- Hello! I thought I would do a video on (the majority of) my shoes & how/ where I look for vintage shoes and vintage inspired. When I was a little girl I begged my Mom for the GoGo boots in the Nancy Sinatra style(white,ankle length)and she gave them to me as a present after I had my tonsils removed!LOLI wore them constantly:) I think the holes on the black boots are called grommets.I wore many pairs of cream and white low,chunky heeled shoes throughout the 60's&70's as well as boots.I had a black pair similar to your style here.Maybe I can find some pictures and share them with you.Occasionally I do find vintage shoes in the style you prefer when I'm thrifting.Zara and Forever 21 are the only stores that sometimes have vintage inspired styles and I always buy them.My preference is still for the platform sandal only and I love the glitter you placed on this pair.I own some early 80's vintage shoes but I'm not as excited to wear them as much as the 70's styles.Love your channel and will check out your IG.

Soak facial pads in alcohol, ring out and place them on the white leather shoes and leave over night. It will remove the dark stains and not damage the leather.

For the thigh high boots, maybe when you where tights or socks, pin them on the inside to your tights and then they’ll stay secure 😊

I adore white shoes, I have about 5 pairs of them. Don’t even get me started with cute wedding shoes with the pearlescent finish on the leather.

Wow I love those glitter platforms. Girl you need to get yourself a tube of EZ6000 glue for small shoe repairs like peeling fabric; it's like superglue, but flexible. And for any smooth shiny leather, including patent leather, try rubbing some vaseline on the scuffs and marks, then wiping off the excess. You should do this after trying any other stain removal techniques, since alcohol and whatnot won't penetrate the vaseline residue very easily. Old-fashioned shoe polish kits may also work well for you.

I love how you customized those boots and heels!! I was thinking of drawing or painting on my old dirty converse but my friend told me she threaded beads all around hers and then painted scenes on the sides of hers so I am now really inspired to do that. I'm so sad, my sparkly blue go go boots just split in half when I was walking to class one day so I have to glue them back together

No one has to justify how much they spend on a super pair of vintage shoes imo! They will be gorgeous when refurbished-I have some I plan to do the same with. I will keep them till I can have them fixed.Never throw away vintage.

I love the 60s shoes style they seem so unique and comfortable because of the square toes. I’m so happy square toes and 60s and 70s inspired styles are in because that means I’ll be able to get more square toed sixty styled shoes in mainstream retailers too besides thrift stores and specialists. A very high quality 60s style shoe brand is Carel paris, they have beautiful mary janes and sandals
It freaks me out how so many of the fashion models on UA-cam are touching the bottoms of their shoes worn in the city or anywhere really!
Humans touching money freaks me out. I yak if one dares to put money in their mouth around me. Honestly, I gag.

What size do you wear? I'm a 9.5/10 and I can't ever find vintage shoes 😭
Omg I'm a 9 and it's so rare that I find vintage, of the two genuine vintage pairs I have one is a size "9" from the 60s but they are a modern day 8.5 and I have to like squeeze my feet in and can only wear them for an hour 😭 Amazon is amazing for modern dupes though! Also my new find this month was that some ballroom dance shoes look a lot like Mary Jane shoes from the 60s and are super comfortable !!!

haha tall girl probs. But ya that would make it hard to find vintage stuff... I used to be in that position as well! I did a lot of online shopping then but making your own clothes is a great idea! Good way to get some cool & original pieces!
