    HDR is Hight Dynamic Range, it's to make the colors pop and bright. Not all monitors support it so that would explain why not everyone on the update is effected, but most

    We used to be able to stay one windows version behind, M$ have stopped us from being able to do that, so now the advice is to stay one update behind !

    I’m running into this problem after just getting my PC fixed and had a new Windows installed 😢

    I re-installed 23h2 because of this, this was crashing for me path of exile 2 and Marvel rivals after that no more crashes

    PoE2 works, and that is good enough for now.

    Microsoft probably did nothing wrong here. My guess is Ubisoft does some terrible coding.

      You might not be far off on this. Since other games are affected and not all, I am guessing it's some quick programming copy and paste trick to bypass a few steps for better response time in the hopes something like this doesn't happen.

      @brokenberean if Microsoft unilaterally changes an API or worse an ABI, then it's obviously their fault. However, in the case of the former if they document a change or deprecation then it's mutual...
