Season 10 start with the open-house party and Emily walking in with a giant fake smile and being like, "I'm fine, I'm fine, I'm TOTALLY FINE". 😂😂😂
@@emilygumal4658 I would’ve loved if they didn’t tell Emily, then Emily found out after they hid it, then a whole confrontation, then offering 33% but denying saying that this was supposed to be their dream together, and this causes like the group to fall apart, maybe she convinces the group to switch to her team and kinda rehash the season (5?) where they had competing teams. Also side note… does this mean that Thalia will be in next season for regionals? She’s gotta be mad Eldon went back with Michelle after not even like a month 😭
@@ryanmacgorman2279 Well, they haven't confirmed that Emily has or hasn't given her blessing. Eldon says, "With Emily's blessing", which could mean that they already have her blessing, or it could mean that they have yet to get her blessing, but want to. I don't know if Alex Beaton will be returning to TNS or if she wants to, but she has been vocal on Vic's Instagram and TikTok, so I suppose she might be willing to return if the show wants her back. I doubt Thalia will be back; obviously she won't be happy that Michelle and Eldon are back together, but she's more of a minor character than Emily, Eldon or Michelle, so I don't think she'll be back. But it has been several months since Eldon and Thalia broke up; Eldon tells Michelle that he and Thalia broke up prior to Nationals in S8 and each Absolute Dance season takes 4 months. So like Regionals takes 4 months, Nationals takes 4, Internationals takes 4. So if Eldon and Thalia broke up before Nationals in S8, it's been about 4 months since their break-up. But yeahhhhh considering they dated since S3 to S8, that's still a pretty quick get back together with your ex moment. 😬 Can't imagine that Michelle and Eldon wouldn't have burnt bridges with Thalia at this point, but given that they made James and Alfie on good terms in the xmas special, anything is possible. 😂

@@emilygumal4658 I love me some Alexandra Beaton, I meant more so for regionals 1-3 episodes. I guess perhaps they could explain Thalia ended up moving the studio somewhere else perhaps in a different region to explain the absence, and they placed second and don’t make it to internationals if tns does.
Though with Emily I feel like her story can keep going, it’s struggling since plot wise we know every trason she would be furious. Perhaps we could find out that since emily got her job from michelle, perhaps Emily got a new job with the same company but Michelle wasn’t invited back, giving her the reason she didn’t come back, or next season it’ll be the team struggling and Emily and Michelle / Eldon fighting for the studio, and nick in the middle trying to please his friend Emily, and the other two. I’d like to see her come back for atleast another episode where they all meetup and Michelle is worried Emily may hate her even with the blessing (feeling of guilt) and Emily goes something like. “Michelle, we have given each other so many chances throughout being here, truth is I was partially afraid I’d lose my identity and love for this place if I left forever, this will always be my home, and keeping it with people I know I can trust helps, just promise me if you’re gonna sell it or need my help, please call me .” A hug and they leave. Maybe at the end she can be a little snarky/happy and be like “you’re so back together with Eldon, aren’t you?” Perhaps Michelle would offer her 33% at first too.
The irony of Michelle doing a whole speech about moving on to the new a-troupe, yet TNS are attempting to retain viewers by using the "OGs"
I can't blame them for trying to use the OGs to get more people to watch, the fandom is really shitty about the new gens and are crazy beyond levels for the OGs, a ton of them only watch when there's content from them and having more watchers will allow them to get a better budget, and being a low one what fucked up this internationals they're obviously needing to do something.
Crazy fans make me laugh tho, they excuse themselves on the new troupe not being as good as the first one but also beg for OGs to have as much screentime as possible and ove to have them as main characters in the seasons, like giving all that work and screentime to all characters isn't what steals screentime and work from the new characters. TNS's writers are in a constant cycle like that, they can't dedicate all their time and work to make the new characters as good as they can bc if they just work on them then they barely have watchers bc the fandom already just hates that they're not the OGs, and without ppl watching there's low budget making things worse till they'll have no more show already, so they are forced to bring OGs back and dedicate to them time and storylines that steals time from the new charaters, making them worst written, making people hate on them more and keep claimimg the first gen was better and only watch for the few they still have but will never be enough bc that's not what the show is about and what it won't even be even by being forced bc they coulnd't bring the entire first cast not even if they wanted to.
@@jrlombardi5251 I remember in s4 people were livid that there were “No OGs” as if Riley, Amanda, Michelle, Noah, west, eldon, James and Emily weren’t all major characters and a bunch others didn’t have cameos 💀

