Just had the RXT installed on my 2015 GT with a Kenne Bell supercharger. I have to get 1000-1200 clutch cycles b4 I can get on the Kenne Bell, any dyno's, burn outs etc. Reading to disengage my traction control when breaking in?
So do i have to have the dealership run a TSB on my 07 GT500 before i order parts to see if they did the upgraded TO Bearing? Do they record that? Im not the original owner.
I have a 2010 Camaro ss 610 rwhp Had a mcleod Rst it burnt up just installed a mcleod rxt with a ram throw out bearing haven't drive it 50 miles yet still breaking it in and still have clutch chatter cant wait until I can do pulls after the 500 mile break in😆😆😆
Haha, it’s ironic that I came back to this video. I installed a RST Clutch in my 700whp 5.0 and I burned it up from doing a lot of dig racing. Thought my transmission went out, but after doing some research, it was in fact the clutch :(
Mario Toledo the 10+ specific kit 6975-07M will not work with a factory 07-09 flywheel. You’d need a 10+ OEM replacement flywheel and the short bearing to make it work in an 07-09.
You can install the RXT on a completely stock car without any issues. We ran one on our brand new 2011 5.0L and it worked great for us even at stock HP levels.
No tune is needed for a clutch swap however you will need to to a crank relearn with a device after the swap is done. This is required for most clutch swaps to prevent any codes from being thrown. Let us know if you have any other questions. Thanks!
Depending on the year/model the type of flywheel can vary. 99-04 8 bolt cars as well as 11-20 GT/Boss and 07-09 GT500 all use the same flywheel. It's the 10-14 GT500, GT350 and 2018+ mustang that use a different 8 bolt flywheel. Each one has their specific part number dedicated to it.
I have a street level McLeod clutch in my 03 gt, put about 3,000 miles on it and yes it chatters. My tuner told me that’s what these clutches are known for but they do their job.
Wow!!! So an 800hp clutch is not good at the track??? Where does Mcloud think a person with 700rwhp is going to use it??Im very confused.. Now I see why my RST seems to engage sooner after it warms up..Not cool..
These guys are slamming the shit out they're rods.....expect a weak spot at whatever setup you run.....It's common sense...You spelled McLeod wrong in your comment.....
Can the RST be upgraded simply by replacing the organic discs with ceramic discs from the RXT ???
Excellent Video, exact info i was looking for. How many hours for install in my 2019 mustang gt?
stupidfast GT 3-4 hour install time for an experienced mechanic with the proper tools and a lift.
2011-14 Mustang 3.7 MT82....600whp/600tq recommendations?

A whole kit for a 10-14 can be use in a 07-09 with right flywheel?

I have a mcleod singel disck .. what baering i should use ?
It depends on what car it's being used in and what transmission you have. With a little more info we can recommend the proper bearing for you.
Thanks!

@@salmanalajmi6740 You want to use a new Ford OEM bearing which we list on the site.
I'm looking for a clutch with a slave cylinder for a 2005 Corvette c6
What do you recommend me??
I have a Mcloed, RXT with flywheel, TOB and clutch line. Is it normal to get a rattle at idle? it goes away when you press the clutch
Nice setup! Yes that is normal for a twin disc setup.
Is it okay to install RXT clutch on a stock 2018 GT and will it effects the car in any way?

Do we need a tune when changing it out?

Wait so do these kits come with the different fly wheel?

Is it normal to have vibration or chatter on a McLeod rst for mt82
I am having this vibration and chatter when I'm in High gears low speeds very scary to hear this it's normal? I was worried LOL I have the rxt
Can you make a video of the chatter please so people can hear that to confirm that it's safe
