They do help, but because they are attached to the brake lever they do point down a little so you do get a little air or rain to the wrist area. ... so not quite like a windshield for your gloves but still helpful.
It is only plastic, so not sure how it would stand up to a crash. They do protect your hands some but your gloves will still get wet in the rain. Maybe fingers would be spared getting as wet as they would otherwise.
Hi! Hi install both handguards easily but now the break light is always on as if the brake lever was being pressed. I already check and the lever is not pressing the cilinder so probably is something related with the sensor. Do you have any idea what it could be? Thanks for your help
Yikes! I'd try taking it back apart and see if the brake light goes off. Then you'll know it's something about the re-installation of the brake lever. I didn't run into any problems like that when I installed mine. I tried to keep the lever as close to in place as I could when I removed the bolt. Maybe something moved when you had the brake lever bolt out??
I'm especially interested in the rear. Ever since I got my tiger, every time he comes home from work the rear caliper is very hot. I brake a little with the rear brake. The dealership tells me that they don't see anything strange, but I don't see it as normal. I want to change them, but I'm not sure of the model of the pads. I think it's the EBC FA140HH, but I'm not sure. I hope you understand everything right, since I am using the google translator. Greetings.
... sorry for the delay in response, I had to check out my video first to see how I all presented it. There is a milled out shoulder for the bushing to drop into. I double checked with the Triumph Instructions. I did it right the first time and then doubted myself and changed it and then changed it back ... so NOT on top.... In the end it doesn't seem to hold as tight as I would have thought, but it doesn't seem to rattle either once every thing is tightened up. Here's the link to the instructions if you haven't already gone through them. I guess they wanted to be sure it didn't impede the operation of the lever. www.triumphinstructions.com/ProdDocs/A9630809-US.pdf
Good Job... Thanks for the detailed installation instructions👍. Greetings from Germany
Thank you! Merry Christmas Schusti!
Thank you! I appreciate all the tips. Just want to let you know.
Thank you! :-)
Thank you for guide 🙏
thanks!
How well do these hand guards protect against wind/cold? Noticeable difference?

Great video have you had any problems with panels rattling or coming loose ?
Nothing seeming to come loose but the dash/windscreen does creak a little maybe when in buffeting wind. … I’m at around 20k for mileage.
Hi! Do the handguards protect in some way the clutch and break lever? Or they just protect your hands from wind and cold?
Thanks for your video!

Nice Job on the video! My guards are coming in today and i will be installing them this weekend. Much easier for me now that you created the video!
Hi, which brand topcase do u use?
I used my Shad top case from my previous bike and just adapted it to fit
Hey man, I just bought these for my Tiger Sport and put them on in a breeze thanks to your video. I appreciate you!
Will this work with trident 660?
sorry I can't say, I just have the Tiger
I ordered mine last week. I received a message today saying they were in. I’ll install mine tomorrow right after I pick them up. Thanks for the video!
You’re welcome!

And maybe make sure there is slack in the front brake cable and wiggle the rear brake pedal as well as either would activate the brake light.
Hello friend, a video on changing brake pads would be nice.
Thank you
Good idea! I'm still on the original pads so far but will definitely have to make a video when I do.

How did you resolve the loose right grip. Did the bushing need to go on top rather than underneath?