And I have even heard people say stuff like that they dances/dancers were way better in the first gen like season 6 isn't the second season with the most popular videos or people saying that the new gens just care about drama and dance which make them miss the first gen, when the first gen was SO dramatic (so much that when Riley says "what we do best" James unironically thinks "how is making drama going to help us?" and Michelle even gave up on nationals and dance just bc of the drama on the studio) and I would even say that the most dramatic seasons of the new gen are season 4 and 5, and I'm sorry but that's literally bc of the OGs bc what made season 4 way more dramatic and messy than the others was Riley being a shitty studio head and her cheating with one of her students, and in season 5 the drama was Emily and Michelle fighting with TNS East and West.
@@ahaha272 oh and this is super long but, the other day I also saw someone saying they miss when every A-Trouper felt necessary and with a storyline on A-Troupe in the first seasons, but I have been re-watching the first seasons this week and this is absolutely not true. In season 1 Tiffany is pretty present with the E-Girls plot or helping Stephanie but she's literally the only one that never had her own storyline, as much she had one single episode trying to bother Daniel and that was it, and in season 2 when she finally got her own thing (taking completely different to Stephanie how they were moved to B-Troupe, she just randomly stops appearing and that never gets solved, she doesn't decide to leave, she doesn't make peace with it, she's just there as far as we know, then she disappeared for an entire season and then we saw her 5 seconds in season 4 with a completely new job outside of tns, all while we kept seeing Steph, the character that had no dilemas hanging last time we saw her), oh and Chris on season 1 kinda literally never did his job lol. In season 2 it is way worse bc if you weren't part of the love drama (Jiley and Michelle/Eldon/Hunter/Emily thing) then you didn't have any storyline. Thalia had nothing, besides of maybe being part of Giselle's plan for the duet for one episode, Giselle had nothing, West had a random romance with Emily in the last eps, Phoebe randomly dissapears from a ton of episodes and never does her job, Amanda didn't start to do stuff till half the season, Hunter randomly forgets everything is his character after Emily breaks up with him and he's just in the boys scenes, Chloe has two eps doing something and then nothing story related in the other 32, Daniel had two eps deciding to leave and then we don't see him for 1/3 the season till he has one single episode at nationals. Then season 3 never gave Max any kind of personality, storyline or even highlight in dance when he was literally elite's nationals soloist that won multiple times, but in TNS he's just really ignored and at nationals all the boys got a solo/main lead except for him and being in just a 5 ppl small group aside from the group routines, so random.
To be fair the new gen kept doing this, in season 4 Cassie and Richelle didn't have storylines of their own, just tiny plots in random episodes but they were way less present than everyone else (although it's possible that Briar wasn't as present in season 4 bc of her epilepsy starting that year, so idk if I can blame the writers there). In season 5 Zara had very little, noticeable in comparation to the rest, Kenzie was barely there on season 6 and 7. But tbh, if I had to point at seasons and even a gen that didn't do that, that's the third gen, and even counting the finale of the second with season 8.0, seasons 8 and 9 were the only ones to me that gave something to everyone and (more or less) balanced, at some point. So hearing someone point at the present seasons saying they miss the first one for this specific reason, that's like the wildest thing to me.
@@jrlombardi5251 I do think it's normal though; on every show that is long-running that switches casts, a lot of the fans love the OGs because it's the cast that they originally fell in love with and have had more time with. I'm not saying what anyone is doing is right or wrong, I'm just saying it is how it is and probably always will be on every long-running show. Grey's Anatomy is like that; Meredith shows up every season like Michelle, Japril show up occasionally like Jiley and sometimes it's just Jackson like when James showed up in S8 without Riley, characters like Teddy are mains, are off, then return as mains sorta like Eldon. And there are the interns who just disappear into a void like Leah Murphy, which is like Tiffany. Fans will still clamour for the OGs because it's what they fell in love with first. Most long-running shows are like that. It is what it is. 🤷
Kenzie is the only non-OG who’s gone through Regionals, Nationals and Internationals. And she literally went to Dancemania.

