Pokémon Scarlet and Pokémon Violet are the latest 2022 role-playing video games (RPGs) developed by Game Freak and published by Nintendo and The Pokémon Company for the Nintendo Switch. Announced in February 2022, they are the first installments in the ninth generation of the Pokémon video game series and were released on 18 November 2022.
Pokémon Scarlet and Violet largely follow the same basic gameplay structure of previous Pokémon games, where players obtain creatures known as Pokémon, primarily through catching and trading, and use them to explore the world and battle other Pokémon trainers. - Ігри
I love how the legendary Pokemon always has the quirky nature, which just fits so well with its personality throughout the game
Was I the only one who before miraidon changed into its battle form I was cheering “c’mon buddy!! You can do this!!!”
Something that I don’t think has been spoken about is AI Turo/Sada’s final words to us. About our wisdom, courage and fortitude.
We learned the wisdom to think for ourselves from Arven, in the hunt for the Herba Mystica.
We learned the courage to hold faith in our friends from Penny, in our battles against Team Star.
And we learned the fortitude to do what must be done from Nemona, in our struggles against the Gym Challenge.
The entire game; our whole treasure hunt, prepared us for this one battle. The culmination of (in their perspective) weeks, maybe even months of learning and growing. Our entire journey prepared us to face against Turo and Miraidon, And it was because of that journey that we succeeded.
A neat detail thats not shown here is that on the team selection around 1:30, if you try to use the run away button twice penny and arvin will have dialogue about the topic of running away from the other miraidon. After this if you go back to the team menu, miraidons image will pulse and you will hear miraidon call out to you gently as if to hint to click on their icon.
Edit: corrected the time stamp
I freaked out because that’s what happened to me. I was stuck on the screen for a solid 10 minutes wondering what am I gonna do when suddenly the miraidon option began to glow. keep in mind I had gone through all of the dialogue with each text box twice and was genuinely feeling hopeless. Miraidon joining was such a relief and I had so much fun during the battle. I love the story for this game
I was wondering what to do at that momment since i did all i could and when my brother told me "there is still something else", i quickly went to my pokemon menu and Miraidon started doing noises... i literally cried like oh omg i get it now...
I pressed the run button because I was freaking out about the fact that I couldn't send out anyone.
At around 1:01 , if you go frame by frame, it says "AI Turo has no intention of fighting any more!"
Saw it
Wow, you're right. Thanks for pointing it out! I admit I was too agape at what was happening to notice the quick frame. lol.
And at 1:00 it'll say "Paradise Protection Protocol initialized"
And then is says “you are challenged to battle Paradise Protection Protocol” and not Turo anymore
Arven: How could you just go?
Nemona: Arven, are you OK bud?
Me: Are you serious, Nemona?
0:18 and thats where the ai made a mistake. Only Turo’s pokeballs were left unlocked. Your Miraidon was originally caught by Turo.
*Turo
@@wikiuser92 Thanks for pointing that out. I edited and fixed it now.
@@sonicgen20 No problem.
Dunno why that It does not show the Trainer as Turo tho
0:34 that is basically the personification of scarlet and violet. a glittchhhhfest
The music slaps, change my mind. Also I love the idea of a legendary vs legendary showdown. And it’s especially personal to yours, because it lost its territory against that Koraidon/ Miraidon. So it got personal
I just wish the fight wasn't so hand holdy. There is only one way to win which is to endure and terastallize....
@@Rubhen925 yeah, I don’t actually have it yet, but I’m getting it for Christmas, with my sister. I just hope it isn’t like sword and shield where I’m goated on level 100s and legendaries beyond comprehension, whereas she is barley into the post game, so yeh, really excited
@@Rubhen925 you don’t have to use endure the game makes your Pokémon hang on at 1 hp
But erm the fight has to be hand holdy or else you lose (assuming you don’t spam full restore)
Not going to change your mind cos it's true lol. When the rearrangement of the area melody played, that sealed the deal --- I KNEW we were going to win.
the best end in a Pokemom game EVER
But still voiceless
Poor Arven lost his mom and dad to research. I wonder how the anime will be.
