Over the last year I've dedicated myself to hunting Enclave Flamers and mods. I've found 3 flamer Mods and about 12 actual flamers that dropped from the Enclave Dropped Connection event. The reflex sight is what you're looking for as a compliment to the flamer. The other vendors in the Savage divide also have a chance to sell the flamer mod, but it's a smaller chance it seems. Anti-Armor is king for the legendary effects. Good luck hunting these!

They do drop from it, but it's nowhere near as common as some make it out to be. I've done these events hundreds, maybe even over a thousand times, and I've only ever got it with reflex sight and true flamer mod once. Never with aligned flamer, though there are videos of others getting that from these events so it can drop aswell. Tons of useless versions with no mods on them at all though. I now have 8 of them, all with reflex sight, aligned flamer and refined beta wave tuner. But I found them all separately in Watoga vendors and Whitespring bunker. Just keep at it, you will get one eventually. Happy hunting.
The Enclave Plasma Sniper rifle is quite good too. You can pick things off from so far away with the scope, they can't even think about attacking you plus you get the sneak bonus.
i picked up a plasma rifle and was just going to scrap or sell it as at that time I hadn't been terribly impressed with plasma weapons. But I used a plasma sniper rifle to try it out and was really impressed so i figured I give this regular rifle a shot. Just about dropped the controller when a flame thrower like burst came out steadily. Been my main gun for over 50 levels now. Basically a regular plasma rifle with a flamer barrel and i think the refined beta wave tuner with a red dot scope. Short range but it's wicked!
Besides watoga, berkley springs vendor ( got two there) if you have 1st, when you run out of server hops, go into private, check vendors, go to public, logout, private, rebuild world also means fresh vendor stock. Also, enclave pistol from dropped connection can have flamer on it, mod it to rifle and voila.
I farmed a few Enclave plasma flamers and I must say trying to get the loose mod from one of the Watoga vendors is mostly a waste of time as it is so rare. If you want to do it anyway take a stack of vegetables with you and put one into the cash register at the train station - this allows you to check quickly if you already have been on a server while server hopping. Stop if you tend to run into servers you already visited and continue at a later point. The better option is just doing the Dropped Connection event until you get an Enclave Plasma Rifle with Flamer mod preinstalled (for VATS the aligned version) as if you get an Enclave plasma weapon there its guaranteed to have non-standard mods. You also want Stabilized stock to get it as rifle and Reflex sight as this reduces the AP cost by 15%. As capacitor you can go for the Calibrated beta wave tuner for the crit damage bonus if you want to use it in VATS (only available as loose mod, but not as rare as the flamer mod), otherwise the Prime capacitor is the best version because of the higher base damage it provides. For commando builds also Enclave plasma rifles with preinstalled Aligned automatic barrel are nice, but energy weapons perform poor in VATS because the automatic barrels for energy weapons don't have this huge -50% AP cost that automatic barrels have on ballistic weapons.
I have been looking for one for about a month using these 2 vendors. I do private than change to public server and hop a few times and than back to private. 2 days ago was my lucky day. Got one at the store than hopped servers a few times and found a second at the RR station within about 10 mins. Now need to pick correct weapons to attach them too.

