Just be thankful that this was in London, not New York, as our crews just put a little bit of water on it job done, but had it have been across the pond the whole of the park would have been engulfed in flames as they all stand around looking at it before deciding what to do.
You're funny pal. NYFD has some of the best trained firefighters. The grass here almost caught on fire cause the idiot with the hose was spraying it at a direction which it could catch. Nice try with your precious little islanders.
That guy running about worrying about what everybody else is doing yet the biggest numpty was himself for parking that Golf buggy about 6 feet away from the flames!
@@captainjacksparrow9744 You’ve rather missed the point! Riding a bicycle over a high pressure hose may not do any real harm, but the cyclists don’t necessarily know that. They have entered a boundary, and that is disrespectful, rather like stepping over a collapsed person in the street.
Had a bin fire on a holiday park. I jumped in the bin and put the thing out. Bin was saved. lol. I wouldn't suggest doing it yourself though unless it's safe to do so of course
Lol, jumping in a burning bin is always going to be a bit sketchy. I think I would have peed on it. Next days headlines, "Quick thinking man saves park from total disaster with powerful urine performance" See page 5 for action pictures.

@@brentbaxtuh if this was new york half the city would have responded then take 15 minutes to get water on the fire
@@cm93431 nope
@@brentbaxtuh FDNY, as with most US departments, is still using outdated technique.
And would have taken 5 minutes to get water on, not 30 seconds 😂

He deffo just thought he was some figure of authority because he's some sort of "Park Monitor" that has a buggy and a hi-vis.
Rather a silly little man. His wife is the boss at home, so he's a jobsworth at work. "I'm official, me, official!"
The CM stood there like he's a training school instructor. Sure they'll be fine mate it's a bin, go and whack your stop message in 🤣
sub o*
Fire was tiny to start with. Maybe carry a fire extinguisher in the park buggy. Fires in summer with cigarettes or bbq must be common.
"what we need now lads is a bin to put all this debris in"
That little bit of West Belfast in the heart of London.
Oops one less bin in Hyde Park now 😝😝
Riding over their hose is very disrespectful, people should have carried their bikes over.
Don't think most Londoners know the meaning of respect for others these days, horrid place.
respect that you pointed that out
Tbh driving over a hose doesn't really do anything to the hose

Why was that bin not fitted with a sprinkler system. Andy England 🇬🇧👍
wowwwwwww what a "huge" fire......
It doesn’t look as big as it did in real life.
Fairly substantial for a bin fire, as stated in the title of the video.
21st Century London Emergency Services.
One thing wrong about this video… the buggy; why is it so close to the fire..? IT’S ELECTRIC
This is why my mom told me not to throw cooking oil in the trashcan and why you should never dump batteries in the trashcan.
Plastic bins are a hazard. Surely now a days we should only be using metal bins.
It was Kensington Gardens not Hyde park.
Kensington Gardens is Hyde Park
@@BusesTrainsandOtherthings: Have been to The Albert Hall twice, but always in the evening. It looks lovely from the park.

Buggy was left too close to fire.
HUGE !!
I don't like those big plastic wheelie bins because they melt. It's like they're made of chocolate.
pretty scary
I'm surprised nobody was screaming Allys snack bar
I’ve bin there!!!
Why waste the fire services time the park ranger could have put that out himself
What if they dont have a fire extinguisher or any type of hose?

It would take 5 crews in usa to put that fire out

he could have pulled it away from the other bin mind you if you have no brain cells left it let to move the buggy
He does not have safety gear and could of got hurt if the fire went his towards body. So uhh do you have brain cells?
