No def not just you but almost coz there's prob not many that can appreciate how cool it is. Especially at the time. I believe the same person also made the 15 to 1 theme too
@happyjonn9242 Also, Watching, Keeping Up Appearences, Second Thoughts, The Brittas Empire and 2 Point 4 Children...not all on Friday night but definitely the same era.
More depressing, if you were older than two contestants of an episode's ages combined. Thankfully, I've not encountered that yet. But it's getting worryingly closer than I'd like it to be. That's the day you officially become old.
By far the hardest game show there has ever been... and incredibly clever for those that notice that each general knowledge question is derived from the previous question.
I really miss this show. This feels like a later one to me, I don't remember it being so scifi. How good was Janet though? I don't remember seeing someone winning so definitively when I was a kid.
Kay Louise Kirkpatrick Ben Shepard did bring it back but it didn't last very long. That was around 2008. I like the Gordon Burns one the best although it was good when Ben Shepard did it, but I think it was better when Gordon Burns did it.
@@muhammadalieesaa3379 They killed that by removing yet another round in the 2010 series. They already had for the 2009 revival series, that had 5 rounds, although from 1977 to 1986 they had 5 rounds so may have been a nod to that. Narrowing it to 4 rounds was crap, and the assault course in 2010 was better and was almost as good as the old Holcombe Moor assault course! Better left in the past now I'm afraid
Andrew you well and truly deserved your series win as you were sharp when it mattered and were like a friend to the other competitors. Absolutely outstanding. :D
I remember him being everywhere in early 90s! Bit depressing when you found out what happened to him. He burnt himself out from working, got addicted to cocaine and became a bit of a recluse for many years.
@@muhammadalieesaa3379 I wouldn't go that far but they're obv clever and quick with it. Let's not forget, before the televised episodes they had auditions, and the 36 best (more in earlier series) were who we saw compete on the televised show

What memories, me, my mum and my two brothers watching this in 1992. We all used to pick colours and cheer on our contestants....I miss those days.
Oh man. I used to love this show when I was younger. It was one of the best programs on at the time.
The memories as a kid... after having a bath then laying on the carpet in front of the TV watching this.
I did the same thing.. never at that age did I ever think kids like me all over the world doing the same thing :)

so true i watched this back in the 90s and would never watched more than 10 minutes

I love the theme music. Pitty the art of noise never put it on one of thier albums
Art of Noise Beatbox is very similar to the theme tune, and Crusoe, is a reworked version of this theme. 🙂
They say television has been dumbed down, I don’t even understand the rules of the rules of the first round.
I asked for one of those flight sims as a child for Chrimbo.
I got an airfix Spitfire instead.

Why did they call this show the Krypton Factor?
"Potato"
4!
