Thanks a lot for referencing my Shadow Receiver asset.
I hope it will help you and others create amazing new content.
Shadows add so much immersion to AR/MR content.
If there is any feedback feel free to approach me!
Hi DevDunk, thank for making that great asset ! :) Will link it in the description for anyone to try it :D
Where is the link to White Circle Fade?
"The white circle fade texture will be in the description" - Isn't in description
Could you please post the link to the Shadow Receiver shader you used here? Loving these new MR tutorials, keep them coming!
Where is the white circle texture link?
How can i grab the cube
How to grab this cube?
How can we Grab the cube?
I have the second type of shadows showing up on other objects and controllers, but not on the ground. I can't find why 😐Will update if I find why, or please anyone drop the answer in response to this comment
Update: it seems like it's because there is no surface on the ground, as the shadow is visible when I add a white plane, but I am not sure what should be added on the ground or maybe if it's because I need to set up the rendering order differently. Did many tests for a couple hours but haven't found the final solution. The fact that the Meta SDKs have changed over time does not really help either to be honest, something might be handled differently by default
Awesome tutorial! can we use the post-processing in pass through mode?
hi im haveing an issue where it just shows the project and not the pass thought in the build @Valem Tutorials
Great stuff! I think I would have led with the non-code method but the results are perfect. Thank you for this.
I don't know how meta hasn't made a light estimation API yet.
thank you, i am also curious about this, hopefully they do add it soon
Wonderful as always!
I would love if you could make a video showing how to use unity input system with the oculus integration and the quest 3!
I'm trying to redo what you did in the video "VR Third Person Controller" but in XR using the quest 3 but i don't understand how to link the controllers input to the character actions.
I think would be useful for transforming many standard unity projects in mixed reality projects, anyway watching a character running in your room and jumping on your desk is mindblowing!
Thanks !
I just subscribed on Patreon after seeing Quest 3 tutorial series!
Thanks for your amazing contents!!!
Great tutorial as always! I really appreciate your tutorials. Looking forward to learn something about AI navigation :)
This is awesome. Just out of curiosity, will you be covering how to add items to walls and stuff? Using the anchors?
The shadow part is awesome, but being able to raycast into the mesh scanned, and then how to change the material of the mesh as well?? You killed like 3 birds with one stone! Thanks a lot! Keep up the good work
Great tutorial, have you found a way to get scene light estimation? to adjust light and shadows of mixed reality with the real world?
are you having any issues with hand grabbing in mixed or are you only able to yse controllers now?
🤦♂️🤦♂️
Hello again valem! I am glad you are bringing amazing tutorials to us all!
I bought quest 3 because of you Valem :D
Looks great! I learned new things again!
I only have the shadow rendered on my left eye.
These are great, thanks for taking the time to go through these things
Yo yo yo …… nice …very cool🎉
Awesome tutorial! Would be nice if one could scale the shadow based on the distance from the ground. What do you think about that?
A workaround, but with the paid version of shadow receiver URP you might be able to do something like this when you move a spotlight closer.
This isn't how shadow works irl however.
I'm still figuring out how pokemon go does darker shadows the closer an object is to the ground
hi