I really don’t like the cliffhanger, the whole reason Michelle left in season 7 was because she didn’t want to buy the studio. She didn’t want to be stuck in the next step forever because she felt like she’d grow to resent it, so it makes no sense for her to want to buy it now. If I were Emily I would never have given them my permission. I really wish they didn’t break up Thalia and Eldon for this, they were much better together than Micheldon. Atp I think Kenzie should be studio head with Nick because she’ll be like 20 if we get season 10 and I can’t imagine Anthony having more control than her. The final dance was good but Olive just ran around the team in circles, I wish they gave her something better to do. Sadly I think Heath will leave in season 10 to go somewhere with Pascale, but I don’t think Ethan is leaving because he’s only going to Paris for the summer. I’m gonna miss your reactions, overall I think season 9 was good but the second half was much worse than the first

I don't remember Michelle ever saying she didn't want to stay in the studio forever, she just didn't want it to be everything she ever had bc she could never be able to leave, bc she just went from one thing to the next inside the studio. She said she wanted to know what else was out there in the world and do something for herself bc she always had to put the rest first as she was always needed at TNS. She didn't want to buy it in season 6 bc that would have made her be stuck, bc then she wouldn't be able to leave to see other opportunities, so she didn't buy it, so she went and saw the world, took other chances, lived her dance life outside of the studio, had a tour and after some years of it (let's not forget she leaves at the start of season 7, that whole season she's out, before of season 8 there's a time skip of one year, then season 8 and then season 9, it was a lot of time) she goes back to the studio and sees she misses it and that it is still her place, even with now having sm other experience. Tbh it feels normal, even organic and correct to me, it's not really weird or contradictory.

It didn’t make sense to have only one twist in this internationals competition.they did so many twist throughout the whole season just to have one simple twist at internationals,very overwhelming,even nationals had more twist and rounds

Yes I always imagined and hoped that they stayed together for at least a while off-screen.
Like I shipped Micheldon at the time but it’s been like how many years… I’ve moved on and I thought they had too and I actually liked that, two characters that had an “epic” romance are still friends in fact they probably consider each other to be one of their best friends. Even Michelle jokes in season 3 and 4 about the relationship as a she was young and immature so I never thought they were getting back together. I am interested to see what they will do with it but on the other hand I hope they just stay friends

I feel so bad for Emily bc at the end of S6 she said she wanted to buy the studio with Michelle but Michelle said she wasn't ready.Emily agreed to do the tour with Michelle, and now Michelle is saying "I wanna buy the studio". If I was Emily I would be really annoyed, and like what will Emily do now? I also HATE the idea of Michelle dating Eldon again. Michelle will always be one of my favs but I'm a bit disappointed. this was literally a bigger let down than the season 7 finale for me, at least we got the alice in wonderland dance from that episode but this INTERNATIONALS FINALS dance was just olive (extremely talented and her talent was not used) running around while everyone else did mediocre choreography that didn't even match the song.. not to mention their boring tux costumes which made no sense, and the cliffhanger i'm not even gonna start💀 but honestly i think they could've just released season 9A bc that was fine and done well, then filmed 9B this year when they got a better budget and more time

It bothers me that Jet did not speak at all during the internationals episodes. Also. I wanted to see Remy AFTER leaking the next step’s duet ❤️ A very good season all in all 👏🏻
overall, i did like the season but for me, i think the main thing i wanted more of is connecting with the characters we already know and love. for example, people are talking about ethan leaving but i feel like we're just starting to get to know him!! heath was given the title "heart of the team" but hardly talked to anyone on said team after pascale arrived, much less participated in the big final speech. likewise, izzy was called the "glue of a-troupe" but didn't get to talk at internationals long enough to live up to that! obviously, they're just names but it would be nice to see them have relevance, especially considering how long they've been at the studio (the glue and the heart could've been a great dynamic to explore in itself). pete's storyline in 9a was beautifully done, but again i wish he had more relevance at internationals (maybe a hip-hop routine would've been the way to do it, or even him being upset he was cut from the small group.)
The robotic feel of L’Equipe Etoile’s final dance gave me LOD vibes, It would have been good if TNS had Team Frances costumes but kept the red long dress 😅, for me TNS’s costumes were a real let down, and we didn’t get the reasoning for the ‘tuxedos’ or ‘suits’ that they wore, so it would be nice to know the thought process behind buying them

