I think the tacoma interior is sub-par to the gmc Canyon/Colorado
I disagree the interior plastic in those models feels lighter and significantly cheaper. The hand pump on the drivers seat for height adjustment felt like it would break given enough force.

Thanks for the tour of your new truck. I like the roll bar in the back. I missed that video.
The rear headrests fold down so you can lower the seat back without having to remove the head rests. On the the 3rd gen you have to remove the headrests to recline the seat back.
Please what's the driving experience like with the Paddle Commander on the New Tacoma? Is the gear swift improved?
You get less equipment for for money now power seats, little slider back window, bed cubby and external ac power inverter. Also less room under the back seats and behind the back seat. The old gen 3 had all that stuff and cost about 3,350 less.

The interior door panels on the 3rd gen. scratched easily and looked beat up if you didn't use a quality vinyl and leather top coat often. My 4th gen has none of those issues. Take a damp towel to the door panel and your good. No Tufskinz in there yet Rob ?

Gen 4 steering wheel telescopes more than the gen 3 and drivers seat much more comfortable.

Rob…I think you should buy other Toyota. More and more I’m losing appetite about new Tacoma… How about Crown Signia? or New Camry?
That’s like a football player switching to tennis! A hard no.
I like the look of the truck. But no rear legroom. Dislike the two tone seats. The strap on back bottom seats. Why? Like the bed bar. Have to buy options which used to be standard. Toyota, stop nickel and diming people....

I think the 3rd gens looked a lot better but that's my opinion. I currently own a diesel Willys Jeep Gladiator all modded.

I drove from Cali to Oregon and it gave me 27 miles per gallon. Smooth ride on 10hrs drive. So, yes, it passed the test drive. Hahaha 😆