The Watoga vendor bot and the Phoenix vendor bot are the only ones who can sell you the aligned flamer mod for the enclave plasma gun (unless they changed something about this). But some of the other enclave plasma gun mods can be sold in Ash Heap, Savage Divide and the Mire. In addition you can also get the loose mod from Cop a squatter or random mod spawns in Cranberry Bog, but this is even less farmable.
I actually found aligned flamer mod for this gun in a players shop. He was level 73 and was selling it for 50 caps. I felt bad to pay so little for such a rare mod. I gave him close to 5k caps. He was very happy.
Vampire EPR paired with Overeaters Secret Service set… run, gun up close headshots, no VATS, heal as you shoot, reduce damage taken, eat, drink… easy button build.
I just got mine today after 3 days of framing I was checking the stores and ended up getting it from drop connections and it came with a reflex sight I am so happy I've been slowly makeing a commando build
Excellent Vlog Am level 580 and I think you can guess I have more than a few of these. My best one is the 3 *** Blooded with 25% aim damage. The Enclave Drop is the best event to do. As for the Mods these are the most difficult mods to purchase or find. I have done that run through a good few times when it had the Glitch with the Bot at the end and all you had to do was kill the Bot exit and return as many times as you liked and you was Always given a 3*** item. I don’t think I have ever gotten the flamer from that run through but have heard you can. Keep up the good work 👍👍👍👍
I got mine awhile back and love it. It freakin’ melts the enemies. Since it uses ultracite ammo I farm the expedition at the casino quarter. It’s the one where you have to throw to bags into the back of a truck. I usual take around 1000 and I stop at 5000. When I get low I do this again. It’s also great for XP and caps. Enemies are always respawning. 👍
I got a Slug Buster as a quest reward and it was a fairly decent weapon. At the time, I was mid-game and struggling with DPS. I saw the flamer mod plan on a vendor and thought it sounded cool so I bought it just to try it. I was stunned by how good it was. Then I went and did the perks. Full Commando (yes that now works because it's an automatic), full science (energy weapon), plus all the other typical damage enhancing perks stacked and it turned into an absolute game-changing beast. At level 100'ish I was way out dps'ing guys that were way above me. I do have an Enclave one, and wanted to try converting it for a little extra boost, but the Slug Buster legendaries are nice, including that 50% Armor Pen. Think I'll give the Enclave build a try, but I'm just melting stuff with the Slug Buster. It's insane.
FYI: if you are rolling these DO NOT roll ones that dont have an auto barrel , reflex sight and stabilized stock. you can always ad a flamer later, but stock, reflex and auto barrel can not be added later. if you get a god roll like Q2525 it is worth a ton as an auto, but useless as a flamer or without stock/reflex. if you are on PC there are some workarounds, but on console you have no options
The fastest way I found out is having a lot of caps and server hopping for players vendors, some players will sell those Enclave weapons with the aligned flamer and reflex sight attached, and sometimes just the loose mods, the catch is those will come really expensive for around 15k -30k caps or even more If you want to do the server hop strategy do this: -First check drop connection event, then check both watoga vendors and next the player vendors, then server hop and repeat btw modus production terminal sometimes sells E plasma with the reflex sight the Calibrated beta wave tuner mod is also sold by the watoga vendors for its 50% critical dmg (For VATS users), still debatable vs the prime capacitor
In the transmission station, if you know how to photo Mode glitch, you glitch through the doors on the right after getting off the elevator. Basically takes you right to the end boss.
@@gametime2473 because if you’ve already done that part and you’re just farming a specific weapon, why repeatedly do it the long way? I’m not suggesting doing this the first time through at all. So that’s my mindset.
@@KetoFitChef I like to farm that 3 star Sentry bot too. I saw a way to repeatedly get to it and no server hopping. In the main lobby from the elevator on the left side is a white door with hand scanner. It takes you downstairs to where the Sentry bot is. It has about a 5 minute reset on it. It was NakedVaultDweller who put out the video about a secret at Transmission Tower 1AT-U03
That underground Enclave station is also a great place for general crafting/junk loot. Found 5 military circuit boards & at least 7 microscopes for example.
I got my 2nd complete Flamer Rifle with Reflex Scope from Dropped Connection. For me this is the way to go. Never got the mod from the vendors in 2 months. And was there daily 10 times minimum.
Firstly, great video! LOTS of useful info. I had been searching for one of these flamer barrel mods for sometime and I finally found one at Watoga! Then, I find a player who is selling one for 12,000c... of course I bought it. What I am trying to say is, pay attention to player vendors... they may have the mod or weapon already modded for sale.
