I've come across your channel via Stass, glad I did, you've a great approach.
Thanks mate - appreciate feedback. Just uploaded the brew day vid for the GOSE. Enjoy
Looks fantastic
Thanks mate 🍻
Good work as usual lads. I was looking forward to ya first video of the year, and you didn't fail to impress. 🤘🏼🤘🏼
Thanks mate - not the best editing in the world but this was a pre Xmas brew day - so was getting a bit old. Thanks for watching
Abernethy Brothers Brewing when you boys bringing out a new video?? Miss ya mugs.
Dean Upton yeah been a bit busy mate - got a few coming soon
Abernethy Brothers Brewing nice work boys. Hope you all did well during the fires down there mate. Now for the wets.
Very entertaining! Interesting experience you had. Thanks
Thanks mate - summer break meant a gap between the last vid. Thanks for watching
Great channel guys ,just subbed and got here from Pierre s channel. Cheers and looking forward to watching your videos. AWESOME.
Thanks mate - appreciate your feedback
Fellas! Your brew looks amazing. I do have a question - Simon said that you put the keg on gas for two weeks.
What was the PSI you put it on for two weeks?
Cheers mate - we carbonate at normal serving pressure which for our system is about 12 psi. The comment about two weeks relates to when we believe it is at is best in terms of carbonation. You can force carb in the keg and have it done in 15minutes but you can overcarb your beer. Many ways of doing it - this is the approach we prefer - thanks for watching 👍🍻
Abernethy Brothers Brewing thank you so much for the clarification. I’m force carbonating at the moment, but feel that it does produce a “soapy” finish - like Simon said. Again, thanks so much! Looking forward to all the videos and great content you guys put out!
Cheers mate - really appreciate your comments. Happy lockdown brewing
Looks like a very nice brew. You guys look you are having a ball.
Thanks mate - got several videos I need to edit - when I get some spare time ! 🍻
Cheers we just found your channel and subscribed , we home brew beer make wine and meads grow hops , sucking a couple cold ones now ..stay thirsty friends .
Thanks mate. Yeap having been thinking about the ‘growing hops’ thing. Stay tuned
Nice work boys! You seem very happy with this brew. I always learn something from you. (how to remove recirc arm and not make a mess) Thanks for sharing the recipe. Cheers
No worries mate - thanks for watching
I see 100g dry hop. So you added another 50g in your keg as well?
Yeap 50g straight in the keg in a hop tube
@@abernethybrothersbrewing3838 OK cheers
love your channel guys, I must try this recipe. One question what was your dry hop time and schedule pleae?
Thanks mate - the recipe and hop schedule. is included in the notes section of the video. We did then add 50g dry hop straight into the keg and left it in - this worked pretty good 👍🍻
Hi guys, didn't you do any sparging ?
Yeah mate - standard process. Didn’t catch everything on camera on brewday - got 25ltrs in the fermenter