Is it weird that it just doesn’t feel like the season is over 😭😭… I honestly still think there’s more maybe because it’s much shorter than the usual length of 30 eps. If we do get a season 10, I really don’t think we should go back to Regionals or anything, cause we’ve already had 3 seasons focusing on that. I would love Season 10 to be like a time skip journey through Michelle and Eldon’s time as studio owners. It could like jump between months, and we see each different dancers leave and OGs come back. Something like that, cause I think Season 10 could be a nice final season if we get it - #TNS10When

I agree! Or they are prepping for a recital rather than a comp!! And they do a big mix of dances from all seasons, bringing back a ton of cast! Maybe to celebrate the studios '100th birthday' or something?

As for the final TNS dance, I actually really liked it. Now is it on the same level as the S6 Piano dance, Season 7 Dancemania and Season 8’s Nationals prom dance? Probably not. But there was something very enchanting and blissful about it. Olive being the lead in the dance is great because it made up for her losing out on being the soloist. Plus I loved how they used the dress not only as an aesthetic but also a nice representation of the emotions felt in terms of lifting each other up. Could they have delved into the story of the dance more? Yes definitely but it still worked well for me and I think it was better than Team France’s dance. TNS definitely deserved the win. The lifts with Heath and Olive were great. I liked how expressive he was and seeing him all celebratory with Pascale was cute. Same with Kenzie and Pascale.
But it’s such a shame that the long awaited Internationals competition was so short and underwhelming. Obviously they worked well with what they could with the limited budget but it’s unfortunately not on the same level as Season 3 of Internationals or even Season 8 of Nationals which is a shame because this season was mostly great. I loved that they gave most of the cast spotlight to shine in Season 9. They just sadly didn’t have enough episodes to properly round things up but I still enjoyed the final dance and Anthony and Adele’s duet. Shame about the trio performance. It would have nice to see Izzy, Jett and Pete shine more for this competition.
Now let’s talk about that cliffhanger! I’m very conflicted too!😂 On one hand, Michelle and Eldon rekindling their romance after she helped Eldon heal in Episode 17 makes sense. They’re also adults now so their romantic relationship can be completely different to how it was when they were kids and they have history with TNS so it’s almost come full circle in a way which I can definitely understand.
However, this does feel like a slap in the face to Emily as she wanted to buy TNS with Michelle in Season 6. But thankfully they did get her blessing so they haven’t ignored that which is good. Although I don’t know where this leaves Emily though? Is she just gonna continue to manage Michelle’s tour without her now? This also feels like a slap in the face to Theldon, Michemily and Johndelle shippers😭 I didn’t hate Michelle and Eldon as a couple but I really liked Eldon and Thalia together. But it’s also been a few months so maybe Eldon is in a better place to start dating Michelle again so I’m open to seeing how they work as adults. I don’t know how much time has passed between Season 7-9 but it seems like Michelle has changed her mind since then.
Now as for who should own the studio? I actually kinda like the idea of Michelle and Eldon buying the studio but I don’t want Nick to leave either😭I know we’ve complained about him not being in enough episodes but I still want him to stick around. Maybe they can find another role for him but I just don’t know what it would be since he’s not an expert in dance. But hopefully they do find a way for Nick to stick around if he lets Michelle and Eldon buy it from him.
There’s so many routes that they could go with this for a Season 10. There could be a potential fight for ownership of the studio or even a time jump. This also gives opportunity for Michelle and Eldon to be there full time which I would be on board for especially since they’re the only characters who have appeared in every season.
I also want Kenzie and Ethan to stay. Their futures are still up in the air. Ethan could easily do the Paris programme in the summer and come back for Season 10. And Kenzie still wants to compete in competitions so she could still stick around and explore more options depending on whether she accepts Freya’s tour or not. I’d like them both to stay in some capacity even if they won’t be main leads anymore. I also want Richelle to properly come back again because I thought she’d appear in all 3 episodes but she was only in one which wasn’t satisfying. I want updates on her, Ozzy and Step Inside. I still wanna know more about Winnie, B-Troupe and J-Troupe too.
We need a Season 10! Really hope it gets renewed and I hope we get the 9B soundtrack release soon. Looking forward to your future videos on season rewrites and soundtrack opinions. Thank you so much for the reactions #TNS10WHEN
My biggest problem with the internationals episodes were that we barley saw Izzy, Pete and I didn’t even see Jett speak at all
especially considering eldon gave Izzy a trio with Niall and Olive.... then we never saw it again....

