The F-84 in this video is not from a SAC unit, but the 78th Fighter Bomber Squadron of the 81st Fighter Bomber Wing. I was with the 78th Tactical Fighter Squadron (A-10A) from 1986-92.
Thanks for the reply. I am trying to organize a visit real soon. I know that SAC did fly the F-84 as part of their Strategic Fighter Wings and older Fighter Escort Wings.
Went to visit yesterday. Very impressive. Ranks up there with my favorites (RAF Cosford, Duxford and the Castle Air Museum). Staff was very friendly and knowledgeable. Great day out; top notch!
Thanks guys ! Cool place - I would enjoy a visit sometime . Great stuff .
I always enjoy the music as the camera does a tour of the aircraft. Republic made some historic aircraft.
Frankenstein thunderstruck is perfect for this time of year. Thank you.
