- SALAH HACKS EVERY MUSLIM NEEDS TO KNOW -Asalamualaikum all, upon request, here are my tips/ hacks on making sure we all perform salah (prayer) on time. I really hope it helps you guys inshallah.
So in this video, you will learn MY salah hacks that I think every muslim needs to know.
Granted I know all the salah tips so please don't forget to leave me a comment on which SALAH HACKS you believe really help you stay on top of your salah and especially praying salah on time.

Assalamu ‘alaykum wa rahmatullahi wa barakatuh. Jazakillaha khair for the beneficial video. I just wanted to mention one point to you my beloved sister. During the video, you mentioned that If a person is too shy to pray standing in the changing room they can just sit and pray. Standing is an obligatory part of the salah, which cannot be abandoned unless you have a valid reason (i.e due to a sickness). However, it is permissible to pray sitting during voluntary prayers as this is something the prophet ﷺ did.
Narrated `Imran bin Husain:
(who had piles) I asked Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) about the praying of a man while sitting. He said, "If he prays while standing it is better and he who prays while sitting gets half the reward of that who prays standing; and whoever prays while Lying gets half the reward of that who prays while sitting."(Bukhari)

When I started praying regularly I realised a few things..
1. Makeup is not your friend.
2. It's really hard being a woman in a public place in prayer time when there is no prayer area around & while travelling.
3. Not everyone understands your struggles.
But I know Allah is watching me and the more struggle I face to pray my salah the more rewards I will earn InShaAllah.. 😁

Sabrina Samsuddin the makeup one is so true i see a lot of Muslim girls wearing makeup and fake nails how do you even make wudu with all that makeup and the fake nails are haram including the fake hair and eyelashes you can’t make wudu with fake nails on

We have an athaan clock in the house. It's so awesome to have because the moment it goes off the TV is switched off and we go and make wudu.

By the way: please avoid praying sitting unless it's absolutely necessary inshallah.
In the mall, you can also pray in the stairs or emergency stairs. People normally take escalators or elevators so the stairs is very private and perfect. (Fitting is ok but music is normally blasting and sometimes there is a long queue and you are in a rush)
After reading these comments and watching your video, I've come to realise how lucky I am to live in a muslim country, where there are mosques and prayer rooms everywhere. We often take these little things for granted until we see someone else having it worse. Alhamdulillah. thankyou nafisa, for this video!

That what I thought ALLAH has blessed me with a country where it's so easy to pray any where .we have pray mats in offices ,school college ,parks, hospital,malls you name it but unfortunately we take it for granted ..even after all that ease we skip our prayers :(

In my country there are not mosques, we have praying centers but it’s illegal to officially open a mosque.

Unfortunately I live in France, where it is forbidden to pray in public spaces, but actually I had never though about changing rooms in shops !
I'm a student, and maybe at university I could find a quiet and "hidden" room to do salah, even if I think I would not be able to focus on my prayer, being too afraid of somebody coming in 😕
Cécile H I admire your struggles living in France, we hear about how different things are there for Muslims, may Allah strengthen you all and reward you for continuing in his obedience despite the difficulties.

I realised that I can't be bothered wearing makeup anymore and that reading namaz and quran has bought a natural noor to my face mashallah sis I can see the noor on your face too 💝
Guys the best changing rooms to pray in is at M&S. They have room for two, floor to ceiling door and no music.
I need friends that will sneak into an empty dark room with me just to pray 🙌😇btw your very intelligent mashallah💖💖I want to grow to be like you inshallah

What I do to pray in time, if Adhan goes while doing something I just imagine what if I die now then I just leave and go pray

I work and i get 3 breaks. I usually use 1st break to pray dhur and and 2nd for asar and 3rd break for maghreb. And read isha and fajr at home. Alhamdulillah