This internationals was so underwhelming if we look back R the amount of dances in s3 internationals from each team m/f solo, small group, 3-7 person dance, semi final and finals then in this season all we got was solo, duet small group and finals… I wish we saw more dances of other studios so it seems like they were more in the running and maybe Tns don’t make it to the finals but team china for instance get disqualified so Tns move up to top 2 something like that so it doesn’t feel so Canada/ France coded
The French final routine was so good loved the start when they did the hand movement the song choice really went well with their actions and dancing. Canadas dance was good too the only downside is the costumes didn’t match the red dress, olives movement was very limited there was a part in the dance where she just ran around a troupe and ran back 😭also I’m just remembering this for Adele’s duet I wish they changed the colour of he prosthetic arm because she has different colours anyways back to the final routine the best part about it for me is when they did the one handed cartwheel to the floor and I wish they showed more characters throughout because I rarely saw jet Anthony and Pete
I wish we got more of a reaction out of miss Kate she won the first internationals eith Tns and now they’ve won again her reaction was proud but I would’ve liked it more like giselles in season 8
And the last thing is the lift they did with olive, olive was positioned in front of the camera I wish we saw that cameras pov rather than the side csmeras angle because I have a feeling the lift won’t look good on the front camera

A lot of people have said it, but it DRIVES ME NUTS that Michelle is coming back to buy the studio after refusing to do so with Emily in S6 and S7. Like WHAT??? Eldon has always been comic relief on the show, him and Michelle in charge is going to be as bad as Riley in S4. Eldon in charge this past season was arguably worse than Riley cuz he tried to make TNS requalify for Internationals, oh gosh, at least Riley had the excuse of being so young, never having been dance captain etc. Eldon is in his 20s now and has been a head choreographer/partial owner of a studio for YEARS. Michelle and Eldon in romantic drama is going to be SOOOO S4 Jiley except hopefully without cheating, but worse in some ways because they're going to be business partners...And also Michelle and Eldon being a thing again??? I liked it when Michelle and Emily's biggest thing was each other and Eldon got neither of them. Throwing out so many seasons worth of development of Thalia and Eldon for THIS??? It's one thing if Michelle and Eldon had been working together all season and then got romantic feelings for each other again. This was TWO EPISODES and like 15 minutes of screentime together. Michelle being Emily's secret admirer in Season 7 made more sense than this. Michelle and Emily and Riley and Thalia and even Eldon himself spent SEASONS joking about how Michelle was over Eldon, S3 when Michelle and Thalia and Eldon had that conversation about how Michelle and Eldon were just friends now, S4 when Riley and Michelle joked about how Michelle had been an idiot when she'd dated Eldon, S6 when Emily and Michelle walked away from Eldon at prom and when they made jokes about what they had been thinking when they'd dated him, S6 when Eldon had said jokingly that it had been their worst choice to ever break-up with him...Michelle is officially going backwards now and my brain hurts. 😂

@@steffanasante9331 Yeah I know but normally I can’t figure it out. I know rubber band sounded like under pressure and the elite small group for nationals was meant to be royals. Another song this season sounded like dance the night.
Why does it feel like this show was shot during lockdown? No real crowd, tiny venues and just a small scale, the budget is like 5 grand

- I honestly really loved Grace and related so much to her in the last episode. When Presley told Grace her anger was misplaced and she needed to let it go, it hit me hard 😭 I liked how Grace felt like she was showing her loyalty to her friend by being angry on her behalf and it added depth to Graces character imo because she felt like NOBODY was angry for Presley except for her. As much as I hated grace for cutting daisy (i know mélody went to college but still), Grace in this episode was relateable and humanised. Although I wish we got a bit more of a set up where we got scenes of Grace with Maya and Presley when they got cut etc. to give Graces actions more credence.