did an enclave event literally 5 mins after watching this video and got the flamer barrel gun. first legendary mod put on gave me quad capacity, 25% damage while aiming, -25 AP cost. so yeah enclave event works nicely
After server-hopping for 1-3 hours per day for a month and not finding any Enclave Plasma Flamers or Mods I finally got one from Dropped Connection in Watoga like a week and a half ago. I then promptly got two more and the boxed mod since, and just a few days ago found some poor soul selling one in their CAMP vendor for less than 1000caps... with Bloodied on it already. Now to save up the 1000 modules I'll probably need for that god roll anti-armor legendary on my fav one :D
I specialise in Enclave gear in my shop. I have every variant of weapon and mods for sale. The best way to get the weapon is to do lobby hopping and check both watoga vendors for mods, and MODUS for a reflex rifle (then attach the mod). The attach a tuner for added burning and OFF YOU GO
Thats the way i did it. Got a reflex from modus and a flamer mod from watoga, than rolled bloodied ffr. After that i got a flamer enclave plasma from dropped connection, but no reflex on it. I dont think is usable without the reflex, what do you think.
@@stefancristiansteflic2720 if you want to reach full potential using VATS and crits then reflex is essential, it’s SOOO AP hungry. But flamers are so easy to use I would still recommend using one in free aim without a reflex for new players 👍
I both use and sell these in my shop in game. I currently have 8 of them, all with reflex sight, refined beta wave tuner and aligned flamer mod. I also have 2 Enclave pistols aswell, again, both with reflex sight, refined beta wave tuner and aligned flamer mod. I always carry 2 on me, an AA FFR DUR and a V FFR DUR. Would not be without em'.
server hopping and checking both shops at watoga have given me the best returns for the flamer mod. never had the flamer equipped rifle drop on dropped connection.
Idk if you can or cant get the rifle to drop with a reflex sight by raiding that event or station but you absolutely can find enclave automatic rifles with reflex sights from the whitesprings bunker. If you don’t find one on your first go, then just keep hopping servers until you do. And you can buy every gun you come across too, there will still be more there the next time around. I’ve found FOUR of the aligned flamer barrel mods in the past two days btw! All from farming the watoga vendors.
I find my first a couple of weeks ago from watoga dropped connection. Dropped with aligned flamed and reflex. First legendary attempt was Furious/25/15. I’ve not put it down since and I was fully specced into heavy guns.
I got my enclave flamer barrel as a box mod, which I found in the Cranberry Bog Bootleggers shack, upstairs behind the tool box on the table to the left as you come up the stairs.
I got extremely lucky, I just learned about this weapon and began my hunt. On my first try this morning I found the aligned flamer mod at vendor bot Phoenix
My friend got the rifle with the flamer mod from Dropped connection. So far I’ve had 2 pistols and a non flamer rifle and a buttload of metal armour 😂 Thanks for the vid Mr. WestTek! ✌🏻
I’ve gotten a bunch from Dropped Connection, one even had the desired reflex/stock but also the seldom seen True Flamer Barrel already attached to it which if I’m not mistaken is better for hip firing.
When you make these videos it would be greatly appreciated if you show the weapon with and without bloodied perks as bloodied builds make it hard to really see the difference in damage between other bloodied weapon builds due to all the various low health buffs. It also helps players that don't play bloodied to make more informed decisions for how they are wanting to play.
I’ve searched all the shops and train stations on and off for years now and only ever get night vision scopes. I’ve had ONE flamer rifle drop from “dropped connection” in all these years and rolled AA faster fire on it. It’s been a beast of a gun as a commando. BUT I’ve also rolled and modded regular plasma rifles flamers and automatic variants to great success against enemies and high damage output. Do yourself a favor and use a regular legendary plasma rifle until you finally get the enclave. It’s not really worth the frustration.
You can photomode glitch through the first door on the right at the beginning of the room. It takes about 10 seconds to walk down and through the double door straight into the power armor guy. Also, it should be noted. I have done this hundreds upon hundreds of times. No flamer once. Do dropped connection. It's the easiest way to get it.
I cannot for the life of me photomode through the door. Don't know why as I can seeitsjust a regular door but neither me or my girlfriend have managed it. Knowing it can be done means I know what I'm trying later lol
1:02 there are rumors that if you put the flamer barrel on an already automatic plasma rifle it uses commando perks but i cannot test this as im not that lucky