If you think about it tho his mom/dad is freaky and prioritizes research above anything else
@@razorleaf i agree even the AI realized that the original profs are not doing any good to current Paldea’s ecosystem that’s why AI Turo/Sada asked the main protagonists to destroy them so they can stop the time machine from being past/future pokemons to the present
@@sushi_bacon2857 yea - the professors are smart too so they knew how the machine would effect the ecosystem but they seem to not have cared
Only thing they did that was good is the fact that they died trying to save our kiraidon/miraidon’s life (which was stupid, but probably saved the ecosystem until we arrived)
Base power 150 Last Respects!
I fricken love how magical the battle is
Even though this is pretty much a scripted battle, they do a great job investing the player with what's going on
Love how the player encourages the scared Miraidon to battle letting it know they are in it together
I know I wasn’t the only one who was yelling “c’mon miraidon! You can do this buddy!” Before it changed into its battle form.
So you cant loose this fight?
@@qwerttzizziyou can it's just that miraidon has a chain of moves that it will do in an order no matter what+this battle is PAINFULLY HARD and you are probably going to lose the first time
I hope someone will do a reaction clip. Cause this is the most anticipation battle ever.
Personally i like violet more then scarlet
I also think the future theme makes more sense with the whole professor is an android twist.
01:37 (Brave-Heart from Digimon, or Sailor Moon transformation sequence music)
05:40 (Terrastrilize moment)
7th Pokemon = plot armor
Just like in the pokemon adventures manga with the ruby/sapphire arc. Hoenn Hoenn Hoenn and then suddenly ruby pulls out his 7th party member.... CELEBI. IN HOENN. lol
Endure! Eeeenduuuuure!
Thank you
I love how Miraidon looks and it's my favorite legendary with Palkia ❤
You unlock the legendary by trusting on him. You can say whatever about this game but the story is pure gold.
this feel like this is the first pokemon game where the main legendary actually fine being captured and owned by the Main character. previous gen either you use a masterball (what else your going to use it for without accidently fainting and retry the whole thing) or throw a ton of pokeball until one sticks which is usually more costly than getting another masterball via the in-game lottery feature (which for SV its lock behind a paywall)
the true power of miraidon
I just went to check if in the video he used Endure, I see that he did. Like
developer: how scripted do you want this to be
gamefreak: yes
What I'm wondering is since there are multiple Miraidon's doesn't that mean Miraidon technically isn't a legendary? Since it's implied that there are many of him in the future
Hmm could be. They never said he was a legendary. Just a form of cyclizar in the future.
No there are multiple of some legendaries like lugia
@@Rubhen925 for the present though it really is a legendary
Arceus implies there can be any number of legendary pokemon
Unless explicitly stated in a pokedex, there's not 1 of each legendary. Reminder in some of the older games you can fight certain trainers that have legendaries.. when you also have that legendary in your party. Most notably in (I think?) B/W, where you can have all the Regis but fight someone else who also have regis(please correct me on which game it was)
A legendary who can envolve
Thank you so much I won the battle
Lmao
My brother really like red heads huh
people think i'm lying when i say it. For me the order is Redhead, jet black hair, and platinum blond like in witcher 3 for ciri. 😂
And now we wait for The Callisto Protocol.
Evil west on Monday. 👀
If anyone knows please tell me after you beat Alvin in a battle he says to find the team I don’t know where the people are so I can’t get the team can someone tell me where they are
Just continue the story and complete the gyms and star bosses
@@Rubhen925 ok ty
@@Rubhen925 okay I kinda figured that out now I found a place at the bottom I don’t know what to do all of us are just standing around there’s a teleporter thing and there’s a bed the doors are locked what the hell do I do
Have you beaten all the story? Have you beaten elite four? Because you can't progress that place otherwise
@@Rubhen925 yes I’m in the underground place
Your character looks like Wendy.
😆
1:38
So what happens if you lose here?
You cant. Whenever he knocks out your pokemon it will leave you with 1 hp, the same as when the “affection” mechanics starting from generation vi can randomly save you from being fainted.
What Mark said. All attacks have a 100% chance of being endured at 1 health and it can happen infinite times.
@@marksantiago9841 Wait I wasted 3 full heals without realizing its not faintable.
