Dave told a story about him taking his kids to Disney when they were little, and he said people were almost constantly walking up to him and saying, "I'm Rick James, Ɓịţcĥ!" Dave said something to the effect of, "Stop calling me a Ɓịţcĥ in front of my kids." 😂😂
I didn’t know bill burr had anything to do with Dave. That’s amazing!! My mind is literally blown. I love them both even more now. I grew up watching Dave’s show and his movies. This is awesome lol
Not watching Dave is a huge tragedy. He is a comedy genius. I prefer his new stuff better because it is more thought provoking, intelligent humor over the slapstick stuff, but not everyone does. Either way...his stand up is a good time!
This Dave Chappelle was so much better. Hard hitting jokes based on observations about many subjects. Now he just mostly lectures his audience while him telling actual jokes in his stand up specials took a backseat. He's now at a level that people will like his stuff no matter what because he's Dave Chappelle that did The Chapelle show but forgot what truly made him stand out when he did Killin' Them Softly over 20 years ago or his appearance on Def Comedy Jam. It wasn't him being real edgy. It was the fact that he told jokes that you could understand no matter what race or sex you are and holding a real mirror to America. He passed up 50 million because he felt like the show would lose it's creativity. He came back over 10 years later and got 50 million to do a couple specials on Netflix.
And also the fact that he realize that Comedy Central was making literally billions of dollars off that show. I would be pretty pissed too about getting less than 5% For something that was completely my creation

Dave Chapelle is a comedy genius. He’s goes where other comedians are afraid to go. Yeah, same here. So many guys lose all their friends after getting married, having kids, etc. Then they end up at 50 lonely and bitter. Gotta keep those friendships from your youth cuz you'll never have such friends again otherwise.
The funniest part about this to me was that the three young men watching it didn’t get the joke about it being okay to have a mayor who uses cocaine (Marion Barry) but not a president. 🤣
I always thought of Dave as the black George Carlin, both doing social commentary and making it both funny and thought-provoking at the same time. Could you imagine a show with both those guys doing their routines? Awesome!
i guarantee you will watch more Chappelle after this. great content and look forward to next video. you should do eddie Murphy delirious. i woukd love to see your reactions haha