Have two flamers I got from trading one I paid 30k caps and a longshoreman outfit the other I bought the aligned flamer for 30k and had a enclave rifle with the desired attachments. Recently got an aligned auto with all attachments at the whitespring bunker too just have to get a good roll now. I want to say the aligned sniper is awesome too 2-3 most enemies

I never could get one. I just use the regular plasma rifle with the flamer mod. Its nearly as powerful and is still top tier if you can afford the ammo.
I got a quad, 25 fast firing, 50 less breakage. Turned it into flamer, killing EVERYTHING in sight. 3x commando cards, plus 3x science cards. I'm not scared of anything anymore.... only camp traps hehe 🤣
I’ve farmed multiple of these mods. The watoga station, the super duper mart in watoga then server hop. Or run all enclave events in the cranberry bog or mire region Edit, you can get one with the reflex sight by server hopping and checking the armoury terminal at modus enclave bunker
I'm still a noob at Fallout 76, and I haven't completed the BOS storyline yet, I just recently finished the main storyline, and I am working on trying to complete the tadpole quest to get the larger backpack for carry weight, and @MrWestTek I figured out why I wasn't able to level up recently, when I had 5-7 level ups I was tapping on the right analog stick and not the left analog stick (the one that allowed me to level up and figured it out and have been using the left analog stick now)
I recently bought the Enclave plasma rifle at Whitesprings bunker, so, I have that but now need the flamer mod. I already HAVE a regular plasma rifle that I added the flamer to and a stabilizer. It seems to work very well for me. I’m sure it’s not as good , but kicks azz anyway.
My Game Bro has dropped a Enclave Plasma Riffle with Flame Mod at Enclave Dropped Connection in Wytoga. He is a lucky guy but the Chance is very very very Low. Before i got a Flamer Mod, i do Server Hopping extrem. 20-30 Server Hopps per Day. After 4-6 Weeks i got one at the Vendor in Shopping Plaza. It's really nice to have this Gun but i think it's not the Best in all Situations.
I have a ton bunch of beautiful enclave flamers w reflex, I prime em and roll them for things like vampires or bloody. Right now I've got some really amazing ones, (a FFR Bloody 15crit, so bloody). I'm on XBOX. Idk something about the chase of getting them makes me always grind atleast one perfect enclave aligned flamer w reflex per week.
This is incredible. People going nuts for a few extra damage points. I use TWO "regular" plasma flamers at the same time, because energy weapons break too fast. One is Anti-armor the other is Vampire. Or, in other characters, both Vampire. So far, no complaints! AND on top of that, plans for all mods were a quick & easy task. So, why bother so much?... Oh, and for a Rifleman build, you can use Power Armor or go normal armor, in which case you also benefit from Unyielding, of course. I play to kill and loot, not to search for rare stuff - fine for me if it works well!!!
That is so cool. I like plasma weapons. Just started using the Plasma War Glaive. Gooifyng everything. 😆 Anywas back to that Enclave Plasma. I'll definitely try it out as flamer and thanks for the rifleman card info. 👍
In the Bunker, it is also random to find the rifle itself... there is a higher probability to get the gun instead. I think that I got the automatic rifle 2 out of 10 times or even 1 out of 10 times that I checked the "Production" vendor. The other difficult one to get and can only be obtained as a mission reward is the sniper barrel version. At this moment, I use the three variant of them. Anti-Armor flamer, Two shot sniper and an Anti-Armor Automatic Rifle. They kill it all. Regarding the Refle Sight... it is true that it reduces VATS cost in your weapons. In all the time playing I got like 100 rifles, by farming Enclave events and the bunker showcased... and out fo them, none had the reflex sight but different vriants of the scoped sights. And in the bunker you get a lot of guns... which cannot be converted into rifles because of the lack of mods.
Is a “plasma thrower” as good? I have the enclave flamer (but I haven’t been using either). I randomly looted the thrower from a dead enemy (I think it was an animal). But good to know it’s the riflemen cards to use if I do decide to start using them.
I literally just got mine luckily bloodied yesterday and it definitely definitely packs a punch a insane amount of damage mostly anything gets taken out within 2-3 seconds lol thing shreds but definitely eats bullets like nothing
Go to whitesprings service entrance in the door straight ahead and the terminal is there its faster then jump worlds till u find what Yr looking for he always sells 2 weapons and can buy with reflex sight And dropped connection is the other method
I go to Watoga every single time I enter a new server, check Whitesprings regularly, and do just about all Enclave events, been doing it for weeks, and still no luck…
should I get any of the Plasma plans from the vendor? like the Stabilized Flamer Barrel, or the True Flamer Barrel, or Aligned Automatic Barrel plans? or just look for the mods?
I pick on up last week and got a blooded faster fire rate on my third role. Jesus this thing downs enemies, half the time I don’t even have any rifleman damage cards but this thing just rips through mobs like cheese and my regular plasma rifle flamer has vampires on it and you will not die when using it
3:19 so does that method on the sheet actually rotates the shop to eventually get the mods after enough rotations or is it just another way to reroll the shop (random inventory nothing is guaranteed)?
I got the flamer barrel modded rifle from an Enclave event but to me it seems to do very little damage compared to my other weapons so I don't use it. But I might change that to a build I will do later.
ive got 4 of these with the flamer dropped connection is the best way, the vendors are a complete waste of time. believe it or not, ive bought 2 enclave scope box mods from the vendor at top of the world, but have never seen any mention them being a possible drop from that vendor. if you want one do Dropped connection every time you see it on the map, maybe I got extreamly lucky, but the odds dont seem that horrible
Unfortunately I don’t have proof due to how far apart they were, but I was able to get 5 flamer mods in like 6-7 hours but that was over a week ago. Haven’t found another since. With around the same amount of farming hours.
I have two of these and I'm undecided on which is better. One I have +50 armor pen and the other I have +25 based on my mutations which is +25. I always hear you want armor pen but why do I feel my +25 mutation one is killing enemies slightly faster?
I have the automatic variant and I am very hesitant so far to put the flamer on it cuz I don't want to waste it before I figure this build out but mine is showing it will do more damage with the Commando build when I highlight the flamer than it does with The Rifleman build
So I did the enclave quest at the beginning of the game when you answer the questions correctly and got one with the flamer mod. What im confused about is if their is any difference between "Aligned flamer" and normal "flamer" on the enclave weapon since the one from the quest dropped with just "flamer."
Rolled a vffr15fr one recently and also found the aligned flamer mod. also have another with the true flamer barrel on it, might just roll that one and trade them off though. just find that im not a fan of the ammo and repair upkeep on them even with the right perks. really good weapons though.

