over and am surprised it took all these years to finally have the evidence needed to charge him.

As a pet owner myself, I always worry about those things.
Have you ever gone to your doctor for a blood workup and the "vampire nurse" has trouble getting a sample so they just give up? The court order said, "get a sample of this man's blood under supervision" and someone said, "Nah, too hard." WTF?
As a professional vampire nurse type person, you are only legally/ethically allowed to attempt blood collection 2xs. Up to 3 people can try, a total of 6 attempts. After that, the Dr can write for different types of blood collection. Artery or foot collection, PICC line. So, yes, "too hard" is an actual thing.
@@JustKrista50 I've had a nurse struggle with taking my blood before and they just switched to a different vein. That's just incompetence. He's a suspect, he shouldn't be allowed to direct them to the same spot over and over again.
Wow... That's insidiously amazing what that doctor did with the blood. I have many medical problems, so I get blood drawn often, and they never use the same vein. How is it they happened to get that precise one? I wonder what other creepy things he's done that nobody has caught him for.
I'd like to hear why they decided to just drop it after he said she 'hallucinated' the assault, but clearly had semen traces and drug traces in her body. Even if he didn't do it, someone did, right?
It's not uncommon for phlebotomists to ask if there is a good vein to draw from. Some people really only have one good one, my mom for example. As a doctor, it would be really easy for him to direct them to the correct spot by saying it's the only good vein to draw from.

For the murder of the Codds, Jason Owens was convicted and will serve a minimum of 59 ½ years in prison up to a maximum of 74 ½ years. This trial brought attention once again to Zebb's case. On July 10, 2017, a grand jury indicted Owens for first-degree murder in his death. Owens told a strange story blaming his uncle, Gene Owens, for killing Quinn. He claimed that his uncle forced him to help dispose of the body by dismembering and burning it. Rather than go to trial, Owens pleaded guilty to being an accessory after the fact to first-degree murder. He received a sentence of ten years, which he will serve concurrently with those in the Codd case. He should have gotten more time but at least he'll never set foot out of the prison again.

Then the cops accuse you of having an affair w your husbands best friend & being his killer! I can’t imagine... poor woman had a rough year for sure Prob for the wrong man. Since they are so good at their jobs 🤦🏻♀️ And the sociopath who killed all his wives & anyone who crossed him should have been put away after killing the first family. Or how the rapist doctor abused of his daughter, his patient, obstructed justice for years and only got 6 YEARS IN PRISON, insane, that guy should have been locked up for a longer time.
Cops aren't always incompetent. Some know exactly what they are doing. Which is why I got charged twice, 6 years apart, for a crime that never happened. Even having a witness, to the entire nights events in 2002, was totally ignored. My crime was being male, with a complainant being female. That nasty girl screwed my life over, (as I later found out, I was the fourth) and there was no evidence anywhere. It's a long story with a number of twists, which many think I'm making up. HELLOOO the girl had been off her meds for 10 months apparently. And real life isn't always logical. So just because brainless twats don't see the logic they expect, doesn't mean the entire case is a lie. People can be immensely stupid while thinking they're really smart.

You missed a twist in the List story. List killed his family because he was broke and couldn't keep them in the lifestyle they were accustomed to. The twist is that the skylight in the mansion was an original Tiffany stained glass and was valued at 6 figures in the 70s. He could have helped the money issues had he only put some thought into it rather than murdering his family. Then again, he had much bigger issues than money apparently.