Also, I wanted to see reactions of the team members who helped TNS get to Internationals like we did in Season 3. In Season 3, we saw James and Riley on the stage, A-Troupe in the wings, B-Troupe in Studio A, Hunter at school in Madison, Chloe at La Ballet de la Reine, Emily at home, Daniel in the audience. I wanted to see cameos from all the team members that helped TNS get to Internationals, like Daisy, Xander, who were still in S9, Cleo and Jude and Lily, even the team that helped them get to Regionals...they had Brittany, Briar, Myles, Alex, Noah for S9 promo. How hard would it have been to shove Isaac and Emmerly out the door and get them to film five seconds in character celebrating TNS' win and say they're all in NYC? Riley, Piper and Richelle are already in NYC, they could just say that Noah was visiting Richelle and Kingston was visiting Lily or Ozzy!

This level of dancing doesn’t compare to s3 international they looked like a proper team we saw so much s9 felt rushed, they dint have the budget
Internationals was so underwhelming, none of the dances really wowed me and the competition was so short compared to S3 internationals, now it's clear they don't have that S3 money now, but c'mon the dances could've been better. Matter of fact none of the dances or songs really wowed me this season at all
I liked the final dance but come on, I've said before this series feels like a worse series 3 and this just proves it. Literally the same ending. Also Grace's redemption comes out of absolutely nowhere in these last 3 episodes. Speaking of things coming out of nowhere Eldon and Michell's are supposably a couple by the end of this and want to buy the studio? What are the writers thinking? Also it means next series (IF there is one) we'll probably say goodbye to Nick, Noooooooo. But the series overall? It was fine, the second half let it down massively though. However what I did like is all the characters, we all got to know there personality's and I felt they were a team, it takes me back to series 1 or series 3 where there wasn't a member of the team I didn't like or felt was pointless. I hope they all come back for series 10 again if there is one but I have a feeling a few won't come back. Heath is one, although he's one of my favorites I imagine he's one of the more expensive cast members and with a dwindling budget, I can't see the production team wanting to keep him on. Arianna is also one of my favorites but I feel like she is too good of a dancer to stay on long term. Ethen's obviously going, however at least that was built up to. But they might get rid of all of this cast as they did in series 4 more or less. I hope they don't as like I say I really like all of them but we'll see, This is all to say that we get a series 10, we might not. Hopefully we do, #TNS10When anyway I've loved your reaction videos, You've made me get back into it after growing out of it a few years ago, so thanks for that.

