@@VMPPerformanceTV do you recommend upgrading the harmonic balancer from the stock unit? Even though my car isn't boosted yet? I figure a drop in rotational mass would help while its NA.
I am looking at the Mantic twin disk ceramic clutch for a 2017 Mustang GT PP for a daily driver. Can anyone tell me if this will last a long time without removing it. I see they are rebuildable just dont want to keep taking it out. I am not racing this car but I do have an 18 yr old son so I know burnouts may be a possibility? Basically once I install it is it set it and forget it?
Hey Steven, we have Mantic clutches in a few cars including our media guy's 2016 Mustang GT with an Odin. It's been trouble free and a blast to drive for nearly 15k miles and JD dailies his car with the occasional spirited bit of driving. His clutch is the Cerametallic Twin paired with a Calimer Stage 3 and the car makes 700whp via an Odin Supercharger.
We've used and had great luck with Mantic clutches in a variety of horsepower levels and find that they not only hold the power, but drive fantastically. Our big power SEMA car with a Predator Swap has one and the social media guy's 700 rwhp daily has one.
VMPPerformance forgive me. I spoke too soon. Kind of new to the channel, saw yesterday’s live show, and Joe you’re great ! I guess it’s just that Alex has that infectious smile ... there. My man-crush has been exposed.... lol joking. Can’t wait to see your truck get some tires and suspension ! Sold off most of my German stuff - going back to my roots and looking for the right buy on a 2wd reg cab shorty - tough “sleddin” as we say up here in the great white north as not a lot were sold. I’m patient tho. May have to come see you guys in the future for some VMP magic. Stay tuned and keep on truckin ! (You should put that on a t-shirt ....)
Good info Joe, I have a question, now that the 2018 comes with a twin disk clutch , and I have 2015 Roush RS3 will this clutch swap over to the 15-17? I ask because can't see spending over 2k for a clutch at this time. Thanks Joe and keep vids coming.
Any recommendations for a Shelby GT350?
Mantic clutch and mgw shifter! We carry both at vmp.

I don't believe it's necessary.
Joe Goodnough is a serious guy and is very talented too. Alex might be funnier but my vote is for Joe.
If Alex hurt your feelings, just say that.
I love mine if you change the spring and shifter the car comes alive

On a gt350 with a t56 magnum xl swap, McLeod, mantic, or rps twin disc. No digs roll race only

Great clutch system i run this in my high HP car
Hey can ask what year your mustang is and do you still get any lockout?
@@hatch450sx3 I'm getting ready to put a Mantic 9000 and a Calimer stage three in my S550 (2021) ...I'll come back and let you know when I do.
mantic vs mcleod?
Both have their place
@@VMPPerformanceTV For MT82 RST would be on a safe side vs RST clutch? RST will destroy the tranny faster? I have a 600whp 2015 5.0
I finally got a triple disk! Throwing my McLeod in the trash 🗑
Let me be the first to say you gave up the sauce (spilled the beans).
Alex should be doing these reviews. No offence to this guy but his camera presence is ..... Lacking
No offense taken, how would you recommend I improve my camera presence? I am plagued with RBF so asking me to smile more won't work. -Joe