Calibrated Beta Wave Tuner capacitor if you want to increase critical damage and make it a boss killer.

There is no way to mod an enclave pistol to rifle. the mod doesn’t exist in the game….

Yeah tried Watonga vendors for weeks and then started doing ALL the Dropped connections, enclave plasma drops first day!

I have a better way. You look at the teams. It's quicker and you don't even have to move the character.

I have done that run through a good few times when it had the Glitch with the Bot at the end and all you had to do was kill the Bot exit and return as many times as you liked and you was Always given a 3*** item.
I don’t think I have ever gotten the flamer from that run through but have heard you can.

I got mine awhile back and love it. It freakin’ melts the enemies. Since it uses ultracite ammo I farm the expedition at the casino quarter. It’s the one where you have to throw to bags into the back of a truck. I usual take around 1000 and I stop at 5000. When I get low I do this again. It’s also great for XP and caps. Enemies are always respawning. 👍
I got a Slug Buster as a quest reward and it was a fairly decent weapon. At the time, I was mid-game and struggling with DPS. I saw the flamer mod plan on a vendor and thought it sounded cool so I bought it just to try it. I was stunned by how good it was. Then I went and did the perks. Full Commando (yes that now works because it's an automatic), full science (energy weapon), plus all the other typical damage enhancing perks stacked and it turned into an absolute game-changing beast. At level 100'ish I was way out dps'ing guys that were way above me. I do have an Enclave one, and wanted to try converting it for a little extra boost, but the Slug Buster legendaries are nice, including that 50% Armor Pen. Think I'll give the Enclave build a try, but I'm just melting stuff with the Slug Buster. It's insane.
FYI: if you are rolling these DO NOT roll ones that dont have an auto barrel , reflex sight and stabilized stock. you can always ad a flamer later, but stock, reflex and auto barrel can not be added later. if you get a god roll like Q2525 it is worth a ton as an auto, but useless as a flamer or without stock/reflex. if you are on PC there are some workarounds, but on console you have no options
The fastest way I found out is having a lot of caps and server hopping for players vendors, some players will sell those Enclave weapons with the aligned flamer and reflex sight attached, and sometimes just the loose mods, the catch is those will come really expensive for around 15k -30k caps or even more
If you want to do the server hop strategy do this:
-First check drop connection event, then check both watoga vendors and next the player vendors, then server hop and repeat
btw modus production terminal sometimes sells E plasma with the reflex sight
the Calibrated beta wave tuner mod is also sold by the watoga vendors for its 50% critical dmg (For VATS users), still debatable vs the prime capacitor
In the transmission station, if you know how to photo Mode glitch, you glitch through the doors on the right after getting off the elevator. Basically takes you right to the end boss.
Why play a game but then skip the game? I don't really understand that mentality.

@@KetoFitChef I like to farm that 3 star Sentry bot too. I saw a way to repeatedly get to it and no server hopping. In the main lobby from the elevator on the left side is a white door with hand scanner. It takes you downstairs to where the Sentry bot is. It has about a 5 minute reset on it. It was NakedVaultDweller who put out the video about a secret at Transmission Tower 1AT-U03

That underground Enclave station is also a great place for general crafting/junk loot. Found 5 military circuit boards & at least 7 microscopes for example.
I got my 2nd complete Flamer Rifle with Reflex Scope from Dropped Connection. For me this is the way to go. Never got the mod from the vendors in 2 months. And was there daily 10 times minimum.