I honestly have mixed feelings abt this episode. First of all I did rlly enjoy tns's finale dance because i love lifts and partner work but I feel like the storyline of the dance is a little weak. Like what is the reasoning behind the costumes and why they're lifting olive in particular? And speaking of costumes I rlly wasn't a fan of them too. The different tops underneath and different waistcoats rlly annoyed me. Plus I'm not a fan of the pants they wore as well. But I do love olives dress. However I feel like her being the focus of the dance was a little odd. She hasn't rlly had too much relevance this season so it feels kinda random. I do get that it makes up for her losing the solo but they definitely shouldve mentioned that to make it feel impactful. As you said, I think this dance wouldve fit as a semi finals routine. 1. I wouldve preffered it if one of the more senior dancers was the star of the final dance like kenzie or heath. So olive only being the focus of the semi finals dance wouldve made more sense to me. 2. This dance didn't rlly showcase anyone other than olive plus it wasn't most of the characters dominant style. I'm also realising that tns did no hip hop routines for internationals this season. Honestly that's kinda disappointing considering how many great hip hop dancers are on the team. 3. Those costumes were just not internationals finale dance material lol.
One thing that was disappointing abt internationals was that certain characters had like no lines or relevance during it. I think Pete, jett and izzy are the only ones but I still think they shouldve had more relevance or even just a couple more talking heads bc it feels like we barely saw them.
As for the end of the episode it's definitely making me intrigued what season 10 could be like. Before these last 3 episodes aired I thought abt season 10 and how I couldn't imagine them going to regionals again after we've seen them go to internationals twice now. So I honestly thought that a season that was kind of a celebration of all the characters we've seen over the years would be cool especially since it would be the tenth season. And after hearing what eldon and Michelle said I have a feeling that that might be close to what we get. There would definitely still need to be some kind of big performance at the end but they could do like a production, some other competition like season 7 or something else. If Michelle and eldon do end up buying the studio (which im guessing they will) I'm predicting that nick will leave. This honestly makes me rlly sad because I love him as a character and I feel like we only rlly saw him properly in season 7.
Finally I'm rlly not sure if I like where they're going with eldon and Michelle. I rlly liked thalia and eldon and deep down in my heart Michelle and John got together ❤. I honestly can only see them as friends now and it feels weird to think of them being romantic again lol

So many feelings with this finale! First off, I loved the Presley and Ariana duet at the start. They were in great sync. I also loved seeing Presley appeal to Grace’s better nature and tell her that it’s okay to stop with the revenge path because she who was one of Grace’s closest friends in the past has succeeded with their life post TNS.
Equally, I like how Grace was still determined to finish the job because she acknowledged that she’s hurt too many people already but I love that Presley’s words got through to her. The only thing that would make that scene even better is by having all the ex-B troupe members there. It would have been nice to have Pete, Izzy and Winnie confront Grace alongside Ariana and Presley. I also still wish Maya and Marcus were here for moments like this especially since Maya and Presley were implied to be Grace’s closest friends. Likewise with Ethan and Marcus and their friendship.
But Grace and Camille sabotaging Maria’s plan is a good way of starting their redemption path which I think will continue with Grace for S10 if renewed which is great but part of me really wanted Grace to go full out as villain and do the plan with Maria even if she had regrets. I knew it wouldn’t happen though because Maria mentioned the video having swear words and they’d never allow that to broadcast on TNS😂
But I still wanted to see it. Maybe you could create a potential what if for that scenario. RIP Grace’s villain era though. I absolutely loved her as the schemer for this season. Brianna played it brilliantly. Grace is definitely up there with Amanda for me as iconic schemer.
Niall giving up his spot for Ethan was sweet given how close they are. It was fun seeing Ebby and Izzy get revenge on Remi too with the snail prank. I’m also glad Kenzie got her main dancer status back and her giving the final speech to her team was well deserved. This is why I think Kenzie should have remained the dance captain even after coming back from France. It was nice that Anthony gave her that moment but I still think Kenzie should have stayed as dance captain till the end. But thank god she was no longer the alternate. I would have been so annoyed if she remained to be one of the alternates.

So, being honest I kind happy and excited for micheldon again. I hated how they break up, and how the series left them after such drama in season one. I feel like they never has the chance to experienced their relationship at all in a romantic way, since Michelle was focus on her parents divorce, Eldon and Thalia, then both living in different ways and places too. I think If the writtes do a good job with them, we will ending like micheldon again. ( I hope)
I just finished the season and I'm heartbroken. Loved Thalia and Eldon together, didn't expect that they would break up. Upset that they have made Eldon and Michelle date again, I prefer them as just friends, I feel like making them date now is more just to appeal to the fans that they lost over the years.
I DON'T WANT NICK TO GO. I also don't want to see Myles leave the cast so that hurts 😭.
Otherwise I did enjoy the season, especially Ariana's character. Just disappointed with the ending.
I'm personally not a fan of Michelle getting back with Eldon. I feel like Michelle has grown so much since S1 and is a strong, mature woman now, but Eldon is still the same. He's lagging behind in sensibleness and to the point where he's a liability. I don't see why Michelle would find that attractive. I don't even ship Michemily but I think they're a better match than Micheldon.