Thank you. This story is never told fully. Appreciate your insight and info

An interesting fact about the John List case is that the family mansion in NJ had an antique skylight made by Tiffany that was worth enough money to solve all of List's money problems. Had he been aware of this rare piece of art that had come with his home, he could've sold it for BIG Bucks instead of murdering his family.
There is absolutely no evidence to support this story. This is an urban legend.
What a tragedy, the fact that he went with his son to soccer first while planning to kill him…. Can’t imagine
Had he tried working before killing all his family, he could have solved his problems without making even more of them. If he was able to hide his not working, he could've hidden his working a lower-tier job.
Nobody kills like that. He had mental issues
@@AntediluvianRomance honestly I think he was just a sick individual looking for a reason to do what he did

As a fellow AFG Vet who knows how damn hard Sam worked for that 62k, makes this case even more upsetting! RIP Brother!
My thoughts too, the amount of sacrifice for that 62k and knowing how that man had to earn it and to murder and chop his head off. I hope that monster gets tortured every day till finally gets put down.
I’ve heard the Schneiberger story before... it’s a perfect example of an individual who thinks he’s smarter than everyone else. I’m glad he got what he deserved.
6 years in prison?? That is just baffling

Well, the whole false vein thing with decoy blood is pretty ingenious. Too bad it was to evade consequences for his awful crime.
6 years was all he deserved?
I appreciate the part about the puppy! So glad that it found a loving home!🐶✨❤️
One of my favorite things about this channel has to be how you tell us what happens to the pets that were abandoned or belonged to convicts. I've seen that happening in two of your videos so far where the pet was taken into a new home, and each time it really helps alleviate the heaviness of the story. As a pet owner myself, I always worry about those things.
Came across your channel last night... subscribed!! Brilliant content, impecable delivery....God bless...!
How did I just find out you guys started this channel!? I’ve missed these videos so much! Thanks guys for the great content :)
Have you ever gone to your doctor for a blood workup and the "vampire nurse" has trouble getting a sample so they just give up? The court order said, "get a sample of this man's blood under supervision" and someone said, "Nah, too hard." WTF?
It's Canada, eh.
I've missed these crime videos from you guys. Amazing work. It's a nice change of style then most other crime channels.
Wow... That's insidiously amazing what that doctor did with the blood. I have many medical problems, so I get blood drawn often, and they never use the same vein. How is it they happened to get that precise one? I wonder what other creepy things he's done that nobody has caught him for.
Him being a doctor, he was allowed to draw the first samples himself! This case was full of police incompetence.
@@ndawn90 true. They always ask me, and I tell them, but they done listen. If course my veins are trashed, I'm T1D. That's scary not just what that dr did, but the lengths he went to.
@@Sara-sn5gd as the doctor admitted that he had given her the drug, only the semen would be left, they must have assumed that she had sexual intercourse and then the semen came.

I always wondered what happened to Quinn. It’s been so long and so intriguing, that you could never pin point an actual time or person that he came into contact with. I hope we find out what happened to Quinn, as his family and loved ones deserve answers.

I know these cases so far (first 2) ... but every time I never fail to get so angry at the cops & their incompetence!!!
Imagine being pregnant & your love is murdered.. you deliver your baby alone. Then the cops accuse you of having an affair w your husbands best friend & being his killer!
I can’t imagine... poor woman had a rough year for sure
Prob for the wrong man. Since they are so good at their jobs 🤦🏻♀️
And the sociopath who killed all his wives & anyone who crossed him should have been put away after killing the first family. So sad his wife at time stood by him. When you’re on their good side, you can’t imagine what monsters they are. My “Prince Charming” was the cruelest person I’ve ever known
Or how the rapist doctor abused of his daughter, his patient, obstructed justice for years and only got 6 YEARS IN PRISON, insane, that guy should have been locked up for a longer time.
The police is miserably bad. And this come over and over again.

Why is it in every single case I watch online, the police botch, mess up, or pursue leads that could have prevented so many of these crimes?
Their main goal is to keep everyday people in line and serve the whims of the rich and powerful. Solving real crimes is a side gig to appease the public and even then a lot of times they couldn't be arsed.
Absolutely crazy listening to that first story, I've heard the story about the Amazon Review murderer so many times but no one has ever mentioned that part of his crimes. Really shows that every crime has a tragic story behind it, even if they aren't the ones that seem immediately interesting.
12:49 This is the most sickening part to me. He had already killed his older sister and younger brother, and then with their bodies cooling in the home, he was cheering you on.