Firstly, great video! LOTS of useful info. I had been searching for one of these flamer barrel mods for sometime and I finally found one at Watoga! Then, I find a player who is selling one for 12,000c... of course I bought it. What I am trying to say is, pay attention to player vendors... they may have the mod or weapon already modded for sale.

did an enclave event literally 5 mins after watching this video and got the flamer barrel gun. first legendary mod put on gave me quad capacity, 25% damage while aiming, -25 AP cost. so yeah enclave event works nicely
After server-hopping for 1-3 hours per day for a month and not finding any Enclave Plasma Flamers or Mods I finally got one from Dropped Connection in Watoga like a week and a half ago. I then promptly got two more and the boxed mod since, and just a few days ago found some poor soul selling one in their CAMP vendor for less than 1000caps... with Bloodied on it already.
Now to save up the 1000 modules I'll probably need for that god roll anti-armor legendary on my fav one :D
Also, always look out for reflex versions with aligned auto. Often times good rolls on those are more valuable than the Flamer versions.
It has never made sense that flamer isn't considered an automatic.
It fires automatically as long as the trigger is depressed.

I specialise in Enclave gear in my shop. I have every variant of weapon and mods for sale.
The best way to get the weapon is to do lobby hopping and check both watoga vendors for mods, and MODUS for a reflex rifle (then attach the mod). The attach a tuner for added burning and OFF YOU GO

Thats the way i did it. Got a reflex from modus and a flamer mod from watoga, than rolled bloodied ffr. After that i got a flamer enclave plasma from dropped connection, but no reflex on it. I dont think is usable without the reflex, what do you think.

@@stefancristiansteflic2720 if you want to reach full potential using VATS and crits then reflex is essential, it’s SOOO AP hungry. But flamers are so easy to use I would still recommend using one in free aim without a reflex for new players 👍
I both use and sell these in my shop in game.
I currently have 8 of them, all with reflex sight, refined beta wave tuner and aligned flamer mod.
I also have 2 Enclave pistols aswell, again, both with reflex sight, refined beta wave tuner and aligned flamer mod.
I always carry 2 on me, an AA FFR DUR and a V FFR DUR. Would not be without em'.

server hopping and checking both shops at watoga have given me the best returns for the flamer mod. never had the flamer equipped rifle drop on dropped connection.
Idk if you can or cant get the rifle to drop with a reflex sight by raiding that event or station but you absolutely can find enclave automatic rifles with reflex sights from the whitesprings bunker. If you don’t find one on your first go, then just keep hopping servers until you do. And you can buy every gun you come across too, there will still be more there the next time around. I’ve found FOUR of the aligned flamer barrel mods in the past two days btw! All from farming the watoga vendors.
I find my first a couple of weeks ago from watoga dropped connection. Dropped with aligned flamed and reflex. First legendary attempt was Furious/25/15. I’ve not put it down since and I was fully specced into heavy guns.
I agree with your opinion on the best way to get the weapon. It’s been my experience that Dropped Connection is the best option.
I got my enclave flamer barrel as a box mod, which I found in the Cranberry Bog Bootleggers shack, upstairs behind the tool box on the table to the left as you come up the stairs.

I’ve gotten a bunch from Dropped Connection, one even had the desired reflex/stock but also the seldom seen True Flamer Barrel already attached to it which if I’m not mistaken is better for hip firing.
I'm not surprised to see people still making the same videos about this same gun with the same mods.
Got the flamer box mod from the Squatters daily quest. Killed 8 enemies to complete the quest
When you make these videos it would be greatly appreciated if you show the weapon with and without bloodied perks as bloodied builds make it hard to really see the difference in damage between other bloodied weapon builds due to all the various low health buffs. It also helps players that don't play bloodied to make more informed decisions for how they are wanting to play.
I’ve searched all the shops and train stations on and off for years now and only ever get night vision scopes. I’ve had ONE flamer rifle drop from “dropped connection” in all these years and rolled AA faster fire on it. It’s been a beast of a gun as a commando. BUT I’ve also rolled and modded regular plasma rifles flamers and automatic variants to great success against enemies and high damage output. Do yourself a favor and use a regular legendary plasma rifle until you finally get the enclave. It’s not really worth the frustration.
Faster fire rate is essential to me for these. I've been using and making them since we could make them legendary. Before that it was the normal ones.
Love the green flame on it and it has great damage but seems range is lacking but it kinda makes sense it's a flame thrower ecencially lol
I picked up the flame mod and another Enclave mod at Watoga Station many moons ago. I haven't seen one since.
You can photomode glitch through the first door on the right at the beginning of the room. It takes about 10 seconds to walk down and through the double door straight into the power armor guy. Also, it should be noted. I have done this hundreds upon hundreds of times. No flamer once. Do dropped connection. It's the easiest way to get it.
I cannot for the life of me photomode through the door. Don't know why as I can seeitsjust a regular door but neither me or my girlfriend have managed it. Knowing it can be done means I know what I'm trying later lol
1:02 there are rumors that if you put the flamer barrel on an already automatic plasma rifle it uses commando perks but i cannot test this as im not that lucky

