My 1st gen iPad Pro had battery problem and wouldn’t turn on no matter how I tried but the force restart (up volume, down volume, and hold power button) actually worked and allowed me to back up my iPad Pro immediate and saved me from losing some recent files! Thank you for your video!
My original iPad is second generation so I waited a bit to upgrade. The new 10th generation was a great bargain for Prime Day that I couldn't pass up. It was easy enough to set up: everything came down from iCloud with no issues.

One time this tactic worked: use your other iPad that charges, charge it. shake the charger in there. Let it charge for a while, unplug it. Plug it into the one that won’t turn on. And keep redoing this. It usually works if lucky.

for people with an iphone click the volume up button and release then the volume down button and release and do it quick and make sure not to hold the volume buttons. then hold your power button untill you see something say support apple restore(hold it for 90 seconds or until you see it) then hold the power button until you dont see the screen anymore then hold the power button and thats how you force restart on iPhone if it shut down and wont turn back on.

i'm trying to fix my moms 10.5 inch i pad pro, she has never dropped it, and i have been trying to turn it on the whole day, but a couple minutes ago it turned on to the battery screen, but then stopped turning on, and it's been plugged in all day and still won't turn on.
Flip it upside down so that the apple logo on the back is showing, next use a hairdrier and just use it on the ipad!! Do it for about 2 or 3 mins then plug it back in and it should work :) it just needs heat!

So what worked for me is my iPad hasn’t been turned on for months maybe even a year.. so I left it charging for a hour or two tried the power on and the home button same time, no luck then I pressed the volume buttons and within seconds it showed me to the dead battery screen! After it’s fully charged it’s back to its regular self

It did worked on my ipad pro after trying 5 to 6 times once after trying it for 2-3 times I got panicked that my I pad is having some hardware issue and it has no warranty left but I did tried it few times more hopelessly and then it started working 🎉