So the first half of s9 was pretty good because it felt more connected than s8b bc it was so random like who is everybody but the second half of s9 was kinda odd and thrown against the wall like it wasn’t up to the hype of internationals. I think that part of the reason why the recent season endings have been underwhelming is that when we were watching 7b, 8b, 9b, we believed that it would be the last season, so we had really high hopes, but when put in perspective they weren't that bad

Hmmm I wish they went through with the original plan of giving the wrong music and background. It would have been a lot more chaotic and we’d be left with a cliffhanger for season 10 or the season 9 could have ended with the implication of their being a continuation of The Next Step offscreen.
NOT a fan of them rekindling Michelle and Eldon. Breaking up a solidified couple to bring about a couple that has been over for years is crazy. I do understand some people break up and then come together later in life but this wasn’t the move imo. I feel like there was a double meaning when they input Eldon and Michelle buying the studio. She wasn’t giving just her blessing to them getting the studio, but her blessing for them to get back together now that Emily and Michelle are best friends.
I was wondering what the cliffhanger would be for this season and it seems that it’s kind of…regressing in a way? We’ve already seen old A-troupers leading the next step in season 5 with Emily, Daniel, Michelle, and West, so that idea isn’t very fresh. I don’t know…not feeling the way they’re heading into the new season. It. Just seems like the focus is going to shift onto the old A-troupers again.

I wouldve liked if their families came like you said and i rly wouldve liked jetts mum to be there and have like took the day off work because it would show how important internationals is to jett and to the team because its felt very underwhelming (and would give a jett a lil bit in the episode because she literally just wasnt there)
Season 9 was actually good unlike the previous 2 seasoblns (7 and 8) so WHY DOES MICHELLE AND ELDON END UP BUYING THE STUDIO?!?!?!?!?!?!?!
This ending was so underwhelming. Why does Michelle want to buy the studio when she literally left in season 7 because she DIDN'T want to be stuck there and buy the studio. Also, what happened to Jett, Pete, Izzy and Nialle at internationals? They didn't speak that much or at all. Overall, the season was pretty good mid-season downwards, but started to get bad because the whole Ariana sabotaging the team thing was just getting repetitive and uninteresting, and they spent ALOT of the season just on that plot. The season was just alot of drama and we didn't even get to see much dancing. This season was pretty good at the start but just went downhill and got more and more dissapointing as it went on...

Honestly Niall giving Ethan his spot actually does make sense, remember Niall's big thing this season has been his Pride, First Person to jump straight from J-Troupe to A-Troupe, and Ariana calling the "Going for the Gold" Routine "So J-Troupe" in order to get him to agree with her to do a different dance, so him stepping aside for someone else is a sign of development
The group dance was fun, but I also don't get the storyline😭
The Michelle and Eldon thing...there's just no way the writers off screen broke up Thalia and Eldon just to immediately put micheldon back together, I don't like that at all. I'd love to see them around more though, BUT I don't want Nick to leave at all especially when he's been given nothing to do this season.
They definitely left Kenzie's story open ended, I'm guessing to give Emmerly the option to either come back or not. I think it's Kenzie's time though, this would be the right time for her to leave. I'd miss her a lot though.

Wow the budget has really declined! The difference between the first couple of seasons to now! 😔 I liked how in the previous seasons there was way more focus on the dancing and rehearsals. And i agree they should have had way nicer costumes . Hope theres another season and they bring back the vibe from the first couple of seasons!

I'm glad The Next Step won Internationals, Maria's plan has been backfired. The routine was beautiful. I love Team France's costumes. I love Presley and Ariana's final dance together at the beginning of the episode. I'm glad Grace has a change of heart after all and as well as Camille. Glad that Eldon and Michelle are together but I do miss Eldon and Thalia being together. Now that Michelle and Eldon want to buy The Next Step Studios, what's next for Nick? I wish we got flashbacks of Xander and Daisy when The Next Step won Internationals like they did in Season 3. I'm looking forward to Season 10. Winnie deserves better. I also noticed that the mic piece when Olive was doing the final dance came out.

I feel like if that kind of role was emphasised, Nick would have more of a place at the studio. But yeah, it all feels a bit random.