I got the Enclave plasma with flamer barrel and reflex sight from the watoga dropped connection so there is a chance for both to drop.
That's some damn good Luck. I'm only getting the ones without the reflex sight whenever I'm lucky enough to get a weapon from their events.
Have two flamers I got from trading one I paid 30k caps and a longshoreman outfit the other I bought the aligned flamer for 30k and had a enclave rifle with the desired attachments. Recently got an aligned auto with all attachments at the whitespring bunker too just have to get a good roll now. I want to say the aligned sniper is awesome too 2-3 most enemies

I never could get one. I just use the regular plasma rifle with the flamer mod. Its nearly as powerful and is still top tier if you can afford the ammo.

I got my first flamer from the main quest with them, very lucky. Id have to look again to see what all came with it though.
I got a quad, 25 fast firing, 50 less breakage. Turned it into flamer, killing EVERYTHING in sight. 3x commando cards, plus 3x science cards. I'm not scared of anything anymore.... only camp traps hehe 🤣
I’ve farmed multiple of these mods. The watoga station, the super duper mart in watoga then server hop.
Or run all enclave events in the cranberry bog or mire region
Edit, you can get one with the reflex sight by server hopping and checking the armoury terminal at modus enclave bunker
I'm still a noob at Fallout 76, and I haven't completed the BOS storyline yet, I just recently finished the main storyline, and I am working on trying to complete the tadpole quest to get the larger backpack for carry weight, and @MrWestTek I figured out why I wasn't able to level up recently, when I had 5-7 level ups I was tapping on the right analog stick and not the left analog stick (the one that allowed me to level up and figured it out and have been using the left analog stick now)
I recently bought the Enclave plasma rifle at Whitesprings bunker, so, I have that but now need the flamer mod.
I already HAVE a regular plasma rifle that I added the flamer to and a stabilizer. It seems to work very well for me. I’m sure it’s not as good , but kicks azz anyway.
You can also get the mods them from Vendor Both Phoenix in Berkeley Springs Train Station
you can only get the reflex sight at Enclave Bunker or from the Dropped Connections Event.
My flamer dropped from dropped connection with the reflex site.
My Game Bro has dropped a Enclave Plasma Riffle with Flame Mod at Enclave Dropped Connection in Wytoga. He is a lucky guy but the Chance is very very very Low. Before i got a Flamer Mod, i do Server Hopping extrem. 20-30 Server Hopps per Day. After 4-6 Weeks i got one at the Vendor in Shopping Plaza. It's really nice to have this Gun but i think it's not the Best in all Situations.

I have a ton bunch of beautiful enclave flamers w reflex, I prime em and roll them for things like vampires or bloody. Right now I've got some really amazing ones, (a FFR Bloody 15crit, so bloody). I'm on XBOX. Idk something about the chase of getting them makes me always grind atleast one perfect enclave aligned flamer w reflex per week.
This is incredible. People going nuts for a few extra damage points. I use TWO "regular" plasma flamers at the same time, because energy weapons break too fast. One is Anti-armor the other is Vampire. Or, in other characters, both Vampire. So far, no complaints! AND on top of that, plans for all mods were a quick & easy task. So, why bother so much?...
Oh, and for a Rifleman build, you can use Power Armor or go normal armor, in which case you also benefit from Unyielding, of course. I play to kill and loot, not to search for rare stuff - fine for me if it works well!!!
Recoil compensated Enclave Plasma rifle is the only thing that drops off this guy. Went through 30 times today and only that gun drops