I am living in Bosnia and on my university we don't have a prayer room but I use empty classroom in which the class will start later or finish earlier competed to the salah time. I am afraid too that somebody will come In, my heart is always beating like crazy but this is my only option and I think better like this than to miss salah. My suggestion would be as the sister mention just to plan your day around the salah time and think before leaving the house where could you pray salah after this make dua that Allah swt make it easier for you. If somebody has more tips about praying at university I would be really happy if they write it down in the comment ♡
Selam sestro! Thats so sad that you cant pray in a half muslim country your prayers in university. My heart arches to hear that. My suggestion: try to find other people who want to pray in university. Look at your structures of your university: is there any representation of students, which can help? Ask them. If not, just form one. Than you have to get a teacher into the boot. Look who would help and ask them for advice. Look around for your self: is there a space where you could pray, maybe a storerom and suggest that this could be your prayer place. So to summerise: find other people, form a group, find a teacher an a room and than you make an appointment with the "boss" of the university who makes such decision and aks him, what he would suggest. And at the beginning ask for a small room. Please dont ask for a big room with xyz, because it may be a risk. Later on maybe next year when you have a small space, ask for bigger one. And another suggestion is to look at your university what the most social department there is. For example like social work or medizin or something else. Go to the people who are most social in your university.
And if the bosa dont allow it, just look in the neighborhood if anybody of the muslims would give one of there rooms in their house to the students. Maybe Allah swt has choosen you to takle the problem and you may be the one who makes a change in the history of the university. May allah swt help and guide you. In shaa allah
@@catseyes8377 she can pray wherever she'd like, in Bosnia it's not a problem, but it's a bit weird to pray anywhere since we have a lot of Masjids everywhere.
The only exception to pray in the sitting room, is I did that once, and I advise people to sit and pray in a changing room. It created a huge security havoc, cuz the lady next to me thought there was a man who was a peeping tom trying to look under the door. I managed to slip out, while security came to look for the "peeping tom." I was just praying. So I suggest sit and pray and pray discreetly. lol
Nasreen Syed that's exactly why I suggested sitting because in a public place like that in a non Muslim country, you can't assume people will automatically know or understand what your doing and it may end causing more problems. I'm glad someone understood where I'm coming from. Ofcourse sitting to pray is the last option but it's better than missing the prayer entirely in my opinion.
I sometimes make wudu before I go out the house but I always break it lol. So I tend to do wudu in disabled toilets (no weird public stares). But if I'm at the gym I will do wudu in the women's gym toilets even if 1 or 2 people see. I also pray in changing rooms as well. Try to pray in less noisy shops.

This was so, so good. May I also suggest a dua to help those struggling with prayer:
"ربي اجعلني مقيم الصلاة ومن ذريتي ربنا وتقبل دعاء"
"Rabbi ij'alni mukeem al salati wa min durriyati, rabbana wa takabbal dua'a"
Meaning: "O my Lord, make me one who establishes regular prayer, and also (raise such) among my offspring. O my Lord, and accept Thou my prayer"
It was the prayer of Prophet Ibrahim and is an aya of surat Ibrahim in the Quran 😊

I think it really helps to carry a small bottle of water in it car or hand bag etc to be able to make an emergency wuhdu just about anywhere (out of sight ;) )

I think it is because when I miss it, I feel like my day is ruined and I feel depressed. Also it is because it is so calm and peaceful at this time of the day mashaAllah. Hum..I need to find how to recreate the same atmosphere during the day to pray on time inshaAllah.
I understand what you mean. Yes try your best to pray on time during the day, you may not have the same level of focus but its better than missing the salah, and over time you can work on building the concentration to the same as what you have during fajr, inshallah.

Great video sister may Allah reward for the good that you are doing. For Fajr prayer I put my alarm on my desk so that I can wake up on my way to the desk to turn off the alarm. It's very helpful

AHHHH LOVE THIS!!! honestly I think your first tip is what I would suggest as well. We dont plan to fail, we fail to plan, so to overcome this its best to schedule our day around our prayers. Asalaamu alaykum BarakAllahu feeki for the tips. I just wanted to mention that for the prayer it's is mandatory for us to stand as it is one of the pillars of the salah. we can sit unless we physically cannot stand or it's a big hardship to do so etc. so someone seeing us bowing down etc wouldn't count as a reason to be able to sit.

Love this video! Alhamdulillah the university I go to has many spaces designated for prayer so it's not difficult to find a prayer space since there is always one close by.

In The Netherlands we have special prayer area's for muslims in university. Hospitals also. It is still a struggle cuz it's not just finding a place to pray but also a place to make wudo. May Allah help us in that.