The shopping plaza and the watoga station share an inventory and it stays the same after switching servers
I just found a box flamer mod at the watoga last night, it’s my 2nd find I find doing it in the middle of the night is the best
In the Bunker, it is also random to find the rifle itself... there is a higher probability to get the gun instead. I think that I got the automatic rifle 2 out of 10 times or even 1 out of 10 times that I checked the "Production" vendor. The other difficult one to get and can only be obtained as a mission reward is the sniper barrel version. At this moment, I use the three variant of them. Anti-Armor flamer, Two shot sniper and an Anti-Armor Automatic Rifle. They kill it all. Regarding the Refle Sight... it is true that it reduces VATS cost in your weapons. In all the time playing I got like 100 rifles, by farming Enclave events and the bunker showcased... and out fo them, none had the reflex sight but different vriants of the scoped sights. And in the bunker you get a lot of guns... which cannot be converted into rifles because of the lack of mods.

I can confirm that the sniper barrel drops as a loose mod from vendors but seems to be just about as rare as it gets.

Is a “plasma thrower” as good? I have the enclave flamer (but I haven’t been using either). I randomly looted the thrower from a dead enemy (I think it was an animal). But good to know it’s the riflemen cards to use if I do decide to start using them.
Plasma Caster? They're not automatic and only single shot. And it all depends on the roles on the weapon.

The plasma throwers is just a plasma gun that you can find in game with the flamer attachment found on it and a few legendary perks.

I literally just got mine luckily bloodied yesterday and it definitely definitely packs a punch a insane amount of damage mostly anything gets taken out within 2-3 seconds lol thing shreds but definitely eats bullets like nothing
if you do the door glitch you dont even need the brotherhood of steel quests

Go to whitesprings service entrance in the door straight ahead and the terminal is there its faster then jump worlds till u find what Yr looking for he always sells 2 weapons and can buy with reflex sight
And dropped connection is the other method
I go to Watoga every single time I enter a new server, check Whitesprings regularly, and do just about all Enclave events, been doing it for weeks, and still no luck…

I found a enclave plasma plan when i was still a low level good thing i used it
I pick on up last week and got a blooded faster fire rate on my third role. Jesus this thing downs enemies, half the time I don’t even have any rifleman damage cards but this thing just rips through mobs like cheese and my regular plasma rifle flamer has vampires on it and you will not die when using it

3:19 so does that method on the sheet actually rotates the shop to eventually get the mods after enough rotations or is it just another way to reroll the shop (random inventory nothing is guaranteed)?
Go to the Welch area in the bottom left. That vendor bot got the barrel every time

I got the flamer barrel modded rifle from an Enclave event but to me it seems to do very little damage compared to my other weapons so I don't use it. But I might change that to a build I will do later.
😮so is red dot better or reflex sight because im told getting it with reflex sight is an amazing drop

believe it or not, ive bought 2 enclave scope box mods from the vendor at top of the world, but have never seen any mention them being a possible drop from that vendor.

Unfortunately I don’t have proof due to how far apart they were, but I was able to get 5 flamer mods in like 6-7 hours but that was over a week ago. Haven’t found another since. With around the same amount of farming hours.
Can you clarify for me that this rifle uses rifleman perks even if its an automatic or were you only referring to the flamer mod?
I have two of these and I'm undecided on which is better. One I have +50 armor pen and the other I have +25 based on my mutations which is +25. I always hear you want armor pen but why do I feel my +25 mutation one is killing enemies slightly faster?
I just got one from random enclave events its regular automatic rifle with red dot(circle) sight
I have the automatic variant and I am very hesitant so far to put the flamer on it cuz I don't want to waste it before I figure this build out but mine is showing it will do more damage with the Commando build when I highlight the flamer than it does with The Rifleman build
So I did the enclave quest at the beginning of the game when you answer the questions correctly and got one with the flamer mod. What im confused about is if their is any difference between "Aligned flamer" and normal "flamer" on the enclave weapon since the one from the quest dropped with just "flamer."

Rolled a vffr15fr one recently and also found the aligned flamer mod. also have another with the true flamer barrel on it, might just roll that one and trade them off though. just find that im not a fan of the ammo and repair upkeep on them even with the right perks. really good weapons though.
Ammo and degradation are definitely a killer, good point. But it's still uber powerful regardless.
last night this guy gave me a two shot prime ultracite enclave plasma rifle, with 50k ultracite ammo
Does it heal other players with the perk card for that? or does this flamer register as plasma?
